Capriottis has been my favorite sandwich shop for over 20 years. Massive subs if you get the large. Great cheesesteak, the Capistrami is my favorite sandwich hand down. The Bobbi is amazing but very filling. I've been to like 6 different locations in vegas and the service and speed is always fast kind and helpful. Most are designed to grab and go. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a restaurant. I ordered through the Capriotti's app and very clearly put NO BREAD in the instructions. When I got to the window, they told me to drive back around because the food "wasn't ready." Fine. When they finally gave me the order, it was sandwiches with bread. I pointed out that my receipt from the app shows no bread. The guy at the window didn't care at all, shrugged it off, and basically told me "sorry" while handing me food I didn't order. Zero effort to make it right. To top it off, the food wasn't even hot by the time I got home and I only live 5 mins away! Lazy, careless, and unprofessional. I've visited this location several times and I've had a different experience each time. More negative than positive. When you pay $33 for 2 10" sandwiches which included a $5 tip you kinda expect to receive an accurate product. My hubby and I went to pick up our sandwiches after placing an order through the app. The server was a young man who did not look thrilled to be there. A bad representation for the company. When we took the sandwiches home, the classic Italian was completely missing everything that the sandwich entails other than the meat and the cheese. No condiments, no peppers no anything. The other sandwich was fine except no mixed peppers as requested. However, I also asked to have the peppers placed in a container on the side and they were not even included on the sandwich let alone in a container on the side. This was my final experience in this location since each and every time I never know exactly what shape my order will be in. The customer service here is the worst I've ever seen. I called and ordered two sandwiches. The one sandwich was fine I asked for a a simple turkey and cheese sandwich with mayo and mustard. This is a fairly new Capriotti's, and I love it. I came across it just as the COVID-19 Pandemic was starting. The first time I stopped by, they were running business as usual. The next time I went in, they were wiping down everything as people used them. Now, it's pick up and delivery only. Each time I've visited this location, the service has been great. They did forget pickles on one of our subs even after they repeated that one sub was supposed to have them, and it wasn't made quite evenly with toppings by the time it was cut in half either. The app for the place makes it so easy to order, and I pick drive through for pick up so I never have to get out of the car. No pesky getting dressed just order, hop in the car in my sweats ( or get the wife to go) and boom, lunch! I've been stuck on the American wagyu and cheese sub. Regularly come here and usually service is very great however recently they shut their grill down around 8:20ish every day. I came in couple weeks ago and the guy acted like he didn't want to make 1 cheesesteak when they weren't even gonna close in 10 minutes. We frequent Capriotti's and not only did they change the bread, the changed the portion sizes and quality of their menu items. I always order a Cole Turkey (small) and never can I finish it since it's always packed with delicious turkey, coleslaw and cheese and Russian dressing. This is our go to for a fast pick up lunch. We have never had a bad sandwich. And the lady that takes the order has been doing this with a smile for as long as I can remember. I picked up my order and came home after ordering a capastrami with onions and peppers. And when I got home the sandwich has no sauce or coleslaw. Supper saddening because this sandwich's was $12 and didn't have all the ingredients. I called the restaurant they were nice and said asked the chef if he put coleslaw and he said he did. I moved to California from Vegas and this is one place I always try to eat at when I'm in town. I normally would order the turkey sandwich, but wanted to try something different this time. BEWARE HIDDEN FEES! The food was great but they charged us for delivery AND passed the actual 3rd party delivery fee on to us. There was a "OLO Dispatch 4.99", "OLO Dispatch fee 5.00", and "Service fee 3.99" on our itemized receipt. When I went back to the app, the service fee was lumped in with the tax and difficult to see. When I called, they were not sure what the fees were and couldn't explain them. It was then determined the $5.00 was the tip- fine. The $4.99 went to Grub Hub. The $3.99 was for them to notify Grub Hub there was a pick up!! That is getting a little greedy. They need to be transparent on what is charged. Our $43.00 order ended up costing $61.00. read more
