Oh no. The most disgusting non edible dried out, burnt Chicken cheesesteak sandwich ever. The bread was also very chewy. I went in to pick up my order at 9:48 pm and they told me they were closed. ( they are not supposed to close till 10pm). I was about to pull out of the parking lot and the guy came out and asked if I was Stacey since I had ordered prior to arrival. I wish he would not have flagged me down because I just wasted over $12 for a small supposed sandwich. I generally love Caps but after this experience and waste of my hard earned money ( tossed in the trash) I doubt that I will be back. I had a bad experience at the Cheyenne location years ago and have never been back. Now I need to find a new favorite fast food place because Cap's is certainly NOT it. This particular spot is one of the better ones I've eaten from and I've eaten at a handful of them across the Vegas Valley.. Aside from from your Mom & Pop joints (seems to me not many of them in the Vegas Valley, at least on my side of town) I feel Capprioti's is one of the better franchise sandwich outfits. I will admit there are one or two sandwich spots I haven't tried yet to compare because of location but this is my feeling at the moment and can change at some point. As for quality of meat and ingredients, it's solid. The veggies was fresh, didn't taste frozen. The roast beef had flavor and good texture. Bread was nice and soft. I guess my only complaint would be is it could've been a little more meat added but with all the inflation it's par for the course, really. $15 dollars for a small (8", I believe) with tip. No beverage or chips added. When I go here, their Wagyu Roast Beef is what I typically get. Although, I do like their Philly Cheesesteak and Capastrami as well. Not a huge fan of the Bobby which is their Thanksgiving style sandwich but to each their own. Service was good and respectable, very friendly. Awesome job. I get a craving for Capriotti's every now and then. I love their hot classic cheesesteak. Their Bobbie is a good choice (minus the mayo), but I prefer a hot sub, and the classic cheesesteak hits the spot for me. I was on the fence about doing delivery today but decided to stop in after getting coffee. I had a bogo coupon for the half sub on the Capriotti's app. Both times ordering pickup on my last visit and my visit today.. it seemed like the cashiers were frustrated with redeeming my coupon in their system. The coupon is from the Capriotti's app, so I don't know what the problem is. Luckily, it got redeemed. I think in the future, if I use a coupon again, I will just place my pickup order from the app. I can apply the reward from there seamlessly. Now I've been coming to Capriotti's for years, and I don't recall hearing the saying "beer money" from the other locations. This particular location have workers who will say this anytime they see you left a tip. The tip jar also says, "beer money." It's none of my business how you use your money because you earned it. I just think the reference is tacky. Maybe stick to just "tip money" if you want to call it out. Just my opinion... Anyway, the food is great. Made fast. It's hot and delicious. I arrived at 8:35pm. They had chairs up and were cleaning the grill. I asked if they were open, and they reluctant said yes, so my wife and I went inside. My wife wanted a meatball sandwich, and when I went to order it, the lady just shook her head no and said the meatballs were already put away. Very poor attitude and customer service. I love this Capriotti's location. I come here at least once a week for my boss. The employees are always nice and helpful. The restaurant is clean and orderly. I like that you get to watch them make the food in front of you, you know it's fresh. Anytime you tip they ALWAYS remember to say "beer money guys" even if they're extremely busy. Sandwiches are good, up to Capriotti's standards I believe. No real issue here. The issue lies with customer service. This locations franchisee needs to either retrain or rehire the staff. Left standing at the register while waiting for the 3 staff members to stop horse playing around before being addressed, but even then, one of the guys still had a hold of an employee from behind the neck. With that type of service, it's hard to trust your order will be correct, so I asked if everything's there as ordered, "yup all there," while checking the receipt, but never confirming with me on the ordered sandwiches, and this was one of the 3 that seemed to still somewhat work. My daughter came with me and we ordered the large Bobbi sandwich (see photo). If I remember correctly, it's 24" long! It was loaded with fresh turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce on the longest, freshest, most delicious sandwich roll I've ever seen and tasted. The large Bobbi served my daughter and I, and then her boyfriend (we took a lot of it home to him) and all of us were very satisfied and full.
