When we first walked in we were greeted and seated fast, the place is very nice plenty of parking spaces very clean dinning areas but here's the problem they got a problem with keeping their food warm and hot because everything is just cold and room temp the food is hella mid too some stuff are wayyy to salty compare to other places some stuff just lack flavor overall, only thing I like is those sushi. read more

We paid the dinner price which included crab legs, but they were very small and skimpy, not worth the effort. Raw oysters were nasty tasting, although I did not get sick, to be fair. read more

Food was disgusting. They make you pay ahead of time so they can take your money before you realize it's not worth the cost. Came on a Sunday around 5:30pm and food was barely lukewarm, sushi had been sitting out so long the rice had become hard. I brought it to their attention and I was told I could "get a new plate." My family came for dinner on the first soft opening day. Each adult was $26.99 (drink included; they had a fountain soda machine where you grab your own drinks) and kid's price goes by height. There was very little variety of foods compared to #1 buffet and Yum buffet. To name a few items: there were crab legs, oysters, sushi, basic Chinese buffet food, some dim sum, and hibachi grill. The hibachi grill was disappointing (they only had egg noodles, I was hoping there were like other types of noodles). There was also no plain steamed white rice??????? And there was no melted butter for the crab legs. I wouldn't come back because I feel like other buffets in Sac are way better and for a cheaper price with more options! read more

The fried fish and crab was very dry. Craw fish was flavorful from the "boil" seasoning . It's a typical Chinese buffet with a sashimi and sushi roll. That's where I got most of my $26 dollars of food. read more

The steamed oysters were half raw, there wasn't much of a selection for the price paid. The snow crab legs were cold and did not get refilled fast enough. Most items were cold and not fresh. Just go to a local Chinese restaurant for fresher food. read more

I was so excited to try this place especially for the crab and when I arrived I was met with so much disappointment the food could've been fresher like it needed to be swapped for a fresh batch (coconut shrimp) the crab was not up to par and the butter is just overly salty the cooked shrimp wasn't even peeled you can see the shrimp bowel which is not appetizing however I did give the coconut shrimp another try when I seen a fresh batch was brought out and it was creamy deliciousness so my advice is probably go for a lunch service early in the day because the dinner could've been better read more

I'm confused about the bad reviews? I thought the buffet was great! Compared to $62.00 at Red Hawk who doesn't even have oysters anymore. The crab was great, the oysters were huge and the shrimp was awesome. As for the non-seafood items, I only tried the coconut shrimp which was also good. This place just opened up so I'll give them the benefit of a doubt to wake up the kinks. Front door staff was really nice and helpful place was fairly clean. Price was reasonable, but I definitely would come for dinner more than lunch even though it's more expensive. Now as far as the food there selections OK but for lunch all their sushi pretty much is a different variation of crab salad. The only I like two pieces of nigiri, shrimp did not remember what the other one was. Their buffet section was decent however, most of their hot food was cold. I mean cold not tepid so if I went back again, it would be to try with dinner is for the bigger sushi, as for lunch, I would not go back and the Mongolian station shouldn't be called Mongolian. steak iand a couple vegetables and they do the sauce so that's not Mongoliaif. We were the first guest in the restaurant so it was very clean and the buffet was full. We looked at the food and had very high hopes. Once we tried the food disappointed set it quickly! The sushi tasted as if it was left over from yesterday! Dry as the sierra desert! It was just not good. The foods look great but for the most part very tasteless. Newly renovated, food is good. Price is more than fair. Mongolian bbq towards the back. Depending on their height, kids can eat free. I paid $40 for 2 people to eat during lunch time, well worth the price! Would definitely go back. Highly recommend the hibachi chicken, fried sweet plantain, and fried chicken wings. I'm not understanding these bad reviews. If you want premium sushi, go to a premium sushi place and pay $50/person. When you pay $18, it's not going to be premium, it's going to be ok, and then you have all the other food as well. Compare this to a similar restaurant. It ranks about the same as Habichi Grill on Sunrise in Rancho. It's better than Yum Buffet on Florin by 99. The food is good at lunch, and cheap for $18 and AYCD soda is included. Where can you eat for less than that these days. Any basic restaurant will cost you at least $15, and some of those are so-so. I recommend this place now while it's new. The place looks great. The bathrooms are clean. Everything is new and clean. The honey walnut Shrimp (w/o walnuts :( ) were really good. The Habachi chicken is like Hahachi Grills, and pepper chicken is like Yum Buffets, do they have the same cook? Everything here tasted good here, not just for the price, it was just good. The sushi, it's ok. I don't go to these buffets for the sushi, I'd go to Raku instead, but then all they have is Sushi, and a few other food items. Highly recommended, and the workers here are good. With everything are being so expensive right now. For that price include the drink and the selections is unbeatable. Especially they serve streamed oysters and snow crab on dinner. Honestly the food here is kinda garbage, I saw some reviews today and wanted to try it bc I like a good buffet but this place was not the move. I only give it 2 stars because the coconut shrimp was the best part besides that everything was nasty especially the general chicken i couldn't even eat a piece had to spit it out. The service was very unprofessional the employees were wearing AirPods on the floor and felt like they didn't know what they were doing so the service was a no. Went with 4 seniors and 4 adults for dinner. They include 5% service charge. The total was $233.37. You pay up front before you get a table, so if you have a large group of people, you want to make sure the person who is going to pay is available before you go in. Staff were nice and very attentive. They removed the dirty dishes frequently. Variety of typical food you would see at a Chinese buffet. There were cubed sashimi of tuna and tilapia, nigiri with tuna, salmon, tilapia, and imitation crab. Basic rolls. I didn't think sushi was fresh, might've been sitting out for too long. They have a variety of seafood, steamed and raw oysters and cold crab legs, shrimps, sea snails, crawfish, mussels, etc. They didn't have black bean sauced clams though. They have a mongolian bbq station that you can make your own plate, but it's not make your own sauce. They constantly brought newly cooked food. Self-serve drinks station was convenient. They have ice cream cup along with fruits and pastries for desserts. read more
