DO NOT GET THE STEAK! the chef overcooked it. it was tough and chewy. Service was nice though. They refilled my soda often.

I tried their soups not hot and sour and wonton. They were just ok. There were so many food options that I didn't even make it to the sushi, Mongolian bbq section. You get a bang with your buck but not for me. Dessert was an ice cream machine but wish they had toppings to go with it. There were also some fruit and cakes to choose from. It was okay overall but I personally don't think I would be back.

All in all, I enjoyed the Tonkatsu broth and like the variety of meats and veggies available. Korean BBQ - A bit different in that you do not order at the table. There is an area with small trays of meat available for you to grab and bring back to your table. Good variety. Pork Jowl was my favorite and it's not as common. The only issue is that if your party doesn't communicate, you some how end up grabbing all of the same items! So discuss amongst yourselves or else it might be an overkill. They have Wagyu beef options, but to me, the meat is a bit dry and doesn't really seem like Wagyu. The best cut of meat for hot pot, in my opinion, is the Beef Toro. The pieces are a good size and are never dry. They also have a good variety of soup base options. My favorite is Spicy Miso. The service is great! They're always attentive and make sure to put in the next round of meat. I haven't tried the BBQ yet, but I'm happy sticking with the hot pot.

Dear to whoever this may concern! *BE AWARE* Me and my wife stumbled upon this establishment looking for something NEW,11/30/25 First things first the place looked amazing as soon as you walk in, We were greeted and seated right away with a warm welcome So farrr so good. This is where the great experience and excitement went out the window. When we were directed to our seats I excused myself from the table to head to the restroom. So here I was at the urinal, I turned my head to the door as I heard it open, One of the staff members walk in and stands to the right of me to use the station next to me as there are only two. As I finish up I'm washing my hands trying to pump soap out the dispenser haha, The man walks right past me WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS I knew it was a staff member because I saw the back of his shirt it had the captin buffet logo. This is absolutely disgusting he walks out and continues to do his work duties serving sushi or making it. I get not washing your hands when you're working out in the field because you can get away with it but!!!! Handling food come onnnnn man that is inhumane and unsanitary where is the respect you could have at least faked a hand wash, This ruined my appetite right after god know what he's touched and served food. I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews. Based on my own personal experience, I came here for dinner and was very impressed with this restaurant. The food selection is extremely rich, offering Chinese dishes, sushi, sashimi, crab legs, oysters, shrimp, as well as a variety of fruit salads and desserts, freshly prepared hibachi, and many other hot dishes. All the ingredients are very fresh -- the sushi and sashimi have great texture and taste, and the seafood is plump and flavorful. The busboy promptly cleared the tables and was very friendly. The dining environment is comfortable, clean, and hygienic, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. I think you shouldn't be swayed by negative reviews online. At the very least, you should experience it yourself and give this new restaurant a chance. I went to this newly opened buffet for dinner yesterday, and overall, the experience was amazing. Both adults and kids had a wonderful time dining here. I'm not someone who's good at cooking, so this place really solves my problem. The kids absolutely loved it -- they even said it's the best buffet they've ever been to. In this day and age when prices keep going up, being able to enjoy such a wide variety of delicious food at such an affordable price is truly wonderful. We went to Captain Buffet on Saturday night and honestly had a really good experience. For a buffet, they had a large selection with tons of variety, including a really solid seafood section -- shrimp, crab, mussels, and a few other options that were all fresh and well-stocked. Because it was so busy, nothing seemed like it had been sitting out for long, which made everything taste fresher. We didn't try anything that we thought was gross -- everything we grabbed was pretty good. Overall, we left happy and satisfied. I saw a lady complaining about the crab legs and demanded a refunded or she will post on yelp. Lady, if u r broke just say it lol the crab legs are completely safe to eat because it's the shell unless you eat the shell? There are some weird customer base there. Been wanted to try this place since it open couple months ago finally had a chance to come here for dinner. What still for the price in October. What I notice is the food alway stay hot cause they dont cook a big batch at a time. The flavor is on point and the seafood is excellent. Unfortunately, I didn't check my plate before leaving the restaurant because they gave me all steam rice and no chow mein. Despite the error, their chicken wings are still the best, and the chicken with black bean sauce was very good. I would've like to have tried the chow mein. Also, I didn't notice that they charged $16.99 for the plate, which was a little steep considering I got no chow mein. Some of the condiments are extra, like the hot mustard, so ask for it before they ring up your bill. I'm sure I'll be going back for the chicken wings because it's made fresh and it's really good.

The sushi rolls were generously filled, and the hibachi steak, shrimp, and vegetables were cooked perfectly. For an all-you-can-eat restaurant, the quality and variety are excellent, especially for the price. You get a great mix of sushi, seafood, hibachi, appetizers, and more without feeling like you're sacrificing freshness. The staff were also very nice, friendly, and attentive, which made the experience even better. The ambience was also really nice, clean, comfortable, and welcoming.

You can definitely that the quality of meat is a bit better than some of the competition, as the prime ribeye steak for example is well marbled and tender. Appetizers are really solid for the AYCE menu, like cold noodles + steamed egg were really fantastic. Also has the green onion pancakes that I'm a huge fan of. Highly recommend you try ordering their marinated galbi(short rib). It isn't a extremely sweet version, but has great depth of flavor. Service? Not many servers, but they were quite attentive to any requests and were competent.
