Chicken tender salad
Rodney A.

The amount of food that you get is amazing. I got the shrimp (head off) and the black mussels with added Sausage. The only downside I think is there wasn't enough juice in the bag but other than that. Amazing. My wife got the chicken tender salad with Cajun fries. The was service was excellent because it wasn't that busy. The ambiance was alright, good music, you get a pirate ship vibe. Overall you definitely get a bang for your buck with good food. Another downside is there's no lunch special on the weekends.

First timers checking out this new seafood place. Wasn't sure what to expect but we were all pleasantly surprised and impressed with the portions and prices of the food. Service was great very attentive and listened. The decode was very fishy and lots of cool artwork. We shall be back again!

Our boils were yummy I got spicy(all in no jalapeño) cause that what I love I got the shrimp and mussels boil and he got the low country boil medium (all in as well) for him. It did have a bit too much garlic & lemon but the taste over all was great. We personally love boils and seafood. They have cool pictures and other things. Service was good & busy.

Better than most seafood boil places in Colorado. Pretty good for a chain. Unfortunately didn't have liquor license when we went.

They are working hard to revamp the original concept and make delicious food from scratch. The double burger with side of tots or fries ($16) or +$3 to upgrade the side to the best hand-battered onion rings is a great value. Make sure to ask for Burger Sauce instead of the usual ketchup and mustard. This is a craveable burger. I love the decor and vibe of this place, with some cool but eclectic memorabilia and license plates from all the states. The dining room is a good size with big and small group seating options. Service is friendly and attentive. It is a sit-yourself situation. The tables and seats are clean (not sticky) and the bathrooms are also nicely clean and well-kept. This place has a lot going for it. I learned that they are having a grand reopening on Sunday June 14, 2026 with an all day happy hour and debuting some new made-from-scratch menu items! Welcome to the neighborhood Huckabuk's!!!!

We also came in a Wednesday because there was a sign that advertised kids eat free. Apparently under the new management, that is no longer their policy. We weren't told that until we got the bill and felt very disappointed and mislead. We talked to the server about it, and they did absolutely nothing to help or fix it. Between that and the wait time, we will not be going back.

Her culinary knowledge was clear, and pointed us in the right direction in regards to cocktails & wine selections-- what a great way to start the meal off. The food was beyond incredible. We started with "Clam Chowd'ah". Let me mention that I grew up in the Northeast, vacationing in New England my entire life, and this soup is spot on to the real thing-- a true MUST order, along with some delicious French bread & butter was all a wonderful starter. For dinner, our table ordered the "Hazel Dell Mushroom Wellington," a vegetarian magnum opus to be sure-- crispy & decadent, yet delicate pastry filled will savory mushrooms, yum! We also ordered the "Braised Colorado Short Rib" that fell apart with a fork only, no knives needed it was so tender! And finally, we ordered the "Maine Scallop Risotto." Tender, delicate scallops, not tough in the slightest gently placed on perfectly cooked risotto the way it's supposed to be, slightly loose, and not gluey-- the flavor was rich & tasty! Utter perfection, and my favorite dish of the night if its even possible to pick one from the incredible cornucopia of masterful dishes. Finally, we ended with sharing the Flourless Chocolate Torte (a la mode)-- a lovely, perfect way to end this perfect meal. Rarely do ALL the elements of a meal come together. Amazing, warm service with knowledgeable staff, and every single dish, every single bite was unforgettable. My highest recommendation I have given in quite some time-- what a treat indeed!

Had to ask the manager multiple times ended up with a very snotty comment from the manager, saying what's the matter do you not go out on a Friday night very often because this is what it looks like to the extent that we were infuriated... I don't know who this manager is but at this point, I would not recommend her to continue operating their business based on that behavior the poor waitress was trying to make up for the manager's bad behavior and comments. I hope that they look into her situation thoroughly.

Decided to try something new and took my father-in-law there for his birthday. We had reservations for 6:30pm and as we arrived, a large bus full of 50 college hockey players also arrived. It took us over 30 minutes to have somebody take our drink order and another 15 minutes for those drinks to arrive. We were seated with a happy hour menu, which was over and I had to ask the bartender for a drink menu and wine list. My water glass was very dirty and nobody ever came by the table in 90 minutes to refill our water. We were seated right next to the bar too. We were continually informed by our waitress and a barback that things were slow due to the large party in the other room. After 90 minutes passed and we still had not received our food, we asked to speak to the manager. When the manager came to our table, she did not introduce herself, so we had to assume she was the manager. Rather than own the mistake, she proceeded to throw our waitress under the bus. Our waitress was great and doing the best she could, but the restaurant was severely understaffed. They offered us free bread. We finally decided to get up and walk out and leave without being served our food. The manager chased us out the front door to bring our food in to-go boxes and as we were leaving, the entire hockey team was also leaving and getting back on their bus. So in the time we arrived for our reservation and after 90 minutes without being served, they came, ate and left. We were told this was a learning moment for her waitress, however, should be a learning moment for management to staff appropriately or just close the restaurant down to feed 50+ hockey team members. We won't be back!
