Today is the first day I've had my car washed at a wash that uses those "straps" that beat on your car. I'd been using a water-only wash a few blocks away; however, that wash closed some time ago. Anyway, the birds attacked my car with a vengeance and I had to get it washed. Did a search for 23455 and looked at all of the great reviews. What a great experience...well, you know, for going to a car wash. The young fellows who scrubbed the car before going in the wash were all smiles and pleasant. And, they went above and beyond to squirt out a bunch of yuck and pine needles at the base of my windshield. And, my car now looks great. I give Car Spa 5 Stars for Service and detailing. I am new to the area being from Boston Ma. and was looking for a good car wash for my Green Honda CRV. It is a 2008, and I have taken care of since buying it. So since I am a perfectionist on anyone touching my car besides myself, I went through quite a few Car Washes in Virginia Beach. The quality and Detail of the Service is Excellent, and when I was in for a Express Polish and Detail recently. My wife called to be picked up unexpectedly from the Mall, she was in discomfort since having a Knee replacement surgery recently. When I talked to the manager about the situation and needed my car sooner. He personally jumped on my car with another worker to complete the Wax/Polish and detail ASAP. I go thru the wash each and every day without fail!!!! I drive a Burgundy VW Jetta which can easily collect dust and I drive from Wesleyan to FT Eustis and back every day sooo I like my car looking clean. I tried several other wash places but none get my car looking as good as this one does. Oh god I love this car wash. Pretty reasonable prices as far as automated washes go. They accept cash or credit and it's all done by computer which is very convenient. The employees do scrub a bit before you go in and scrub even more depending on which wash you have selected. My truck always comes out shinning. The big plus is that the vacuums are free (well, probably fixed into the car wash price, but you don't have to scrounge for quarters here). There is no mad rush to finish vacuuming either just as long as they aren't too busy. They also have mat cleaning machines where are extremely helpful. read more

Employees were great. Wash was great. I spent FOREVER trying to get up minor crumbs and dirt with the vacuums. The suction just wasnt helping at all. Something that should have take me 10 minutes to vacuum took me over a half hour of going over and over with the vacuum and it still not gwtting stuff up to where i reaorted to using my sticky hair roller. read more

The $12 also includes use of the vaccums too as well as the car mat cleaner machine. DO NOT go here to get your oil changed. They left my air filter sitting on top of my battery!!!!!!!! Because of the high mileage on my car, they had me sign a waiver. Then they CARELESSLY didn't even put the air filter where it belongs. They could have busted my engine, but that didn't seem to matter to them since I signed a waiver. Incompetent. read more

This place isn't your ordinary car wash. It's a party. Suds, loud music, and great vibes. The staff brought me coffee while I used their power suction vacuums and we talked about reggae for like 30 minutes. Will be back next time I'm in Virginia Beach without fail. read more

Actually has all the services you'd expect to see at a full service wash. Wash tunnel does a great job cleaning and the employees did an excellent job on pre scrub. I was finally able to use a working floor mat scrubber that did a good job getting the week old crumbs from my mats. My only complaint and why u wouldn't give 5 stars is the free vacuums. For some reason I can't seem to find a station with decent vacuums. I've had the pleasure of using one at station in savannah that could suck the exhaust pipe through the carpet and now every other vacuum pales in comparison and these vacuums did not impress. Sure they're free but just a little more power could really be appreciated. Otherwise a really good place to get a really good car wash. read more

I have been going here for years and it was always hit or miss. I just haven't had the time to find somewhere else to go. Well, that is changing. This last visit was sub-par service, at best. I hadn't been in a while, so my car was in need. I ordered one of the pricier packages. Honestly, a 10 year old could have done a better job. The free vacuum is welcomed, but after the price that in other areas would get your entire car washed and dried without getting all nasty in the humid and hot weather, I feel like it is the least they could do. Nice that they have a couple of guys who prewash the cars before they go in. Unfortunately, even with our white car which shows obvious dirt, the boys didnt get the front lower grille or all door handles. Neither looked very enthused to be working also. Didn't hold that against them since it was a chilly Sunday afternoon. The car wash machine didn't adequately wash the car either. Talked to the prewash guy and told him the issues and he pulled us back through. I hate to complain but this was obvious stuff! Prewash again and through the machine again. I'm glad I looked the car over once more while getting gas at the Wawa. Same original issues remained just looked like they half assed the efforts AGAIN.. Two prewashes and car washes and I'm just not impressed with the results.... We got the $17 platinum wash and it's not like the car is old and the paint oxidized - it's a 2014 Toyota with 10k miles.. The people that pre wash the cars before you drive through are just miserable. They always look mad when using the brushes. The last time I came here the one guy didn't even wash the one side or the back because he was dumping out the trash can of dirty water, so that made me upset. I always get the cheapest wash because paying more doesn't make a difference on how it looks at the end. The self-serve vacuums are a great plus at the end so the combo makes it worth coming here read more

The Car Spa on North Hampton Blvd. Does a reasonably good job. I have no complaints on the wash. I had a monthly reoccurring wash plan that I was very happy with for at least a year. In December 2020 I bought a new car. I took the old sticker for the membership and turned it in to an employee and told them I wanted to continue with the plan for my new car, they put a new sticker on my car and I went through the wash. The next time I returned the gate would not open and an employee had to come over, taking there time, and told me they fixed the problem. The problem was never fixed on 5 other occasions, and on my last visit I told them I wanted to cancel my membership the employee gave me a receipt indicating it was canceled. My credit card has been charged for 4 months. I have been back and talked to employees who told me they didn't know how to fix the problem. I would not do business with this company again because they apparently don't know what they are doing and I can not trust them. read more

First time through this car wash. Vacuums have pretty good suction. My car is nice and shiny clean. However, I had sap on my car from parking near a tree and those spots didn't come off at all during the car wash. So if you just need a quick spiff up, this place is great. If you have some stuck on gunk on your car, an old fashioned hand scrub may be a better option. read more

I took my car here today for its very first wash (2016 Impreza) my experience was good. From the pre wash to the end of the wash cycle was a breeze. I got the Platinum wash for $17.00 that included all exterior wash and carnauba wax. I was the 4th person in line.. But the wait wasn't long at all. I was in and out. I went to the Northampton Blvd. Car Spa for the first time, today. I had a pocket full of quarters for the car vacuum. I had a very pleasant surprise, awaiting me. The employees were very friendly and did an excellant job of pre-scrubbing the front and lower side panels of my car. The mechanical car wash was very thorough. After the wash, i went to the car vacs with my quarters in hand. I was surprised to find that the car vacs were part of the wash. I was permitted to keep my quarters. The car vacs worked well. I was really impressed with having a vacuum on each side of the car. No pulling the hose through the car to get to the far side. This was really well thought out. I was so impressed that I went home to get my wife's car. I will be going back to this business. I have spent more than the $7 (at Car Spa) doing all of the work myself, with the foaming brush and high pressure nozzle. read more

I can only speak for the car wash, which well it's automated, and it's not a touch less system, so that's why 1 less star. Prices are fair $7-$17 depending on treatments, detergents and addons. They spray the car before it goes in and do clean the bumpers a little before letting the machine do the hard work. All in all, it does a fair job for the price. The free vacuums are a nice touch and the area is big enough you can open all the door and not worry about hitting the car beside you while cleaning the carpet. read more
