I came in because I was having tooth pain, and I was also supposed to have a cleaning but after dealing with her, I wanted to leave immediately. I was completely done with the place and decided I would rather find a new dentist. I explained that I had lost Medi-Cal a while ago because of income related eligibility issues and now had different insurance. I repeatedly told her that I am a low income mom and there was no way I could afford the large treatment bill right now. Her response was that I should have stayed with Medi-Cal because the treatment would have been free, as though that had been my choice. Instead of respecting that, she kept pushing me to open a credit account, discuss financing, ask a husband or partner, or somehow figure out how to pay for it on the spot. She repeatedly told me she did not want my tooth to fall out. After I had already said several times that I could not afford the treatment, I finally said, "Then it falls out." The entire conversation became an unnecessary back-and-forth because she would not accept "not right now" as an answer. It took a lot for me to mentally prepare myself to go to the dentist and this interaction made the entire experience extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing. My son heard the whole conversation and even said afterward that she was rude to me. Please train your staff to treat patients with more patience and compassion. Staff should not be aggressive/cutthroat when discussing treatment with someone who is clearly saying they cannot afford it. Pressuring a patient to open credit or find someone else to pay is inappropriate. I will not be returning.

One year I changed my dental insurance and she wasn't in my network, it was my fault. I didn't go to the dentist that year. They are opened on Saturdays. They never try to oversell you on work that isn't needed like other places. She's incredibly honest and empathetic to her patients. There is no other dentist I would ever go to.

After the whole fiasco with my wisdom teeth I decided to come back to this office to start my dental journey. I scheduled a deep cleaning and I was terrified to go in. Chloe their hygienist helped me out and I had the best experience with her. She's very welcoming and makes you feel comfortable right off the bat. She's gentle and very careful! She truly made my deep cleaning experience a breeze. Although I have yet to get any other work done there, I did schedule my appointments for further treatment to better my dental health. Both were done the same day in a short 3 hour tour. The real kicker is I did not feel a thing. Both procedures were a lot easier than I expected. First up was my root canal. Once that was finished I immedidiately went into the second inning. The good old crown. After some more exrays and drilling The crown was made in house in about 30 minutes. It was absolutely beautiful. Once completed the crown was fitted, adjusted then I was done. Zero pain!! Everything is done in house. Each specialist is brought in. The entire staff is friendly. They take HMO and PPO. Thats the kicker. They take HMO. Most good dentists that offer such exceptional service wont touch HMO plans. If it makes you feel better the week before I had 2 fillings. Those were also easy peasy. Bring headphones and a fidget toy.

I came in for a regular cleaning and based off looking at some Live Photos of my teeth, the dentist said I needed a deep cleaning for $600! No periodontal chart, no examining the xrays! (There was just some stains and some build up). He was asking me a ton of questions like he was trying to find a "gotcha" answer, and use that to justify a deep cleaning. "Do you smoke, do you drink, do you take supplements?" Yadi yadi ya. I have had a deep cleaning before and I was never asked these many questions (Like I was being interrogated). Previous dentist would just look at the xray and pockets to make an objective decisions. He was also acting like he was super concerned about my teeth and that this was devastating for me (I give the acting a 7/10, it was pretty decent). He then said he will see what he can do and drop some services during the deep cleaning and hook me for $160 for the deep cleaning. I walked out and talked to two different dentists/hygienist for a 2nd opinion and they said I definitely did not need a deep cleaning! The other dental office did a regular cleaning, removed the stains and build up and I was good to go. This place is so shady and unethical and needs to be reported to the BBB if you fell victim to one of their upsales. Please do not fall for their trap and seek second opinions.
