When I visited the dealership and checked out the 2018 Mazda 3 hatchback, I requested to take the car to my 3rd-party mechanic to get a second opinion and Jay had no issues whatsoever letting me test drive the car and drive it over to the mechanic by myself. I got the thumbs-up from my guy and he said everything looked great under the hood and I drove back to Karland Motors and we started talking numbers, Jay was very transparent during the process and called multiple credit unions trying to get me the best interest rate and lowest monthly payment...Since he knew this was my first car-buying experience he made sure I was explained everything thoroughly and gave me good advice along the way. Karland Motors doesn't tack on ANY unnecessary fees (besides the obvious sales tax, registration fee w/ DMV, $85 document fee, $29 title transfer, $60 emissions test). They don't push any hidden dealer warranty's, "mandatory" anti-theft device charges, market adjustment fees, prep fees, no B.S.....When I returned the next morning to pick up my car, it was washed, had a full tank of gas, oil changed and smogged!

Each car she has gotten has been a remarkable deal and not even comparable to dealerships we have checked out. We have had negative experiences at dealerships due to the constant negotiations and wasting of time and pressure from sales people. However, we have worked closely with Paul and he has always given us the best deal without us even having to think twice. Today we got a new lease and we weee so thankful to Paul as he was the one who reached out to us to let us know he had an exceptional deal. Again, the deal he gave us was significantly cheaper than other dealerships and we didn't even hesitate to grab the offer. Also every time we come to pick up the car, Paul has been extremely kind and helpful and is genuinely happy for us for our new car. Would definitely recommend Karland to all our friends and family and would pick them over any dealership any day. Keep up the exceptional service!

**PLEASE NOTE, THEY ARE PERMANTLEY CLOSED & NO LONGER IN BUISNESS**…read moreIt pisses me off they tucked tail & ran,but I'm grateful they are shutdown & can't hurt any more people! These scam artists pray on the vulnerable & those looking for a simple car! Not even 8 months ago I went in for a Honda accord that was for 7 grand & was about to put 2 grand down when they changed their mind & did the old bait & switch raising the price to $13 grand, but oh we have a brand new car that you like, more reliable, great on gas & it's a Toyota! I didn't know what a Mirai was, neither did they, but I was approved on the spot, but had to wait for a second approval on the phone! Next day I found out it isn't a hybrid as I thought & as they claimed, it's a fking hydrogen car that aint shit, IT'S JUNK! By law I had 3 days to return the vehicle & I tried to do that, but the owner of the place was violent over the phone, talking shit & threatening to sue me & I still have the recording! I was nice & courteous & wanted him to take the car back, he kept refusing, then stopped answering my calls! The owner also claimed I got the second approval, he got his money, yet I was told over the phone by the finance lady that somebody will notify me in 3 days to a week, so how the fk the next day he got his money?! Well somehow, he did, & I'm stuck with this brick! Scam artists! Not even a year yet, been 8 months now, money I don't have, I had to change 3 tires that we're old & dry rotted, but they claimed it was new! I still have to change the passenger side! That's about $1300 on 3 tires already! I wonder what name they'll come up with to scam more people! Car Gurus claimed them to be the number one used auto dealership in Orange County, I fell for that shit!

SCAM CITY - BUYERS BEWARE…read more Buckle up, story time. I've been looking for a Lexus SUV for my family for a while. I saw Vision Hankook on Cars.com, and the LX570 was priced very competitively and looked amazing in pics. I spoke with Mateen, who was very eager and friendly, so this gave me high hopes. He also texted me videos and even more pictures, which had me salivating, thinking it was an amazing deal. I WAS WRONG. As I'm coming from San Diego (2 hours south via train), I told him it was important that the car be ready for me to see and that a local mechanic (near the dealership) review it. I would obviously pay for this service. Mateen had no issues with this and was *confident* the car would pass with flying colors - perfect! Our appointment was set for the following day at 11 am. The following morning, I take the day off work and book a train ticket to head up for our mutually agreed appointment, less than 24 hours prior. This is where things go wrong. 3/4 of the way up to our appointment, I received a text: "I apologize for today, I have to cancel, I just found out the owner sent the car to auction yesterday afternoon, it won't be possible to view the car today, it should be back tomorrow, can you come tomorrow?" ABSOLUTELY NOT. But also, why would you take a car to sell at auction, then tell me it will be there tomorrow? Mind you, Mateen had sent me pictures of the car the afternoon prior, so I don't know when this would have happened. I explain that I am on the train and will not cancel the appointment; I will still go to his office, OR I will take an Uber to see the car at the auction. At this point, I am committed. I could sense that scared Mateen a little. He scrambled, said the owner had been notified, and that he would have the car at the dealership by 4 pm that same day. Extremely frustrated by the lack of communication and professionalism, but I've already committed time/money to this journey, so I'd like to see it through. When I arrived at his office, Mateen greeted me very apologetically and had me wait in one of the cubicles next to what looked like a TikTok spam bot center with multiple cellphones ringing and chirping over and over. I informed Mateen that I'd like to speak with the owner and find out where the car was so I could see it at the auction. He said we were in luck! The car was on its way. Great!! 15, 20, 30, 45 minutes go by. I ask Mateen, "Do we have an ETA? If the car isn't coming, I need to book a train home." He says, "Oh, let me get the owner." Out comes another man, whose name I was not able to remember, and he says, "Oh, the car is next door at the mechanic." Weird, it was supposed to be at the auction...? "Yes, it WAS at the auction, but we just got here because we found a small leak in the radiator, and we are replacing it now for you - you can go see it if you want." I AM SO GLAD I LOOKED AT IT.............. HALF OF THE ENGINE WAS OUT (I have pictures) The intake manifold was off the engine, there was dried coolant all over the block and in the intake port itself. This means there was a gasket leak, and it probably overheated. Not only that, the mechanic didn't even have the car on proper jack stands or a lift; the front wheels were off, and the car was sitting on its base suspension on the ground!!! What probably happened was, they KNEW a mechanic would call this out, so they tried buying time to quickly fix it/patch it up so I (or some other sucker) would buy it, not knowing about the ticking time bomb under the hood. As someone who has worked on engines before, I know that whole process takes time, removing the sensors, bolts, manifold, etc. So the car was NEVER at the auction, and they were caught in a lie! After all this, Mateen, knowing I had just caught on to their ruse, has the gall to ask, "So would you like to come back and test-drive tomorrow?" Needless to say, Mateen, I would not... Like I said - BUYER BEWARE

Besides the check engine light coming on about 3 days after i bought it, this past weekend a small ticking noise started in the engine, as i was driving it the oil light came on and the ticking turned into a loud knocking noise. And the car felt like it was going to turn off so i pulled over, turned it off. I got it towed to my house. It doesnt start now. I talked to little Emanuel (bigman on phone though) at usave auto auction after him answering and putting me on hold for 6 minutes till i hung up and called back. He said they are not going to do anything about it. He said "Deal was AS-IS". Which i understand, but 40 days i had the car, "so thats it huh, im on my own" i said. And he replies with a dont give a f*** tone, "YUP". I'm an out of work tow truck driver by trade, wanting to better my life I started to drive for UBER so i can get my own tow truck and start my own company. I was able to borrow $2,500 for a car to start driving with Uber. Such a mistake giving my money to Emmanuel and USAVE AUTO AUCTION. ***Update*** I went in to talk to Juan Carlos the manager. Aparently, there are 2 different companies operating here USAVE AUTO AUCTIONS and ONESTOP AUTO MART with one manager that dont give a fuck JUAN CARLOS. He said the same thing that little emanuel said basically im on my own. I asked JUAN CARLOS to show me receipt what they did before they sold the car he said he couldnt produce any receipts but come back tomorrow he will have them. He said oil was changed. Oil was never changed..it had the originall spark plugs in it. Both these businesses ARE NOT BBB accredited. I know why now. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM EITHER THESE UNSCRUPULOUS COMPANIES. I forgot to mention if you are one day late on payment they WILL START CALLING YOUR REFERENCES AND HARASSING THEM. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL...

I drove from San Diego to see a car, no small feat, test drove it, loved it, pretty much committed, however, a few more cars to see. Asked the salesperson to stay in touch, as did I. A few days pass, I stated I think I wanted the car and asked if I needed to do anything to secure the car and to let me know if I did........... the response I got? "OK"............that was it! Simply an "OK"....what kind of confirmation is that? Wow, so professional! Should have known right then I was in trouble! I immediately followed up with a message that I saw that she had tried to call but DID NOT LEAVE A VOICE MAIL! So, I responded and stated that I saw she tried to reach me but did not leave a VM but wanted to come in and arrange financing, only for her to tell me that the car had been sold...................and then she become defensive and said that it was someone else who had sold it............WOW.............. no professionalism, no communication, no????? And she then told me that she had tried to call me numerous times, total fabricated lies! I am at a loss for words here............take your business elsewhere, this business is not worth dealing with indeed if your experience is even close to what mine was, save your time and your dignity and sanity.

When I called the dealership and spoke to Sam about a truck that I was interested in and came in a few hours later, he greeted me with kindness and immediately made me feel like he wasn't just trying to make another sale. He asked us questions about myself on the test drive and it felt like I was talking to a genuine friend and not a salesman. He was patient, understanding, and helpful through the whole process of what my end goal was and was very transparent about the whole process/vehicle and again didn't make me feel pressured or like i was just somebody he was trying to get a sale out of and get in and get out and it made me want to sign the papers even more. The main point that sold me was the honesty and transparency of the vehicle. He has told me what maintenancewas done n wasnt done.. other dealership would just say what a customer would wanna hear n lies about how good the car was but they had told me the background n history of the car. It meant so much to me and his words were very heartfelt and genuine. Everything else went extremely smooth and I will recommend him to everyone from now on who is looking to buy a vehicle. I am extremely grateful for all that he did, thank you Sam n team autohaus

I bought a used 2006 Toyota Tundra with ~$141K miles. Just a tip for anyone who is buying a car that old - you're going to spend more money to get it up to speed - things wear out no matter what with time. Don and his wife Leyna are a wonderful duo - Don clearly takes a lot of pride in the way he runs his business and Leyna is bright, easy to communicate with and very personable. After purchasing the car, I had noticed issues with the rear door lock actuators and brought it up to Don and Leyna. Honestly, it didn't even occur to me to check because you just assume they worked fine. They were very gracious and offered to replace and fix the issues at a fraction of what it cost me. I think this is extremely generous considering the car was bought "As-is" and they had no responsibility to fix it after I drove it off the lot. I think it speaks volumes of how Don wants his customers to perceive their experience at his dealership and knows that it's a small investment for a continuing relationship. This review is NOT intended to advertise or promise anything on their behalf, but my experience with them was great and they definitely earned this 5 start review. I will definitely keep them in mind in the future should I need another car!
