Came back here again while passing through town, and it was even better than the first time! The hot peppers on the pepper steak is the way to go. Everything was ready when I came to pick up. 10/10. Love this place and wish I could bring it home with me.

So I was told so many times that this spot is THE spot to grab a cheesesteak. Naturally I had to make my way in and give it a shot. I loved the old time feel of the place and the old school style menu's and everything...this is usually a sign of really solid food to come. Unfortunately those two didn't equate here. Not bad, not what everyone said it was going to be. Honestly this just ended up being similar to a pizza shop cheesesteak. The meat was alright but pretty dry, definitely could have used more cheese. The rolls were okay...reminded me of frozen amoroso rolls you get from a broadliner like US Foods. I think people partially love these because they're quite large and partially due to nostalgia from it being a spot they've eaten their whole lives. Certainly wouldn't say it sucked, but it was only okay. I may give them another shot sometime, but it was slow the day I went and plenty of people working so I can't imagine a scenario where I go back and get one so much better.

Great service, and always consistent. A very good example of a Lehigh Valley cheesesteak. Not the best cheesesteak in the land in my opinion, yet still good and consistent. The Italian hoagie is a wonderful value. A large plus a soda for under $13 is a remarkable value!

Visiting from out of town and wanted to try something local with coworkers. This place did not disappoint. We all got the Philly cheesesteak which for this part of town means topped with marina and pickles. It was awesome! We also did the onion rings and curly fries. The whole thing rocked. The staff was super friendly.

I didn't go, but my wife asked if I wanted anything off the menu. I cut meat out of my diet so finding alternatives when eating out sometimes can be a challenge. I can say I haven't eaten meat on a daily or weekly basis for going on 3 years now. Have l slipped and eaten meat?Let that craving for meat consume me. Hell yeah I have, I'm not perfect and I can admit that. So as I'm looking at the menu here at Fegley's B.B.W. I came across their "CHUNK VEGAN STEAK" and asked my wife to order that for me. Now I've had some imitation steaks before, but when my wife came in with this Chunk Vegan Steak. I opened up the container and from just looking at the appearance of this Chunk Steak I was totally taken back and honestly thought this piece of meat was real. I then cut me a piece and proceeded to eat. WOW! Talk about a great tasting vegan piece of steak! I actually told my wife "babe I think they made a mistake and put a real piece of steak in my meal. I was so taken back by the taste of this steak. I offered my daughter a piece and when she ate it she burst my bubble and said she could tell it wasn't real. As a meat eater she has keen taste of real meat. I on the other hand would eat this chunk vegan steak in place of a real steak anytime. If you're ever hungry and want to eat out and aren't a meat eater. I would recommend this Vegan Chunk Steak at Fegley's Bethlehem Brew Works to anyone who isn't a red meat eater. Now as I rant about this vegan chunk steak the whole meal the asparagus the potatoes were delicious. The people in the group said their food was delicious also. I called the next day and had to express myself and compliment them on this fantastic fake steak. I'll definitely be going back for some more! This place does food the right way!

However, the overall experience was disappointing due to slow service, lack of communication, and issues with the food. We visited after the Lehigh Graduate Commencement Ceremony and were seated from 1:30-3:00 PM. Our server, Younise, only checked on us roughly every 15 minutes. It then took 45 minutes for pretzels and another 30 minutes for our 2 entrees. While we overheard that the kitchen was behind, this was never communicated to us directly, which made the long wait more frustrating. There was also an issue with my order. I ordered the Caesar salad wrap (Julius' Chicken Dance $14), but I was brought a Caesar salad with chicken ($3 up-charge) instead. The server did not offer to have the kitchen correct it or provide an alternative. After discussing it, I eventually asked if she could bring me a tortilla so I could make the wrap myself. A 15% discount was applied, which I appreciated, but the bill still listed the incorrect meal and reflected the higher-priced salad instead of the wrap I originally ordered. The burger was also underwhelming, as the cheese was not melted. For a meal that came to over $60 for pretzels, a burger, a salad item, and one drink, I expected better communication, food quality, and customer service. The ambiance was great, but the entrees and service unfortunately did not match the setting

Unfortunately, there was a strong cold draft at floor level, leaving our feet uncomfortably cold throughout the meal. The hostess was sweet and greeted us with a smile. The food service was unremarkable. Our waiter was not particularly friendly nor personable. The drinks were a weak start. The red sangria was poor. The bourbon cocktail was an odd mix of bourbon, apple cider, and other elements--an awkward, Frankenstein-style whiskey sour that simply didn't work. Worst of all, both drinks were served in thin plastic cups, which immediately cheapened the entire experience. I ordered the falafel sandwich and specifically requested a toasted bun. It arrived not just room temperature, but cold. I sent it back, and it returned burning hot... the bottom soggy... literally too hot to pick up... with no browning or color change, clearly microwaved. Microwaving is not toasting. At that point, the sandwich was inedible. I removed the bun entirely and ate just the falafel, which was dry and largely tasteless. At this point I knew coming back to this restaurant was a mistake. Food timing was another issue. The dishes took roughly 45 minutes to arrive after the drinks, possibly longer. We were all getting annoyed and what started out well when we first walked in turned negative. I wasn't impressed on my first visit years ago... and this second visit confirmed it. Between the poor drinks, cheap plastic cups, ridiculously long wait (with no explanation nor apology), and careless food execution, there's no reason to return.
