It's refreshing to find a storage facility where you don't feel like you're being taken advantage of. The staff are helpful and professional across multiple locations, and the reviews that led me here seem well-deserved. Self storage can be a racket, so I'm grateful to have found a place that's fair, transparent, and customer-friendly. I went to pick up a truck that I had a reservation for. I was with a friend and added him as an…read morealternate driver. However, he had license that had expired a few months ago and a paper from DMV showing the renewal. The computer didn't validate his license so I asked to remove him as a driver. Then my whole reservation was rejected and canceled. I was frantic as I needed a truck and had always gone to UHaul, like for over two decades. It turns out that because my friend owed money to UHaul for a rental that was stolen and returned damaged, a rental he had bought insurance for, where there was a dispute over the insurance coverage, a rental that had NOTHING to do with me, they would not let ME rent a truck. I called and spoke to someone who informed me that I would NEVER be able to rent a truck from then until the issue with my friend was resolved. We are not married and never were, we are not and never were boyfriend/girlfriend, and had and have no financial ties whatsoever. It did not matter. THEY REFUSE TO RENT TO ME BECAUSE MY FRIEND OWES THEM MONEY!!! I will be taking legal action against them after I finish this move as no form of discrimination is allowed in the state of California. After that, I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY WHOSE POLICIES ARE UNFAIR, MOST LIKELY ILLEGAL, AND DISCRIMINATORY ON THE BASIS OF WHO YOU ASSOCIATE WITH. They have a moisture problem. Both elevators on my side I need to get to my unit are broken and could not get up to my unit. So it's not ADA compliant. They also do not have carts for you to use. They also have been playing a fun little game charging us $12 for not receiving my proof of renters insurance which I have provided multiple times. This facility is ran so poorly. Your stuff gets so dirty and they could care less to take care of their property. We are planning to get out as soon as possible. I rented two 10x27 drive up units at the end of July 2025 to only discover mice droppings in both…read moremy units in August 2025. Even though I informed management right away they didn't fix the drywall nor did they call an exterminator. I was forced to buy mice traps and mice deterrent boxes. The results were disgusting, lots of mice were caught on the sticky traps. The negligence of this property is just beyond words. They shouldn't have rented the units to me in the condition they are. The drywall is falling apart providing an entry point, the units weren't even cleaned properly although they claimed they cleaned them, the facility is infested with mice and poorly maintained. On top of that they double the rates every 3 months for what?? The units are falling apart, dilapidated, dark and dingy; it's a very old facility with very little upgrades. I would strongly advise against storing anything at this facility because I can't stress enough that the entire facility is infested with mice which is a health hazard; mice carry hantavirus and the plague. I am assuming that all my belongings are going to be damaged due to this. This is god awful for anyone to go through. There isn't anything positive I can say here. I spent thousands moving my stuff into this storage facility.
