These guys were definitely one of the easiest movers I have used! Their office was incredibly responsive and accommodated all of our requests when we had to make some last minute changes. We had Diego and Siraj and would definitely recommend them to anyone. They were gentle with everything even though some things were heavy and awkward. We had a tight concrete stairway so I was fully expecting some dings, but they didn't hit the wall once. Overall super efficient and great work for one of the better rates I was quoted. read more

These are the best movers! They responded to my inquiry so quick, and were able to book me within less than a week of our move. (We use them every time but I had procrastinated on booking sooner). The movers are all so kind and professional. They take excellent care of every item in the house and come prepared with every moving supply. My biggest compliment towards them is how quick and efficient they are! There isn't any lagging, or laziness with them ever. Movers Ralphel and Kevin were great: fast and friendly. The admin./owner -person who answered phones and talked w/me, think Alan, he was very responsive and gave great quote on move price. Only reason I give 4 out of 5 stars is because my move was originally scheduled for Monday but got rescheduled last minute think about 30m. Before my scheduled move time to the next day. I let him/Alan know that was disappointing as I had to take off an additional day off work. I am not sure if me changing the move time from 9a to 11a the day before my move made a difference in addition to some rain the day of the original move but it would have been nice to either give me more notice or give discount for the last minute reschedule. I let him know when I had to reschedule the time and also saw weather would be rainy if that was a problem and he said no so I did give the option to change move time day before/Sunday. Anyways, aside from the last minute move change when the move actually happened the movers were great and price was right! read more

Hello Everyone who is wondering who has used a good moving company. At about 1 am, 2 nights ago, I put in a request for local moving. Plus the fact that you need to move ASAP, I woke up at 7am and Carlsbad was the first one to answer with a reasonable quote and detailed it out and throughout the next day and today - moving is done. Carlsbad Square Moving was absolutely great, wrapped everything, nothing was a problem and it was done within 4 hours with a very happy result. Nice men, strong and did a great job. Definitely would Not recommend. Hired them for a simple move - cherry wood desk, matching credenza, 3 chairs and a couple of bookshelves. Movers arrived in an unmarked truck, with a faulty lift gate. Mover fell backward off lift gate along with our desk. Thankfully mover seemed ok, but the desk was ruined! They offered to take an hour off the move time. How was this supposed to compensate us for the loss of a very expensive desk? Later, Allen offered to refund a portion of move, but never did! I am out the cost of the move and a beautiful desk. read more

I would give negative stars if I could. They called to cancel on us when they should have arrived to start the move. We have everything scheduled, packed and ready to go. Even if they contacted us the night before, it would make it easier for us to reschedule things. This just totally unprofessional and not acceptable. I hired these individuals based on the quote through our conversation prior to the phone call to reserve a time and date. once I spoke with Angelo to confirm my appointment and time on Friday he said an additional person, which increases my hourly rate, would be needed, for the same job we spoke about through yelp messaging. I should have known then not to move forward. To my understanding, the three men showed up to my location to take down my beds and move the items did not bring tools!!! We certainly do not have the tools. I verified that they would bring EVERYTHING to the job. It took them an additional 2 hours to do the job. Once they showed up they claimed to have been waiting outside for 25minuets. I said I was fine with paying for the 25minuets, but the additional hours I was not okay with due to the pace the men were moving and the fact they wasted over an hour waiting for us to fine tools to break down our own beds. Additional to these problems, We asked them to move the umbrella outside, they forgot to take the base! THE WHOLE REASON TO MOVE THE OUTSIDE UMBRELLA. I spoke with Angelo and he said he would take care of the difference. When I spoke with my husband about the payment, we still ended up paying for the additional time it took for them to make their own mistakes. I have tried calling Angelo back to discuss this and left a message, still no response. Seems like a nice guy, but the service at the end of the day is not up to par. Sorry. read more

We hired a team of movers to help move some furniture and various other items across town. Nick, Ali and Islam arrived on time and were efficient and professional with their work. With a three hour minimum we were able to fit in a bit of rearranging and staging of other items for the next move session later in the month, as well as some items moved around the house. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Carlsbad Square Moving, I would give 0 stars if I could. We used them for my boyfriend's move and the driver of the moving truck damaged the landlord's property. We were told by the driver that Square would be taking care of everything, only to be given a repair bill a week later by the landlord. We tried to come to a resolution with Square and we were told that they would not pay it at all even though they were completely at fault for this accident and we have pictures of the damage and truck license plate. We've continued to call and email them and all has gone unanswered. I regret choosing Square moving and wished I picked a more honest company to deal with. read more
