The food was good but not memorable to us. We did appreciate the cafeteria style serving. Very convenient for a lunch rush option. The meal was big enough for us to share and be full. Hubby did get a side of shrimp to try. That was his favorite. Mine was the plantains.

    Will be a line !!

A great meat & 3 with generous portions. Seen this place several times and they had a good crowd, I know now why!! Food was good!!

First time trying and food was really good and worth price! I spent about $18 because I purchased an extra side ($4 greens); the meal could be split into two if you eat smaller portions. Reason for 4 star: Air conditioning was broken, very limited seating, some pieces of beef were a bit too tough and greens were a tad too salty. I also encourage them to expand the non-soda drink offerings. Overall would check out again and recommend!

I came here for lunch a few times its not expensive, and you get served quickly. The food is alright, in my opinion, nothing to really rave about. I usually get the spicy chicken with rice and beans and a side of salad. The portions are big. It's a small restaurant with limited seating, and I wouldn't sit there to eat because the line is usually in the way of the tables. I don't like being crowded. But if you want something quick to eat, stop here and grab an affordable meal.

Order: - Chicken + white rice + french fries + house green salad (5/5) Pros: - Great tasting food - Very large portions - Lot of portion and sides to choose from Cons: - Seating is outdoors due to Covid Overall: Great tasting Dominican food if you're looking for a quick bite in the area

Jerk Chicken was very Disappointing. No Hot Pepper infused at all. Might as well call it Pimento Herb Chicken.

PROS 1. Baked Chicken is Flavorful and Tender. 2. Shrimp Stew is Delicious. 3. Mashed Eggplant is Flavorful and cooked well. 4. String beans are cooked well. 5. Baked Mac n Cheese is cooked well. CONS 1. Hours of Operation on Google need to be Updated.. 2. Chicken Stew needs more Flavor. 3. Jerk Chicken needs more Spicy Flavor. It was Very light. Either go hard, semi hard or scrap that option out of the menu. Maybe try making Curry Chicken?

Jerk chicken w/ mac & cheese, string beans & collard greens
    Michelle K.

Everything i got was amazing. The chicken was fall off the bone tender & very well seasoned. I wouldnt call it jerk chicken by any means but it was still well seasoned and succulent. I dont usually love mac & cheese but i realllly liked theirs. It was also seasoned so it wasnt just noodle & cheese, and it was a baked mac & cheese so there was some nicely browned cheese as well. The collard greens were tender and had a slight pickled taste which help cut through some of cheese & chicken. Greenbeans were cooked so they were still crunchy ( a bit too crunchy for me) but gave the meal great texture!

lids don't fit. be careful or your food will end up in the plastic bag.

Great food. the lids don't cover the bowl! I'm tired of my food constantly falling into the plastic bag because their lids don't fit on the bowl! see pic. please change your bowls and lids!!

Food was just ok. And they charge for hot sauce? Weird Honestly, I was surprise how mediocre it was compared to the reviews. Service was fine. The place seemed kinda dirty. I might go back for a quick lunch, but I don't live super close, so I guess I'll just leave it at, just ok.

    Fish Combo $13.88 with tax
    Wesley K.

Not bad! Their food is decent for the price. The issue I have is with the way the restaurant is managed. I ordered the fish combo ($13.88) with 3 sides and the protein. All of a sudden they ran out and I had to wait more like 10 minutes. Fine I am late back from lunch, but I can imagine customers in this area will get upset for that. The fish combo is not mentioned that the fish is deep fried. I would've gotten something healthier like salmon instead. Also, for the three sides, rice counts as a side as I thought you get a base separately. The menu prices include tax already so the number of what you see is what you get. Finally, as a previous reviewer mentioned, the lids do not fit the bowl shape. Unless one is eating in, any to go orders need to be carried carefully otherwise a spill can occur. The staff was super friendly and apologetic about the wait which I was fine with. It's the small operational executions that make or break a restaurant.

    Chicken, rice, plantains, and fries.

Great Spanish food. It's hard to find food like this downtown. It's amazing a great price and selections. So much flavor!

Replacing pickles and mayo with red onion and mint chutney? Mental. Chef is a straight-up genius for that one. Grabbed the mini samosas on the side and washed the fire down with a Thums Up. That soda hits way harder than a Coke--sharp, spicy, and high voltage. Shoutout to Eric for holding it down and helping me navigate the spice. A classic NYC hole-in-the-wall, this place is almost designed to be missed. Blink, check your phone, or dodge one too many pedestrians, and you've walked right past it. Try not to, it's worth the stop. Pricing sits a little on the higher side for a combo, but let's be honest - this is New York. The burgers are bold, satisfying, and built to impress. I went for the chicken and veggie sandwiches, both dressed with a mango lime sauce that genuinely were very flavorful. The tomato aioli on the side was another win. And the fries? Crispy, golden, and dusted with a Cajun-meets-Indian spice blend that somehow makes complete sense and zero sense at the same time - in the best way. Rowdy Rooster is a must-visit: come ready for real Indian heat and flavor.

We hopped in line but waited less than a minute because the service was incredibly fast. I managed to snatch a table within 30 seconds, and my husband got our food in less than two minutes. The service was fantastic! The food was actually really good--we got the chicken sandwich, which features three chicken tenders with lettuce and their special sauce, served with french fries and a Coke. Everything was delicious and very well priced. Getting a seat and having such quick service made everything work out perfectly. I also loved the ambiance of the store, they play cool music and the decor is great, especially the disco balls!

I ordered the three finger combo. What came out was just plain sad looking. Tiny chicken fingers, barely cooked fries. The Raising Cane's sauce was good but the vessels to that sauce were so lacking. The breading on these chicken fingers was nothing special and again, so so small. Service was fast at least, but the place itself was dirty and virtually every table needed a wipe down. I know, I know, it's Penn Station, it's supposed to be a little grimy. Honestly, if these chicken fingers weren't so tiny and my fries were properly cooked I could deal with a little grime. But come on.

I was surprised to find that it's a ghost kitchen. You walk behind the coffee shop and order from a kiosk with many other restaurants to order from as well. My order took 15 minutes and within the estimated time frame that they gave you. Once my order was ready, I clicked to open via text and the locker popped open with my bag --viola! I ordered the Claude the Claw ($18.99) with medium spicy sauce on the side. The sandwich is pretty huge. I like how they wrapped the sandwich around the claw sticking out from the bottom. I did take it out of the wrapper for the picture, but suggest you keep the wrapper on as it gets messy to eat. The spices and flavor is delicious and the chicken is crispy and tender. It's a great Nashville hot chicken sandwich overall. While the claw is insta-worthy, it's not quite worth the extra $4 (plus you can't really even eat it, so it's all for show). I'd suggest getting the claw for your first time, but I'd get the regular sandwich in the future for the lower price.

It's tucked inside a building behind the coffee shop that Google Maps directs you to, and seating is very limited.

"Matter of fact, I'll take four chicken fingers!"…read more You can't visit NYC without hitting up the massive, neon-lit Raising Cane's flagship location in Times Square. This location has cute Raising Cane's merchandise. The energy inside is wild, but the real question was: does the food actually live up to the massive hype? I came straight here chasing that legendary crispy, saucy bite--and it did not disappoint. The chicken fingers were piping hot, incredibly tender, and practically standard-issue vessels for that iconic Cane's Sauce. The classic crinkle-cut fries were solid, but the real sleeper hit is always that buttery, pillowy Texas toast. When you assemble the ultimate bite--chicken, sauce, toast, and a fry-- it's devine.
