It was very filling and yummy. They are a good size to share if you can't eat the whole thing. The horchata was super sweet. So sweet that it over powered that classic horchata flavor. Nice service, and the food was good. My only regret was not to order a larger portion. The restaurant was very clean inside and many items were on display. The only issue that I had was communicating my order. Even though it was slightly difficult to order, that doesn't mean the order couldn't be accomplished. Ok first of all let me say this was the first time coming here with my building trades colleagues!! They recommended this place before to me!! The place is small but comfortable spot to eat !! Service was ok just 2 people working !! I had a carnitas burrito which was pretty good!! I'm real picky when it comes to carnitas!! I can't believe I never heard of this place before. A coworker of mine told me about it since it's near my job. They serve carnitas only hence the name. Ladies working here are super sweet and you can tell they put in a lot of work in effort into the food. I really liked how they give you every part of the pig you want when you want good carnitas. Meat was very flavorful but the real kicker is the salsa you put on top which really gives the food that oomf you need to pair with the tortillas. Beans and rice were solid as well and the combo was very reasonably priced. I will be coming back for lunch. Go check it out! read more

We had a great experience ordering catering for my son's birthday party. We were referred and went in to try the food first. Tucked away in a small shopping center. The woman gave us a free taco to sample with the salsa. We did order for 50 people (25lbs) and it came with the catering size rice & beans + 2 salsas (SO good). It was around $350. I think ppl nowadays are expecting ppl to kiss there ass and this place isn't willing to do that. I was there yesterday and I had the best customer service. My wife was giving a free sample of chicharrón. The only thing I do have an issue with was the hot sauce that I bought. The hot sauce was left out last night. I noticed that the lid was full of gas bc the lid almost popped off and there were bubbles almost as if it was fermenting. We're Mexican we leave stuff out for a day or two. I have been looking for a shop that specializes in Mexican fried pork for a while now, and yes I found it! Located on waterloo off the 99 fwy in the Starbucks parking lot. Been wanting some carnitas for a while and had seen this place while driving by a couple times. Decided to buy a couple lbs of carnitas to go. I opted for the buy 2lbs and get 1 free. Total was $23 and some change. It was pretty empty when I went to get some food but they did offer indoor and outdoor dining. Overall the carnitas were pretty good, not dry at all like some places have it. Only gripe I have is that they were a tad bit on the salty side but you usually pair carnitas with tortillas or rice and beans so it wasn't too bad but just eating them alone was a little too salty. I'd definitely go back for the carnitas and maybe try out some of the other stuff on the menu. If you're in the area and want some tender pork carnitas I'd give this place a shot. read more

This new restaurant just opened a week ago but has had its coming soon sign up for a few months now at least! I was always looking forward to this place and had expectations of pork rind and tell you what they didn't disappoint! They seem to make their fried pork skin fresh in the morning and have it on display in their heated glass case next to the register. Name checks out but a little disappointed Ted they didn't have more pig and el pastor wasn't one of the meat options for burritos, only asada, pollo, and carnitas were options for the burrito meat. What did surprise me is their habanero sauce and gosh is it yummy. Now I'm a spicy eating guy that's been around my hot sauces from habanero ghost pepper Thai chili Carolina reaper and Trinidad scorpion concoctions. Most Mexican places usually offer the green or red sauce that never really did the trick for me to give a kick. El Rincón went a step above and offers habanero sauce and I knew I just had to try and it did not disappoint. It gave me the kick I love but at a satisfying level not to overpower or put my tongue at the mercy of gargling milk tea. Be warned it's still habanero so it is spicy, but for me it was a comfortable spice that is hard to find at most average places or taco trucks. They have your typical grab and go good as well as combos and catering so if you like what you eat you can order more for your super bowl party or something haha. Staff is nice and since it's just opened the place is pretty clean. Hopefully they can keep up the service and cleanliness. No dine in yet unfortunately but I think it's a good thing.
