*New Owners, New name* Have been coming here for years and years prior. Has always been our go to. Things change I understand but to be charged more for a drink and 1/4 is missing right off the bat it's unfair. This happened to each drink that was ordered. Time to find a new go to.

I had the chilli Verde burrito had sweet taste to it. The wife had a very lightly turkey and bacon sandwich with fries. There was 4 thin slices of turkey . The fries were fresh hot. The service was blah. They seemed like they didn't want to be here not friendly. Not a cheap place for lunch.

    Crepes with Fresh Fruit!

New Management is great. New name is "La Patrona" Got some crepes, fruit was fresh and ripe. The filling was phenomenal super rich and creamy. Good coffee too. Pretty ambiance would come again!!!

Not a fancy resturant, but nice and clean for a casual dining experience. The food is average (the portion size and price is fair). Servers are always nice and helpful. Pros: *Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner served all day *Affordable *Kid friendly * Plenty of inside and outdoor patio seating. *Large menu selection *They have small televisions at bar and others placed throughout the restaurant *Nice size servings *plenty of parking out front *Blended strawberry margarita 6/10 (always a hit or miss) *Chicken taco plate 7/10 *Chips 10/10 *Salsa 10/10

Camarones Calientes. Not very spicy or flavorful surprisingly.

I had mixed feelings about this place. I opted for the Camarones Calientes plate, which was a substantial size and very filling for the price. However, I lost interest as I started eating it because there really wasn't much flavor to it. It lacked the flavor profile to elevate it from filling to enjoyable. It also wasn't spicy at all even though the name suggests it was. I didn't have a terrible time here. The service was nice and the other food I sampled from my family was also passible, but nothing that left a lasting impression or longing for me to return.

Great food, great pricing and service is phenomenal . Location is clean, tons of parking, and a really good size

not carnitas express, even though building and menu says carnitas express. will not except carnitas express gift cards. rude ownership!

    Not what I ordered x2.

I liked this place better for lunch than for dinner. Tried dinner there last night. Ordered a 3-item combo and the waitress asked twice to verify - it was 2 tacos and a chicken tamale. She brought me 2 tacos and a chili relleno. She replaced it with 2 tacos and what appeared to be a spinach enchilada (pix). Then she brought just 2 tacos "to get started". Quite awhile later I finally got a tamale, along with a huge plate of rice and beans. No apology for all the hassle. I'd almost give 3 stars, except the portions are HUGE and the chips and salsa are really good (though greasy). I feel the prices are on the high end...but it can be justified for the large servings.

Great food. Marisela was outstanding with service she provided. Making sure we were having a great meal. A+ service from this lady.

Last time, my fiancée and I came in on our engagement day to celebrate with brunch and were turned away at the door because we had iced coffees from next door. Real classy way to treat customers. Management never responded to that review. Shocker. So against my better judgment, I gave them another shot this morning. Here's what happened: I have a gluten allergy. I told my waitress. I specifically asked her to check whether one of the menu items was gluten-free -- which she did -- and I clearly asked for my toast on a separate plate so my wife could have it. Simple request. Clear communication. Done. Food came out with bread sitting directly on top of everything on my plate. When I pointed out the mistake and reminded them of my allergy, the person who delivered the food had the audacity to respond with an irritated "I guess we are going to have to remake the food." You messed up the order. The attitude is completely backwards. Then my waitress came back to tell me she "didn't know" about my allergy. I stated it twice and had her look something up because of it. Either she didn't write it down, or the kitchen ignored it entirely. Either way -- a gluten allergy isn't a preference, it's a health issue. First plate took 15 minutes. Remake took another 15. While sitting outside waiting, we overheard our waitress telling another table their order had also been messed up by the kitchen. So it's not just us. Let's be honest about what The Mill serves: basic breakfast. Eggs, bacon, potatoes. This isn't a Michelin-starred tasting menu. It's breakfast. And you still managed to get it wrong twice in one visit. The "breakfast pizza" I've tried before wasn't good either. And the apple chicken sausage? It tastes like wet dog food -- I don't know what's in that but it should not be on the menu. To their credit, they remade the food and our waitress was pleasant despite everything. The hal-o-penyo sauce was genuinely good. That's it. That's the entire list of positives. The real issue is systemic. The kitchen staff is either disorganized or resentful about their own mistakes. Communication between the floor and the kitchen is nonexistent. Management clearly doesn't care -- they didn't respond to my last review, and nothing has changed. A restaurant that can't handle allergy requests for a scrambled eggs order is not a restaurant that takes its customers seriously. I gave you two chances. You burned both. I won't be back, and I'll be making sure my friends and family know exactly what to expect here.

This time I decided to try the bacon eggs Benedict and was unfortunately a little disappointed. For those unfamiliar, eggs Benedict is typically an English muffin topped with a poached egg and a creamy hollandaise sauce. I was expecting the egg yolk to be runny when cut into, but it turned out to be fully hard-boiled instead . The hollandaise had a nice flavor and good acidity, but it seemed slightly broken. That said, the service was awesome and very attentive, which I really appreciated. Not sure if I'd visit again though.

I HAD THE BEST FISH OF MY LIFE HERE!…read more The photo might not do it justice, but holy moly - I seriously had a life changing moment eating the striped bass here. It was cooked to absolute perfection with the bones separating right off to indulge to the fullest extent. They tell you it takes 30 mins to cook, which is well worth the wait. The skin was perfectly crispy and the seasoning was to die for. The meat was juicy and I couldn't stop eating it alongside the garlic yogurt. It also came with a side of chickpeas and summer squash. The cocktails were a nice break away from all the wine in Temecula - but I wished the drinks would be punchier and more creative. The charred cauliflower was a nice order, though it was too "raw" and therefore dry. I think it'd be better lightly fried to lock in some juice. Service was fantastic, especially as the server is the one that pushed us to get the fish. The ambiance is fantastic; we stayed inside but the outside is beautiful. Overall, I can't believe that fish; I hope to try it again when I revisit the area.

Brunch lasts until 2pm and then from 2pm to 245pm they serve only appetizers. Lmao. Thats certainly interesting. Aesthetically this place is gorgeous. I love that they are dog friendly and it wasnt too hot today at the patio. I got the bloody mary to start and it was pretty good. The bacon in it was amazing, however, it didnt taste like 2 shots. The drink was thick but the flavor was still good. I got avocado toast with smoked salmon. This very small meal was 20$. I got a lox bagel and 4 huge pieces of smoked salmon with capers and a side of avocado a few days ago in Vegas on the strip and that was 16$. Sooooooo... how is this justifiable? Anyways, I also ordered a diet coke and they came out with a mini can. Talk about why this place is called "small" barn. Lol! The server stated the can is super small bc its only 2$. Thats just silly. Just get the bigger can and charge me 3 bucks for it. Thats fair in my humble opinion. 4$ for two mini cans is wonky to me. Alas, these are not the reasons why this place originally got a 2 star from me. It was the tomatoes on my avocado toast. They taste spoiled, old, and mushy. It made my stomach hurt a bit. As for the salmon, it tasted like it smelled, funky. Why i ended up giving this place a 3 instead of 2 stars? Bc their creme brulee was the BEST creme brulee I've ever had. It was so luscious, creamy, and it felt like these are the kinds of desserts GODS eat! It was amazing! My server was friendly and talkative with me up until the end. She said "have a good day" in an oddly, irritated way when I paid with my card. Oh wells. Ill come here for the desserts! And perhaps ill give other things a try
