Absolutely appalled when I returned home with our food. Would you serve this to a guest in the restaurant? Absolutely not. This is what I returned home to completely untouched with my chorizo and eggs. They didn't even fill the bottom portion with an actual meal. Nothing makes me feel more upset then feeling like I got ripped off on food. I can get more from a local shop for half the price and believe me there are several around. There's two Carnitas Express in Murrieta. One on Madison and the other on Hancock. They are both the same business, but not in service. The Hancock location could use some customer service training from the staff at the Madison location. The service was so bad, my wife and I walked out. The service at the Madison Carnitas Express was "Top Notch". Brianna welcomed us with open arms and a friendly smile. To the only white server girl, you SUCK!!! Why in the world are you serving people?? You have no customer service skills! You never smile! You are very rude! I came here today Sunday with my 3 kids. I asked to be seated in the shade, which the table was partly shaded. We waited for 15 min not one waitresses came to our table to at the least greet us! It was getting hotter as we waited so a table opened up that was full shade and that bitch white girl server with no name tag said we couldn't sit there people were waiting! I said we were first and I asked for a table in the shade! So I stood there for a minute hoping she would do the right thing and clean the table and seat us! I went to another Mexican restaurant that lets you dine inside and where I get treated with respect! The crazy white girl server didn't give me any respect and she needs to be fired!! I have been here serval times and she always is rude!! I will never go back to this restaurant again! Me and my family came here on a Sunday morning. We got chilaquiles, carne asana burrito, crunchy chicken taco and huevos rancheros. We placed a phone order and waited less than five minutes after arriving and paying for our food. When we got home, they forgot the tortillas for the huevos rancheros. This was not the first time they messed up one of our orders. But part of the problem is we don't fully check the orders before we leave. So that is something we would have to do now instead of giving 100% trust when we order to go. The food itself is always delicious and that's why we keep coming back. Love the ambiance, it's very relaxing. The menu has huge variety whether you want Mexican or American. There salsa is awesome and there's a salsa bar. Now onto what I ordered. I had the bacon omelette with egg whites. You get to also choose two sides and there are a bunch! One of the best omelette ever. This is one of those places that becomes like the bar on Cheers. Everyone knows your name, they know what you would like to eat and drink and they genuinely seem happy to see you. We have been coming here for the last 3 months for Taco Tuesday and are never disappointed (unless all the seats at the bar are full). The drinks are strong and tasty, the food is always fresh and delicious and the staff working there is friendly and attentive (especially Maria, Cyrise, Mitch and Hector Jr.). "Nice girls, who try" is just not enough when so many other options exist with fresh food and well supervised staff. But I hear good things about their happy hour. The atmosphere is OK, they try to play of that they are a fancier place than they actually are. The food was pretty bland and without flavor. My margarita came without any garnish or cream. People eat with their eyes first with drinks. The menu consists of some breakfast and standard Mexican dishes. For the price and the food quality, you'd probably be better going to any 24/7 Mexican fast food joint and taking the food home and it still might be better than this place. I used to go here all the time when they first opened...the food was good and the prices were great for the portions they were putting on the plate...however, over time I noticed a few things happening. First off, it seemed that I could never get a good waiter/waitress because everyone was always NEW...meaning no one stayed around in this job environment longer than a week or so...then the food happened. The food slowly started tasting older and older the more I came back. That's when it happened. I went in a couple of weeks ago with my kids and pregnant wife to get the Matador (great carne for the price) but something was off. It was stone cold. the entire burrito felt as if it came out of the fridge WHOLE and someone forgot to reheat it because it came out in UNDER 4 minutes after ordering. I sliced it in half to feed half to my pregnant wife but it was stone cold all the way through....but the meat was cooked? I'm not talking chilled....I'm talking COLD. CHILLED. So, I asked the waitress about it and she decided to tell me that the lettuce was the reason the insides were stone cold....and the cheese was unmelted...and still almost icy on the meat but still dark grey from being cooked from before... So, I decided to give it another go but I should have left. The MANAGER then came over and started the same explanation, so I explained to her that is not possible. THEN she said it. She started telling me that since I already cut into my burrito I couldn't send it back! I cut her off and just said plainly, "NOPE...". She stared at me and said she would get me a "fresh one". She sent back the same one microwaved and rewrapped in a new tortilla...rediculous. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. DON'T GET SICK EATING HERE. read more

When I received it, it was like it had been literally sitting back there for a for 5 hours at room temperature. And then when I explain to her it was cold she had an attitude I'm sorry if you don't want to work find someone else that will it did bring back another one it was good.
