Always looking for a new taco spot & couldn't go wrong with the high rating & 1000+ reviews ! With a little over 20 minute drive from my house, not too bad. I was surprised to see that there is a small lot located in the back which was great, I was prepared to park on the street but didn't need to. Inside the dining area had its nostalgic mexican charm - dingy florescent lighting, red saltillo tiles, and colorful papel picado was hung on the ceiling. There was booths instead of chairs which I appreciated. I could tell this place has been here for a minute and the walls had history. Couldn't wait to get the food ! It's easier to order if you can speak Spanish (thanks to my hubby) but no problem if you can't. We got 10 carne asada tacos, large horchata & a carne asada burrito (no beans). Carne asada tacos: wow !! these had SO much flavor. the meat was not dry at all !! the tortillas also were packed with flavor, not too greasy or not dry !! just so perfect. Lime and green salsa was the best on these. Horchata: 4/10. I just wish this was creamier. It was a bit watery for my liking & all I could think about was the taste of big red gum when drinking it. It wasn't terrible but not the best, but for a little over $3 for a large price is very reasonable. Carne Asada Burrito: This was for my husband as I'm not really into burritos. I did end up trying a bite and WOW... if I were to get a burrito I would order here !! The carne asada was packed with flavor, & reminded me of a schwarma wrap it was so so so tasty. I never tasted a burrito like that before !!! Overall, would definitely return !! Love how it's 24 hours and didn't seem to be in a sketchy area (aka I wouldn't be nervous to come here by myself at night haha).

A childhood classic and now an adulthood staple. I will always love carnitas michoacán nachos and carne asada. It's just sooooooOoOoo good. Wash it down with an orange bang, and you will leave satisfied. Don't miss out on anything that has their carne asada, and the pastor/cabeza are also fire. What's also awesome about this spot, is that it's open 24/7. Service is quick and to the point. The dining room can be a bit grimy at times, but you don't have to eat there.

Came here last night after a Dodger game with my brother. I haven't been back since my clubbing days, but this spot still hits the same way, just with higher prices. We ordered the Nacho Especial and loaded it up with buche, lengua, tripa, and cabeza. At $14 for the base plus $4 per meat, this platter ended up a beast. Piled high with nacho cheese, jalapeños, and grilled onions, it was everything you'd want after a game or a late night. To wash it down, we grabbed a large Jamaica and Tamarindo. Total bill: $41. Definitely not the "20-something bucks" I remember from back in the day, but the quality is still worth it. Service was on the slower side, but honestly it looked like only three guys were holding it down, so I can't even blame them. They were hustling. The ambiance is chill. You can actually have a conversation without yelling, and they've got a TV running movies in the background. Parking is the toughest part since the lot is small and street spots are scarce, but that's LA for you. Overall, the meats were flavorful and cooked just right, especially the lengua and tripa. Even with the price jump, I'd come back for another round.

Don't try their menudo it is digusting.

Just so you know. While I'm writing this review I'm having stomach pain. I really thought this place would be good. I saw a lot of people (raza) and I decided to stop by and give it a try. Perro coraje termine haciendo. Hasta chorro me va a pegar. The menudo came with frijoles??? the menudo can that you buy at the store tastes better. Health Inspection should pay a visit. The kitchen looks worst than a public restroom. I'll never come back. La neta raza im not being ojete it's disgusting.

I've definitely need to go with my intuition and not believe the tiktok hype. Tried this place for the first time not impressed the lady screaming the orders out instead of letting me know where to order let me stand their and figure it out for myself. I ordered a tacos and an order of nachos. The asada taste like shredded roast beef and the tripa was crunchy and dry. The lenga by far was the best of the few I tried but the nachos not the greatest accompanied by only meat, nacho cheese and some vinegary Jalapeños. Not sure if I'd recommend but maybe at least give it a shot once.

Was really craving nachos and this place seemed promising at first and wanted to give it a fair chance, despite after looking at the reviews. However, I do agree with the one star reviews. When I got there, it already seemed like they did not want to help me. When I was ordering they were very short and snarky. Its a shame too because I like that it's 24 hours and the seating area was quite nice. But yeah, very disappointed with their nachos. They asked if I wanted everything and all I got inside were chips, cheese, meat, and jalapeños. I thought there was going to be guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, etc but nope! For $15?! I could've made this at home for half the price. And yes, only got two small sauce containers...for a whole box of chips. Maybe I'll go back and try something else but definitely do not recommend the nachos!! Save yourself the $15!

This is the place to be for all late night hunger. Gets very packed when there's a Dodgers game! Loaded carne asada fries/nachos are simply the best. One of the best carne asada in town! Their red salsa had the perfect heat and is flavorful and phenomenal.

    Asada and pastor tacos
    Steve S.

The tacos were pretty good. I tried asada and pastor tacos and both were flavorful and on point. The spot itself is a late night hole in the wall in a so-so part of town with very average service. The tacos are good though.

Here is a pic of the al pastor burrito with rice and beans.
    Vizion B.

Today I was hungry for al pastor burrito. I went there after work. Got in line and ordered the al pastor. I ordered 3 cause my brother wants two also. I took a bite and it as rice and beans in it. I remember it never came with rice and beans. I took another bite and sure enough it came with it. Not much of a rice a bean eater. I was so disappointed on the burrito. Wasn't much meat either. I went to my brother's house to drop off the burrito. I told him it had rice and beans. He couldn't believe it. He ate a lot of the time there and it never came with rice and beans. He was also disappointed. I opened the burrito and scrap off the beans. I found out they put green beans in it too. First time seeing it on a al pastor. I don't think other places put green beans in it. Now it's a major disappointment. The to go place we both loved has changed. Guess not any more. It was also a drive there.

Old school since 1977. The one great thing about this place is that they are open 24 hours as with other restaurants around here close by 9pm. I ordered the Nachos Special with Carnitas and a Burrito de Lengua for the two of us. I should have just ordered the Nachos for our midnight munchies because that was more than enough food to feed the two of us. Those Nachos came with some very big jalapenos.

For Dine LA, I started with the Tostada Campechana, which was like an elevated ceviche with scallops, tuna, yellowtail, avocado, and a citrus sesame sauce. Everything tasted super fresh and the citrus gave it the perfect balance. The Bone Marrow Mole was rich, flavorful, and came with a generous portion and toast. Amazing food, great portions, beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service. Ka'teen definitely delivered. I would absolutely come back again.

The fried calamari, corn, empanadas, short rib tostada and chicken taco, all were good dishes but none of them were mind blowing. Prices were mostly fair. The service was really good. I recognized it from Season 1 of Nobody Wants This, and apparently seeing a restaurant on TV is all the encouragement I need to add another dinner reservation to the calendar. Parking in Los Feliz gave us a little pre-dinner challenge. A friend and I eventually went with valet, while another friend circled a few times before finding street parking. Consider this my future self taking notes: next time, Uber. Walking inside was probably my favorite first impression. Mírate unfolds across multiple levels with warm lighting, greenery, tucked-away lounge areas, and that huge tree in the middle of the courtyard. We were seated upstairs near the top of the stairs by the restroom, which gave us a view down into the main space. Admittedly, I spent a little time admiring the tables around the tree and understanding exactly why that area is such a draw. Something to aim for on a future visit. We ordered several dishes to share. Some of the starters were a little smaller than I expected, but there was plenty of flavor packed into them. The ribeye taco was one of my favorites, with Chihuahua cheese, salsa verde, and a little heat from the Yahualica chile. The octopus taco was right up there with it, paired with Chihuahua cheese, frijoles puercos, and pineapple pico that brought in a nice sweet-savory contrast. Both disappeared quickly, which is generally a good sign at our table. The cocktails were another highlight. Everyone ordered something different and there wasn't a disappointed person in the group. Our server checked in throughout the evening without hovering, which gave us plenty of time to eat, talk, and inevitably compare everyone's drink choices. By the end of dinner, I had already figured out my strategy for round two: Uber there, explore a little more of the cocktail menu, and see if we can snag one of those coveted tables near the tree. Even if we don't, I'd happily come back.

Everything tasted really fresh, bright, and limey which worked perfectly with the tacos. The citrus and acidity kept the seafood tasting light and refreshing, while the toppings and sauces added enough flavor without overpowering the main ingredients.
