Cay, our server, offers superb customer service. She was so informative on menu items, was transparent about items that were out, like bitters for my hubby's old fashioned, and made great alternative cocktails. This is our second visit in a month. On NYE, they were crazy packed so we just sat at the bar and ordered carryout. They only had one bartender who was handling drinks for the entire restaurant but he was amazing! Right off of a shopping center on Bel Air road close and right off of the highway. Happy Hour is from 4 - 6:30 and there's plenty room in bar area. Drink specials are good, they recently took my Blackberry Bellini off the line up but that's okay I ordered it anyway, the appetizer specials are filling, take one to go and the atmosphere is a good place to chop it up and decompress about all the crazy stuff that happened at work. I first went to Carrabba's waaaaaay back in 2004. I was celebrating my high school graduation & my mom suggested them. It was a love affair since. Some of my friends are skeptical about "chain restaurants", but I tell them all that Carrabba's is the real deal. The chefs literally make everything in front of you, from the appetizers to the brick oven baked pizza. The chicken is fresh cut chicken breast- not that processed rib meat stuff you'd find at other places. My first time trying mussels was at Carrabba's. I probably wouldn't have ever tasted them if it wasn't for Carrabba's. My favorite dish that I get EVERY time is the Pasta Weesie. The evening of April 24th online order department was not customer service friendly. My husband and I enjoy in house dining much better than placing an online order. Last night The online order supervisor did not handle customer service well. I placed salmon in the comment section of my order To be added to the Caesar salad and they gave me a small Caesar salad and did not have the salmon which I would have paid extra for. He was not apologetic all he said was if I wanted salmon that I had to wait 45 minutes because they were orders ahead of mine. I told him well I place an online order and my order was incorrect so why do I have to wait an additional 45 minutes for something I put in the comment section and it was ignored. My phone number was provided so if there was something that you did not do for online orders someone should've called me but again poor customer service. When I asked to speak to the supervisor he said he was one but there was no indication on his uniform what his name was or his title. So I request to speak to a store manager and I spoke to Luis who was very professional and very apologetic. Which shows you that he's in the dining area of the restaurant which is where My husband and I have always experience Excellent customer service. I don't know it's because you have young people working in that area but you have to do better for customers who come spend their money just to have better service indoors then placing online orders. read more

Your team was actively serving guests and keeping us informed when our food was a bit delayed. when things took a bit of a turn at the bar seating you offered to make things right by seating us with a different server. I came here on a Monday night a few weeks back. As we pulled up I wondered why there were so many cars in the parking lot. I didn't feel like cooking, I guess no one else did either. Once inside I realized they have something called Amore Mondays where you can get a three course meal starting at $12.99. I ordered from the Amore menu. I had calamari, soup and shrimp and scallop linguine alla vodka. The calamari was well seasoned, but not overly battered. The pasta was really good. It wasn't overcooked, which tends to happen at chain restaurants, the vodka sauce was creamy and they did not skimp on the shrimp or scallops. I'll be back! read more

I placed a catering order by phone for the Belair Road location. The order was placed by phone 2 days ago for pick up at 11:45 am to take to an office for a surprise birthday lunch. The person who took the order assured me that they were open early for catering. I arrived at 11:45 am and a worker told me they didn't have the order at all. So disappointing. I had to quickly order from a pizza place and the surprise was late. I also tried to call the restaurant when it opened to speak to the manager, but the phone was never answered. Not sure if it is under new management so beware - don't use the catering service. read more

The restaurant has a weird smell, like despair and people who just want to go home. My first table there was a spider web in the window with an active spider. My second table, another spider web, but no spider so I guess it was an improvement. The chicken noodle soup was amazing. Soft chicken and it was seasoned well. Shrimp scampi, a bit on the sweet side but still good. My chicken parm, cooked perfectly and very tasty. I was so full off of the yummy bread I couldn't even finish it. My server, amazing. I really wish they were wearing masks and they had the carpet deep cleaned, it would help. Also, the hostess probably shouldn't be on her phone with her mask hanging down, and they should probably make sure diners can't see trash on the floor as they eat. read more

Always great service, but the portions have decreased like crazy meatballs are a qtr of the size they used to be and pasta portions are half of what you would have received if you are a long time customer & the quality in food is nowhere near what it was, (for example) what is the purpose in using unappetizing chocolate chips in the tiramisu instead and the shavings or cocoa powder other than to be a little cheaper or just not put in as much effort? it completely ruins the dessert for me. Some of these things really are disappointing and most likely won't change but it's always nice to address things. read more

My family came here for dinner after my son's school winter concert and the staff all really made us feel so welcome- from the person who answered the phone (to check seating for 7), to the kind hostess at the front, to our server Aleah who pulled out a couple of sweet surprises for my kids. Many family has been coming to this location since we were kids, so it brings us memories whenever we come back here with my own kids. Though we had a large party, both the hostess and Aleah were very attentive and she even complimented her kitchen guys who were "on fire" that night. Each course came out promptly and tasted great. I have visited Carrabas on at least 4 occasions. Each time I have been pleased with the food, service, and wait time. The food had been good ~ tasty and flavorful ~ & I have never been disappointed with the wait staff who are always attentive and ready to please. When I go, I always order my drink of choice at this establishment -blackberry sangria - it is not very strong but it's just a light enough buzz for me. All I can say is fabulous . We arrived about 7p on a rainy, cloudy day. We were cheerfully & promptly seated upon arrival . Despite the Coved standards, (which was well performed there) the staff made us feel very warm & personal. We had a great waiter, Kelly Ryan. How do I remember his name because I asked him. I was so impressed with his attentive to our needs, I felt like he was hired just for us. He gave excellent suggestions, the combo appetizer & other ideas. He was patient with us trying to decide on the menu. Our food was very good, timely and hot. It had been many years since my previous visit but this experience , we'll be back soon. This was the absolute worst experience of my life for my family and I attempting to celebrate a 24 year anniversary. Restaurant was practically empty. It took 20 minutes for a party of 8 to get fountain drinks. It took 45 minutes for salads. Restaurant manager in and out of the front of the restaurant multiple times with cellphone in his hand (maybe business). 90 minutes later no dinner, request Restaurant Manager he lingers over at his leisure. Apologies, blames long food wait on uber eats order, food comes out cold, Restaurant Manager apologizes comps foods, asks if we want anything else, we just asked for Cooperates contact information and received someone's cell phone number. Very very unhappy and unpleasant experience. Lot's of red flags including the empty parking lot at 825pm on a Saturday night. You don't have to ever have to worry about us or any one I know visiting your establishment again!! read more
