I followed Stacia from her last salon because she is the best hairdresser I have found in Monterey. I found her by chance, but she has never disappointed me. I was very hesitant to write a review but I feel like this will help others. I brought in my own hair extensions for her to color and was charged $100. When I came back to install, they didn't even look colored. I wanted one solid dark brown color but trusted her. I came in with unwashed hair and she seemed annoyed and told me she told me to come in with washed hair, which I do not recall her saying. She rushed to wash my hair and told me I would have to get charged for it. I said that's fine and she installed my extensions. While they do look amazing, the color is not what I wanted. When she rang me up, it was a total of FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS. Mind you, I provided my own hair and already paid $100 for her to color only the extensions. I feel really ripped off but try to tell myself that I helped a single mother out. I'll continue to make the trek to my original hair dresser in Fresno. read more

I can walk into the salon with an idea of what I want, and she nails it every time! My hair is naturally very dry, but when I walk out of her salon it's smooth and shiny. After the rave reviews, I was excited to meet Stacia. She was running 30 mins late, but did not give me a heads up, so there I sat watching her run between 2 clients. She spent 20 mins MAX on a blow dry and shampoo, and charged me 68$ plus tip. Her shampooing was done with little effort put forth. She seemed bored. She put hardly any product on my hair, which was a red flag. Half the success to a great blow out is having it last and look super professional. By morning my hair was flat, though smooth, and looked like something I could have done by myself. I am only reviewing her styling.
