    Shrimp and Pork Belly Tortelli

I had an excellent first visit a couple of weeks ago. Casa Bianca has a great happy hour with food and drink options, including $1 oysters. They also feature daily specials. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ordered except for the wings. My favorites were the oysters, shrimp and pork belly tortelli, and fingerling potatoes. Casa Bianca is definitely a great happy hour or dinner option here in Austin!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The spot is very cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was quick. Each person who brought out food described the dish they served in detail. The food was pretty good. The potatoes were my favorite. The wings were a close second. The oysters were ok.

Came here for a birthday dinner and it was pretty good. Staff were friendly and attentive. The mezcal drink was tasty and refreshing but it did take some time to come out. We went at 5:30pm and there was plenty of parking in the lot. Surprisingly, it was also HH until 6pm on a Sunday. Our group of 3 ordered a lot and shared... the chicken wings, fingerling potatoes, oysters, lamb cavatelli, focaccia, mushroom lasagna, risotto, and the branzino. All were delicious. The standouts were the chicken wings and the lamb cavatelli.

First time at Casa Bianca and very impressed with the menu and the service. Liv was extremely helpful and attentive. We tried the greatest hits tasting menu and portions were great for two people and all dishes were delicious. If you want to try a restaurant with quality food and great service without the outrageous price, consider Casa Bianca.

Rating: 3.9/5 We walked in with a party of 5 during dinner and were seated right away at a nice booth with a large table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The intimate seating made it easy to focus on our conversations without distractions, and our server was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Dressed Raw Oysters ($1/Oyster HH): I didn't try these, but my husband enjoyed them. Fried Olives Stuffed With Herbs ($11): Served with gorgonzola cream. I'm not usually big on olives, but they were delicious and made a great starter for the table. Cured Scallop + Apple ($23): This dish came with shaved celery, galangal, and bergamot. The combination was interesting and worked well, offering a cool, refreshing contrast to some of the heavier items we ordered. Chicken Parm + Angel Hair ($25): A Tuesday special and one of my friend's favorites here. This was one of the better versions we've had. The chicken was super crispy on the outside without being dry inside, and it wasn't too heavy. Confit + Fried Chicken Wings ($10 HH): Three huge wings that were quite good. The Calabrian chili jam offered a different flavor profile that I enjoyed, though I still lean toward Asian flavors. Cavatelli ($17): This lamb and hazelnut ragu with fermented honey was a first for me. I don't think I've ever had lamb pasta before. The lamb flavor came through without being overpowering. Worth trying once for the novelty, but probably not something I'd order again. Grilled Pork Belly ($31): Served with guanciale, date relish, and caramelized pear. The portion felt small for the price, and the pork belly itself was just okay. The flavors didn't really come through as expected. Crispy Skin Branzino ($38): This came with brown butter corn puree and pistachio salsa verde. The fish was smaller than expected, and while it was good, the flavors were more mellow than the flavor bomb I was expecting. C.R.E.A.M. ($10 HH): A refreshing cocktail with white rum, coconut, pandan, lime, and absinthe. Surprisingly good and on the lighter side.

I've walked past Casa Bianca dozens of times over the last few years and had no idea about the lovey oyster happy hour they have offered on the daily. Happy hour is 4-6pm every day featuring $1 murder point oysters (max 12 per guest), $10 cocktails, $9 wine by the glass. As other diners mentioned, the mignonette chili oil atop the oysters offers a fun bite. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have patio and rooftop patio dining, bar seating, and indoor dining, the perfect setting for a romantic or gal-pal din-din of pasta and seafood.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Def going back in a few weeks. Other notable specials: :: Fried chicken and Champs on Tuesday ($35 chicken parm with angel hair pasta + glass of Ca' del Bosco brut) :: Industry Sundays with $10 happy hour cocktails and food specials on loaded fries, parm heroes, pizza pockets

The Tuesday chicken parm special is a must-do. The champagne, pasta, and chicken are all delicious. Had enough leftover for lunch the next day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has a super cool vibe and easy parking lot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was also great! We will definitely be back!

My first time at Casa Bianca was on Jazz Night. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music was great and so was the service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I didn't take photos of my actual favorite dishes: crab aranchini, mushroom lasagna, chicken wings! The weak east plate of the night were the scallops, felt really random with carrot shreds thrown on top. The crab arancini was probably my favorite bite. Great spot, highly recommend. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you do come for Jazz night, ask for a table further away from the band. Our table yelled at each other the entire night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Wow! Great food and vibes to be had here. We came during their happy hour (4-6pm) and it was great. Probably some of the best oysters I've had ever - fresh and delicious. Other favorite were the fried chicken wings and the potatoes. Drinks are delicious too. I really appreciate when happy hour includes a variety of food and drink options. Everything comes out as they are prepared, so some items may come out slower than others like the burger. Worth the wait!

My sister and I walked in around 6:10 with no reservations and were seated at one of the last bar seats. Felt very lucky after I saw the waiting area get more crowded. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have hooks underneath the counter for small purses and backpacks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu is straightforward and doesn't lead to choice paralysis. Neither of us were feeling super hungry after my Loro meal and her late lunch, so we settled on sharing two appetizers and me getting a pasta. Our server/bartender frequently came to refill our waters which was awesome. The pacing of our food was great too, starting off with the focaccia, followed by the caesar, and ending with the pasta. We probably should have gotten the small orders of both salad and pasta but as foodies were still able to finish both plates. I thought the focaccia was great, especially with the butter and the fluffy insides. The upper crust was a little burnt for my taste. The herb caesar also a standout - salad leaves weren't drenched and it had a mix of textures. Finally, the pasta was also perfect. Not greasy at all, and certainly filling. Their dessert items sounded good, so will have to return for those.

Came here for happy hour on a whim and was very satisfied with my meal & drinks! The happy hour not only had great deals but the timing is better than many other spots in the area. Every bite I had was absolutely delicious! The drinks were amazing as well. I would definitely come back here again.

Casa Bianca is where great funky Italian food comes to life! The restaurant is very cute inside and has ample patio seating and even a rooftop!! Definitely recommend getting a reservation so you are seated at the section you want since it gets busy!! We started off with the tuna cannoli, and this was soooo good! It had a little sweetness from the honey. Super unique and innovative dish that you must try! We also tried the crab arancini, the sauce that it came with was so good and there was a good amount of crab inside! For our mains we got two pastas (half portions). The cavatelli with lamb was very strong and heavy. It took a couple bites to get into. I wasn't the biggest fan of this dish. The shrimp and pork belly tortellini was incredible! The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the tortellini had a delicious filling inside! We also got the crispy skin branzino, which was cooked perfectly and filleted in a way where it was easy to eat the fish without the bones getting in the way. The only thing I didn't like was the eggplant puree that came on the side which I felt was a lackluster babaganoush and I didn't like the consistency either. Definitely recommend this spot for a date night, or if you're craving something unique and delicious Italian food in Austin!!

Sourdough focaccia- a must have. WOW.

I felt the vibe instantly, like as soon as I put one foot in the door. Magical, sophisticated, worldly, wonderful and more were the feelings that spontaneously hit me. The dark and elegant decor, lighting, design, & layout made me feel as though I were in a high-end Tokyo cocktail lounge. The front room as I mentioned is an intimate bar and lounge area with artwork adorning the walls. It's a modern, minimalist, and sleek space. The artwork is ever-changing (every couple of months or so) and the cocktail menu changes right long with it. Note: artwork is available for purchase. What an absolutely glorious way of combining different mediums (liquid art vs physical art). The craft cocktails & mocktails are the epitome of works of art. I've had great cocktails and mocktails elsewhere but honestly I'd be hard pressed to find anything on this level. You're taken into an entirely different realm just watching the genius of mixologists. It's mesmerizing watching them hone their craft. In the back of the lounge is an enclave of eclectic art and other pieces that then leads you to Konbini, the sushi bar. It's an industrial, warehouse vibe with a long counter that screams hip, Tokyo inspired, late-night eatery. Service is impeccable and welcoming at this cosmopolitan venue. It's truly an amazing experience.

I was pretty bothered by my experience here. Even aside from their mid drinks, it felt like we were constantly chasing down servers and they were only attentive when they needed something from us. We went to the photobooth to take pictures before we sat down, but the machine ate my money and broke down. I let a server know, and he came back and said he would comp $20 off of our meal, which I was happy about. I honestly only wanted them to refund me my $10 for the photobooth strip. However, they came back a few minutes later and gave us a photo card and told us to use it to pay for the photobooth and it could be used an unlimited amount of times. I was also happy with this solution, but what happened afterwards left a bad taste in my friends' and my mouth. We hadn't gotten menus or been asked what we wanted to order yet. We were just waiting around for drink menus and food menus, so we didn't want to get up and go take photos when they might come back to take our orders. The manager (?) came back to me a few minutes later and asked if we had taken photos yet, and I let him know that we were waiting to be given menus. He said someone else would give us menus, and another server gave us only a drink menu. A few minutes later, we are still waiting for food menus. The same manager came back and asked us to not lose the photo card. At this point, we were frustrated. Why come back constantly to ask for a photo card when we haven't even been given our food or our menus yet? When we finally got our food, a different server asked if we had given back the photo card yet. They were so pressed about getting this photo card back and not actually getting our orders, and we also thought it was a bit distasteful to offer a solution (the $20 off the meal) but then go back on it with the photo card. It was presented as "unlimited" swipes but we were rushed to give the card back, and realistically, we only had enough time to take one set of photos. The drinks themselves were truly just okay. I don't think any of us were particularly impressed with our drinks, but the interior of Papercut is really nice and intimate.

The bartender claimed I was drunk and cut me off anyway. I was at the bar talking to a girl while waiting to get a drink (the wait was long because the service is very slow, despite the bar not being very busy at all). She was clearly into me, and the bartender kept jumping in trying to talk to her too (instead of doing his job making drinks). He was doing all sorts of things to try and flirt with her and make her laugh: pulling out and showing her buckets of pre mixed cocktails, running and sliding under the bar, etc. She was engaging with both of us , and right in the middle of that, I get cut off out of nowhere. No explanation other than claiming I looked drunk, which I very clearly wasn't. It felt very clear what was going on--he wanted me out of the way. I left and asked the bouncer on my way out if I seemed drunk. This was literally two minutes later. He said no, not at all, and asked me why I would even ask that. I then told him exactly what happened and asked him to let the owner or whoever was in charge know about this extremely unprofessional conduct so they can discipline the bartender. His response was that the bartender has discretion to cut anyone off, and let me know the bartender is supposedly married so he couldn't have been flirting with any of the customers. Well, sounds like his logic is flawed--not only COULD he flirt with his customers, he WAS, and was therefore cheating. I hope his wife finds out. This is perfectly representative of Austin customer service lately and not normal in other places. I was in Tampa for an entire month earlier this year and this would've been unthinkable there. After finally being greeted, we were told our section wasn't ready, the other party hadn't left yet. The server / hostess seemed frazzled and kept running around trying to get us a section and talking to people about leaving. We stood there waiting for about 30 minutes. Then we were finally seated in a section barely big enough for 6, we were crammed in like sardines, sweatin. We asked the parties next to us if they could push over a bit so we all could fit, luckily they were friendly and accommodating. We were greeted not too long after being seated, Our order was taken by the first server, It took about 30 minutes for drinks and food to start to come out. The birthday girl ordered a hookah and it took an hour and a half for it to come out. Then we were not checked on for about an hour, We finally ordered more drinks and then we never received them, We asked three different servers and were told several times that they were taking care of it and it was never taken care of, We left at 1:15 without ever getting our additional orders. One of the servers told us that the bar was crazy busy and that they were probably making our drinks and people at the bar were just taking them. So chaotic. We were finally helped by Heaven and Summer at the end around 1:00 a.m. when we asked to pay for our tab. Of course the tab was all wrong because it had all of the drinks we ordered that we never received. Again, chaotic. I felt bad for the birthday girl because she was really excited about being there for the first time with all of us and the experience was subpar at best. I will say, the best part was the DJ, HellaYella. And the jerk lamb chops. Also, If and I mean if, We ever go back, We will not reserve a section like that and we will get our drinks at the front bar and sit out on the nice patio. We'll see.
