Casa Chloe is our new favorite restaurant in Fredericksburg!!! This place was truly excellent. We got the salsa appetizer with 4 different salsas, tortilla soup, ribeye tacos, shrimp tacos, churros, and tres leches. The food was incredible! The ribeye tacos came with bone marrow to put on top which was a very cool touch. The spicy cucumber martini was seriously one of the best cocktails I've ever tried and the Mexican Chardonnay was lovely. Our water Demian was so helpful and knowledgeable and really made our experience wonderful. It's a great place to enjoy a conversation with enjoyable music and wasn't too loud. I loved this restaurant and would recommend it to all! From the painting on the wall to the font on the menu it felt very welcoming and the right kind of western and southern. The guacamole was delightful, it had the perfect amount of lime avocado mixture. Their chips and salsa was very inviting, they had several options of salsa and I prefered the salsa with an avocado mixture. I ordered the ribeye tacos which were delicious, the meat was cooked exquisitely. The flavor was amazing and the bone marrow had a nice flavor as well . Then for dessert I had the churros which were very sweet and crispy. I also experienced their Shirley temple which was one of the best I've ever had. Extraordinary food and margaritas!!! we tried the ribeye tacos, the enchiladas, the octopus and the mole. All were 5-stars. Service excellent with knowledgeable and pleasant staff. Casa Chloe hosted our class reunion this past weekend and we had a wonderful time. The staff were amazing! They accommodated all of our requests from Photo Booth placement, registration/welcome tables, memorial boards, and our DJ for the evening! Couldn't have asked for more. We had some delicious nachos that the wait staff passed around during our mix & mingle time. As well as chips and salsa at our table. Dinner followed, a choice of either chicken or beef enchiladas with a side bowl of beans. (Forgot to take a picture of that!) For dessert, flan was served. Some say the best they have ever tasted. For the price...I would have expected more. The ambiance at first reminded us of fine dining in Mexico, which we all greatly miss and don't get to do often anymore. The chips and dips were excellent. The drinks were not worth the money if you ask me. I ordered a frozen margarita and it was very sweet and too green in color. We came with our beautiful nieces to show them a great time too and they were rude to children. The food was decent and different which we love. Our service from Nadia was great with what she was given. She did not try all food and drinks to know what she was serving but was attentive and sweet the entire time. The food and drinks were superb. We tried the cucumber martini, tiger money, hootenanny and abasolo smash and they were strong and delicious. The menu is small, but I don't mind that because I'd rather a place do a few things really well than have a giant mediocre menu. All the salsas and tacos were fantastic. Our female waitress was very sweet and provided good service. The ambiance was nice and music good as well. However, the food and drinks were over priced for the amount you received. We have traveled to Mexico several times, enjoying fine dining. Never have we had to pay for chips and salsa. There were no sides or garnishes with the entrees. I saw the Ribeye tacos on line. They looked delicious so I ordered them. They came with a slice of lime but no garnishes; just pieces of meat. Everything was extra. Our food was tasty, as was the grilled Octopus, but $100/person is ridiculous. The owner strutted around the restaurant but did not come around to check in on his patrons, nor did his manager. If my Spanish was better, I would have expressed my disappointment. I doubt that we will ever be back. read more

My friends and I visited Fredericksburg for the first time and found ourselves at Casa Chloe. We did not have a reservation, but were able to be seated fairly quickly. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, beautiful landscaping, and live music outside. Our waiter Joseph took great care of us. He was very attentive and made great recommendations about the menu. We ordered the Totopos and Salsa, Snapper Aji, and the Ensenada Shrimp tacos. The food was to die for, full of diverse flavors. We also enjoyed drinks from the bar. We chose to sit on the patio to enjoy the live music and beautiful atmosphere. To top it off, we even got the opportunity to chat with the owner Bow Carpenter. He was so sweet, charismatic, and a gracious host. Overall experience was so great, we came back the next night for dinner and drinks again!
