I have mixed feeling about this place. I liked the coffee it was good, great flavor & it comes in a cute little ceramic mug. The place is a bit small. The food was not so great nothing out of the ordinary. It's a little high price for the quality of the food you get. Only reason im giving it a 3 stars is because I order food & was told it would be 25min wait if I place a food order. I was fine with that but that 25min turned out to be almost an hour wait. When I finally got my food it was already cold. I was not given a beeper so I had to keep on checking if my order was ready. I did not get to enjoy my coffee because I had to constantly be checking on my order. I know it's a new place & they where not expecting such high traffic on a Monday. If I'm in the area I will give it another try since they are new but will deff not order any food. read more

It is a cozy place. It is a good place to take your time and have a meal. The service is super friendly. My friend and I each had a chicken torta and we really loved it. It had seasoned chicken, panela cheese and spinach. I had an herbal tea and she had a coffee. My hot tea was delicious and was unsweetened. read more

I got to say the food is always delicious. The staff is always so friendly. The manager that runs the place. Or maybe he is the owner he has a great attitude he goes the extra mile for his customers. Should've listened to the bad reviews. We ordered the Roja chilaquiles, Nutella crepe and caramel frappe. The frappe didn't taste much of the caramel flavor and was super sticky around the cup when they gave it out which I feel like they should wipe it but whatever it happens, the chilaquiles (we paid extra for steak) was mediocre, my man said the sauce wasn't bad but the food itself was , I wish I would've taken a picture it looked just plain and slapped together. We did see someone who ordered the chipotle one which looked way better so maybe get that one. We never even got the Nutella crepe and when I went up to tell them as I brought up the tray of one plate of finished food after everyone after us kept getting food the girl just kept looking over our receipt like??? So we told them if it wasn't made which we knew it wasn't we'll just take a refund for the crepe which she gave us in cash thankfully so one star for that. The place is small and not sure of the aesthetic they're going for and the bathrooms are gross. Hopefully they can get it together but we won't be back. read more

Hands down the best cafe de olla I've had in the states!! You can smell the piloncillo!! It was delicious!!! The waffles with caramel are soooo also very yummy and the sandwich on a baguette was perfect. I appreciate that the baguette is very soft like it's made daily. Get the queso panela on the sandwich baguette it cost a bit more but soooo worth it! Will definitely come again! read more

Wow, this place is simply delicious!! I had the ham sandwich which comes with a side salad and it was one of the best tasting sandwiches I've ever had, no lie! My wife had the blueberry and cream cheese crepe and that was amazing. We ordered a horchata frap, belleza tropical tea, and a coffee and the drinks were so good! We'll definitely be coming back. Honestly I wasn't sure what to expect while walking in, saw people sitting down and eating which gained my interest since i just thought it was strictly drinks. Looks cute. I was excited to try their coffees. I ordered a Vanilla iced latte. The total was $5.75...I come to find out they do not even make the espresso shots or brew the coffee. Let me start by saying that the service here is super slow which stinks when you're short on time. They serve food in addition to various coffees and teas so I tried the chilaquiles and let me say the serving super small for the $11.99 they charge. The biggest issue I had was the girl who packaged my food was putting away dirty plates then put my to go order in a bag and the chipotle sauce was all over the "watery" beans they give you with the dry salad. I had the Aztec mocha latte and it did not disappoint! My husband and I went for breakfast on Memorial Day and the service was great and the place is very cozy and clean. My husband tried the vanilla latte and that was delicious also. He tried the Nutella crepe and it was very tasty.i had a Turkey sandwich with a side salad nothing special but it was presented beautifully and was still noticeably good quality Turkey meat. My husband and I had a craving for coffee, but something yummy and different. We happened to be at the Quad in Whittier and decided to stop by. We were very pleasantly surprised. The folks were really patient as we asked a lot of questions. The shop is really cute and had a lot of art and jewelry from Nayarit. The cafe de olla latte was fabulous. I had it with almond milk. I love their cafe de olla and horchata frappe. Also tried a savory crepe and it was pretty good. I love coming here to avoid the busy crowd at Starbucks and other coffee places nearby. Only thing I wish they'd add is cold brew/nitro. read more

The frappes here are so bad. Ordered the gansito and the lecherita frapp and they literally taste like milk and ice blended together.
