Enjoyed a Cinco de Mayo dinner here tonight! The tacos were delicious and my husband loved the Chile Relleno. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. I really recommend this place!

Came here for lunch with my Nana. Drinks: 5/5 * Starry * Coke Food: * Brazilian seafood stew: 5/5 They don't usually serve this for lunch. But the chef was nice enough to make it when I requested it. Gracias, chef... I dream of this stew. It is a coconut milk base stew, with local rock cod, shrimp, scallops, calamari, vegetables and rice. I ordered mine extra spicy. I like spice :) It's as delicious as I remembered it... It is the stew by which all brazilian seafood stews will be compared... * Chicken caesar salad: 5/5 The caesar salad was very fresh. It has romaine lettuce, house made croutons, parmesan cheese, and house made dressing. The chicken was hot, tender and juicy. Ambiance: 5/5 Simple vibe. Latin artwork fill the walls. I like how quiet it is inside. No TV's, no music... Service: 5/5 You can sit wherever you like as you enter. The service was impeccable. Karina was our waitress. She greeted us with a smile, refilled our drinks without us asking, timed our food well (allowed us to enjoy our appetizer before the main courses were served). She was wonderful from beginning to end. Thank you, Karina :) Good food, great service and relaxing ambiance. We will definitely be back when in Fort Bragg...

Wow this was some delicious Mexican food. We liked it so much we went both nights. I thought this was fairly solid Mexican food. I'm an expert and everything from the beans to the meat was delicious. I didn't try the seafood but I saw others eating it. The service was very kind and friendly. A great selection of beers too. The place was a cute one not far from the harbor. I'd recommend this heartily if you visit fort Bragg, I don't think you're regret it

Shrimp tacos plate for $19 plus $5 to make it grilled under the guise of there being "more shrimp". Where are these extra shrimp?
    Evie B.

They charged us $10 to grill our shrimp on our tacos instead of fried, and the owner sitting at the bar hollered out to us and said they up charge for that, and the reason they up charge is because there is more shrimp in a taco when you get it grilled vs. fried. "There is a loss of volume in the taco so the chef must add more shrimp" so, only one taco had four shrimp and the other two had 3. So, I got one extra shrimp for $5 and so did my friend for an additional $5. So either the tacos normally come with two, or three shrimp? I never got a straight answer, and the server had no idea how many tacos came on the plate. It is partly her responsibility to know those things but I completely blame management for poor training and mismanagement of consistency. No wonder this place is always empty.

Today I was blessed with a lunch at this spot in #visitnoyoharbor. On the advice of my friend I chose this weeks special the Black Cod blackened, chosen on the advice of a friend. This fabulous dish combined perfectly cooked broccoli, fabulous rice, a gigantic amount of black cod mixed harmoniously with a Romesco Sauce. We have amazing food on the coast and I've tried some dishes that moved me... none more than this one. The atmosphere is awesome, warm and inviting with a staff that is friendly as well as knowledgeable. It was the perfect lunch.

Both kinds of fish tacos we great, as were the oysters. Ordered to-go and ate at the beach at the end of the road.

This place was recommended by a local and we absolutely loved it! Waiter was nice and on top of getting us our food and drinks. For a small town, this local Mexican restaurant provides the best service. We ordered the trio deep fried plate. For dessert we ordered the chocolate lava cake and apple-huckleberry pie, all made with local ingredients! Absolutely recommend for everyone!

There is lots of street parking in the surrounding area. That being said, I visit on a Wednesday for dinner so I had no problem with parking but a Saturday night might be different. I chose to eat here on a whim because it's one of the few places open past 8pm. We had no issue with getting seated quickly and we sat outside because we had our dog with us. They were kind enough to give our dog a water bowl as well. Complimentary chips and salsa to start the meal off. The salsa tasted great and not too spicy at all. I ordered the Al pastor super burrito. The burrito was hefty and filled with delicious meat and other ingredients. The burrito was only $16 which was a great deal. My fiance ordered the quesabirria tacos and while I didn't try any, he said they were delicious and he would order them again. Wife suggested we try somewhere new and I saw this place on Yelp. Ordered: Fish and chips, Clam Chowder on Bread bowl, Fried Calamari, one beer, one lemonade. The place is an outside place filled with people. Vibe was casual and the lady who help me was nice. I was looking forward to the fish and chips, and these were very disappointing. One plus was that there were huge chunks of fish, and it was a pretty good size helping. However, the fish and batter had very little flavor, and there was very little crispness to it. The fries were ok, but nothing to write home about. Felt like frozen chunks for fish with a meh batter and frozen fries. It was ok, but definitely nothing to write home about. The clam chowder was essentially a potato soup. There were more chunks of potato than there WAS soup. Might as well have ordered potato soup. It was also very much lacking in flavor. The bread was cold, and again, felt like store bought bread that I could have gotten at Safeway. Not good. Now, the Calamari is where I got a surprise. I'm betting there's no way IN HELL that calamari was made or breaded in the restaurant. I'm betting that calamari was bought in a store somewhere and then deep fried. Don't get me wrong, it was the best thing I bought (tasty, peppery, crunchy, with a good dip), but it was so flavorful, I'm willing to BET the same people who made those fish and chips and that clam chowder IN NO WAY could season that calamari that way. That's my logic, and I stand by it. In short, I was hoping to have a good lunch, but left disappointed and let down by the good recommendation on Yelp. Unlikely to come back.
