I love Casa Garcia's it is my favorite spot and my husband and I come all the time. Casa Garcia's has great Mexican​ food and great service.

A friend & I visited this restaurant and I enjoyed myself. My margarita was delicious and had the right amount of alocohol in it. My food was delicious and the flavors were there. Very yummy! Also, the serving size was a lot more than I would have guessed. The waitress was very friendly and attentive and seemed to enjoy her job. One of the downsides is that the restaurant is very bright. I visited in the evening, so it was a little jarring to walk into such a bright restaurant. This was more comical than anything, but the waitress assumed that my friend paid and was calling him my name, which was very funny to us. I brought my parents here (March 22 around 7ish) for my dads birthday because he had gone to the manor location and he liked it there plus were Hispanic and we like to try different Texmex restaurants, it was me and my moms first time here so I wanted to give it a chance to see if it was good. They sat us pretty fast and our server was super nice and kept checking up on us which I really appreciated it because he seemed like he was around 18 or 19 years old but he killed the game! He took out order and we got our food at a pretty good timing BUT THIS IS WHERE I GOT REALLY MAD. The blonde older lady with glasses was the one to bring our food, SHE PLACED THE FOOD OM THE TABLE WITHOUT ASKING WHO THE FOOD BELONGED TO so that part was kind of irritating since I've been in the service industry for maybe 5 years, she had mentioned my plate was hot which I guess was alright BUT SHE DIDNT MENTION THAT TO MY MOTHER WHEN SHE PLACED MY MOMS PLAYE DOWN! Which you can guess what happened next right? Yes my moms fingers burned when she accidentally put her hands on her plate. As a server you mention to every individual that a persons plate is hot no matter if it's a table of 2 or a table of 30 people!! I don't like to put anyone on the spot since I have served for years but my mom has been complaining about it since it happened which has been 3 hours from now. I've been here to dine in about 3 times. ALL three times, we get the WORSE service. We literally just had to walk out after waiting 10+ min at our table, after no one came to service us. Not a greeting. Not a drink order. Not even an acknowledgement. The waitress that seemed to be for our area was in the back, just walking around & chatting. I like this place. It's the go-to Mexican restaurant for us in the Pflugerville area. The service is usually friendly. The food overall is high quality as far as Tex-Mex is concerned. The cheese enchiladas in particular are on the same level of places like Maudie's. When I am not ordering those, I am usually splitting fajitas with the wife, which brings me to a slight complaint. When taking our order, every server will ask us what kind of tortillas we want, and we tell them. Then, when they bring us the fajitas, they ask us again what tortillas we want, and we tell them again. Then, most of the time, they either take a while to arrive or the server gets preoccupied with something else and we have to flag somebody down to get them. It's a pretty big setback in the service and I wish someone would address it. It doesn't seem like a server issue. It's a flaw in the restaurant's process. read more

Our dining experience was OUTSTANDING! We were in Austin for a wedding from St. Louis and had this restaurant recommend. This place was AWESOME! We had a party of 7, that they were quick to accommodate. Kimberly in the bar area made our experience SO much fun, and Devin was too kind in taking multiple pictures of our group until they met his standards. We're already planning to come back before we depart Austin. The chips were salted with just the right amount and Kimberly was kind enough to seek out corn tortillas in addition to the delicious flour tortillas. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. Breakfast is the best around. We have a habit of eating breakfast at this location, and much prefer it over the Casa G's in Pflugerville. I usually gobble down most of what's on my plate, and finish off my 2-year old's cheese omelette that he can't finish by himself. They put plenty on the kids' plates, and full entrees too. The waitstaff is incredibly friendly (always!), and treat us so well considering we make a lot of requests with our toddler in tow (extra napkins, plastic ware, ketchup, refills, etc). Many of the waitresses will often bring his breakfast meal out in advance of ours so that he can start eating, which we appreciate very much. Hangry toddlers are not easy to deal with in public :) I haven't had bad meal, overall experience, or customer service experience here ever, and we are regular customers. read more

I'm gonna give this 5 stars bc the food is always amazing and their homemade tortillas are to die for. Kim is an awesome waitress as well. BUT just want to mention it bc i hope management sees it, a lot of people who work here are very rude. That's the only reason we stick with the same waitress after many many others. My husband and I tried this place for dinner on a Sunday night. We weren't impressed. The food was edible, but the flour tortillas were the only above average part of the meal. My taco and enchilada combo was nothing special. The size of both enchiladas together equaled the size of just 1 enchilada at other places. My husband's sizzling chicken fajita plate came out sizzling but had stopped sizzling by the time they brought the tortillas for him. He's pretty sure the chicken came out of a bag instead of being cut and cooked fresh. Many other parts of the meal had a canned feel to them as well. The decor is dated and unappealing (pink fake flowers stuck in a huge stone fountain in the middle of the room) and the music playing was straight from a greatest hits of the 70s album. Given the lackluster food, the small portions, and the prices they charge, there are better places to go for a taco fix. read more

This is my family's favorite place to get sunday breakfast! The tortillas are fluffy and fresh, the salsa is perfect, the migas are to die for and the waitstaff is friendly and attentive. We took a team of 10yo boys and their families following a baseball game to Casa Garcia's and were treated to the best service along with delicious food and beverages! Kimberly did an AMAZING job of keeping our orders together and, along with the wait staff and kitchen crew, she went out of her way to make sure everyone was happy...even keeping the kitchen open a little later than usual for us!! I went to Garcias in Pflugerville for an early dinner on a Saturday. It wasn't busy. A little warm in building. It use to be fantastic, we went weekly. But it's changed. I ordered chicken fajitas and waited 40 minutes because they cooked the wrong meal. They brought me sweet tea twice when I asked for unsweet tea. While waiting I saw customers walk out. Others complaining about different things. When I got tortillas they were hard and cold. The next set of tortillas were the same. The meal was not warm and nothing had flavor. The meat tasted like it was freezer burned. Waitress came and told me cook was young and new. Then she brought me bill and happily said you have a discount. She also told me cook had gotten soooo much better! I looked at bill and there was no discount. Won't be back! read more

Mexican Martini was THE BEST I've ever had! Service by Kimberly was spectacular! Queso was basic but good. Tacos were only so-so. Gristly steak fajitas with gummy tortillas. First of all, we've been here before and were generally happy with the food and service. However, last night was ABSOLUTELY THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE in a long, long time. I'm not even sure where to start. We were promptly seated but it was a few minutes before our waiter came by to take our drink order. One of us ordered Sprite but the sugar was way off. I tasted it and it was horrible. We constantly were without chips and salsa and drinks. The waiter was rushing around and I saw him talking at at least 6 tables. That's way too many. We saw a food walker go by our table and set food down on a table next to ours - 4 plates and 3 people. She walked away with one of the plates but left the food. You could see the people were confused. No wonder, that was our food!! I saw someone that arrived before us, ask the waiter when their food would arrive. I should have known to walk out at that point. I saw another food walker try to deliver a tray of food to 4 different tables before taking it back to the kitchen. They tried to bring us their food minus one plate and asked if we wanted it. Hell no, I want what I ordered! My two daughters ate their food while my wife and I waited at least 10 minutes before our food arrived. We ate our entire dinner while our drink glasses sat empty. My wife had to get up and ask the manager for chips and salsa. My wife spoke to the manager and all we got were excuses - shortstaffed, new waiters etc etc etc. She told him we weren't paying for two of our dinners. He did take them off but never came by to ask what we needed. The waiter knew we were upset, How could we not be? As my wife walked down to the manager, she heard another waiter asking a table if they wanted to keep the food brought. I guess they didnt have a clue where food needed to be delivered. When we left (with people standing around waiting to be seated) we saw the manager behind the building smoking a cig. Must not be too worried about his business. Well, they lost ours - I can't possibly see us going back there. They get one star because I can't give 0 stars. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me! read more

I've eaten here several times, this location. Not sure why I have come back, this will likely be my last. It was a Saturday early evening, fairly busy but no wait and tables still available. Right off the service was not good, no greeting and it took a while for anyone to come and seat us (my wife and I). We then ordered a Mexican Martini and a couple of waters. Our server kept coming by to tell us the order for the drink was put in. I'm guessing it was no less than 6 times she told of of the status of the drink, finally the manage brought us the drink which is $11. I really like Mexican Martini's, but this was awful. Very tart and couldn't tell there was any alcohol in this "top shelf" drink. I told them I didn't like it, to which the reply was was "oh." Service continued to be slow but we received play-by-play on the status of our orders. Taco was great, enchiladas, tamales were good. The food here is pretty good but the service consistently stinks. 4 stars for food, 2 stars for service giving it 3 stars. read more

First off, the staff came off as a tad unprofessional, but if you like an informal atmosphere this place is for you. We were seated at a table fairly promptly for a party of 5, but once we were seated we waited 10 minutes or so to be offered beverages or have our orders taken. We did watch as another table next to us who arrived after our party get served before us, though. I got a stuffed avocado with shredded chicken, which I have had here before, several years ago. The food was amazing, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The lime mints on the way out leave you with a nice touch. read more

Great place to come after work for margaritas. Love their frozen margs and the food is good too. Typical Tex mex. What is the negative side? The servers. Had bad servers on two different occasions. One charged us a tip on our tickets and didn't let us come up with the tip amount. That server was horrible and rarely saw her. Another server was a complete klutz, she dropped a plate of food in front of us, didn't remember one order correctly, and she messed up our tickets. The servers are what they need to improve on here. Love their margaritas though. read more

The server lady was ok, she did not ask me if I wanted anything else to drink after I finished my orange juice, also she could have brought my mom some milder sauce for her eggs but told us no. My favorite Mexican restaurant!! Kim is the only waitress that has been there for the whole 3 years we've been going. She always is complimenting me and checking on our kids. She knows all of our names and gives excellent customer service. If we don't have Kim, we generally have a good experience. Been here about 10 times. The food was good up until about 6 months ago, The food is still ok, but the service is not so good. I felt very ebarrsed because I went to buy some tortillas to go and they forgot about me, furhermore the waitress and the tortilla maker got into an argument in front of me, the tortilla lady wanted to be asked in Spanish and the waitress did not want to kindly ask in Spanish. They both speak enough English and Spanish to of communicated a simple order. I apologized to the tortilla lady in Spanish my self and she just felt embarrased too. I guess the manager lets them play games that make the bussiness loose customers. As a bussiness owner my self I would never ever tolerate this kind of behavior. read more

My family and I have been having breakfast and dinner at Garcia's since 2003. We will not longer be having dinner there, we can spend our $200 a month elsewhere. It seems that over the past year things have been going down hill with the quality of food and speed of service at dinner time. The breakfast is great as always but, tonight it was not busy and staff averaged 4 tops each; It took 15 minutes for drinks and our order to be taken, it took 20 mins for the food to reach the table (ok time I guess) and the waiter we had disappeared we asked for refills from two different staff to no avail. I had to walk to the front of the restaurant to get the host to get us the check. I told the host, waiter and staff this was the worst service we have had in ten years, nothing was said and the opportunity to save a long term customer was lost. read more

The cheese enchiladas used to be some of my favs in Austin area...they were tiny, not cheesey and dry! No sauce. They didn't taste good. I hate the idea of someone posting there opinion on a page to defame a place, HOWEVER this is needed to be said. I've never been talk down to and been argued with over what I feel to be my opinion on my food and how degrading they made me feel when I left. I will never visit this location again and I will advise my friends to never give this location business. read more
