This was my first time here to this establishment. The staff here is very friendly and tenitive to their customers. They brought us chip and salsa after we first got seated. I ordered a combination plate that came with a wet shredded Beef burrito, shredded beef taco, rice and beans. Which was very flavorful and tasty. This location was very clean and well staff. I would definitely be back to try some other items from the menu.

As always, the food and atmosphere are great, the cocktails amazing, but the star of this and almost all visits here, Gustavo. Gustavo makes it obvious that he wants his guests to have more than a simple dining experience, adding positivity, energy, and many welcome smiles.

If you have the honor and privilege to be seated in Gustavo's section, you're in for a treat. Not only does he have a mind blowing memory, taking everyone's drink and food orders at our table and repeating it back and bringing us out everything correctly, he is just the most friendliest, uplifting and positive soul. We had an amazing Galentine's evening all thanks to him, the food was great, the company was great, the service was outstanding. Would be back over and over just to have my day blessed by that amazing human.

Came here for a family dinner as was in area and saw the revuewd were decent for a spot with margaritas and good ol fashioned mexican food. Was seated quickly and staff were nice enough. Attempted to order a mezcal margarita but waiter said they didnt make thise and instead ordered a house margarita...drink came out an was ok...seemed a little weak with regards to tequilla but was ok. Food though was good and they had various salsa which they offered which offered enough of a kick...ordered a cheese enchilada and chile relleno plate which was filling...would recommend if in area, but would say maybe see if other drinks are available other then house stuff....

Took some food home and even re heated the meatballs however they were undercooked, and even when I cooked them again myself with high heat, they were still undercooked so the fact that I went to go to a restaurant to pick up and have an easy meal and turned into a hard meal, which turned into the Same impact undercooked and not edible. want me.

Carne Asada, with many alterations but it was done my way. 5 stars 4/5/24

4/5/2024 Just got home from our very first dinner at Casa Jimenez. G U S T A V O He is the epitome of what Customer service is all about. I counted about 17 adults and 14 kids in our party tonight. Gustavo waited on us and had the memory of a computer and got all our orders right. I was so impressed that he could do this without writing down our orders. His memory accompanied with his amazing personality.... All I can say, is we have found a new place to eat out at. The food was soooo good. The endless chips and salsa is hardly common at these sit down places, and makes everything worth the extra $$ we pay to eat out. I liked it. The whole experience at a new to us, place. My grandson turned 12 and I'm sure this will be memorable for years to come. Thank you, CJ and Gustavo!

Mala actitud de la chica que está en frente, los meseros tardaban mucho en ir a tu mesa. No vuelvo a ir la comida sin sabor.

You could tell it had been simmered properly; every spoonful had layers of flavor instead of just spice. The meat was tender and plentiful, the hominy cooked just right, and the fresh cabbage, onion, cilantro, and lime brought everything together perfectly. Adding the salsas took it from great to unforgettable--each one added its own kick without overpowering the soup. This is the kind of pozole that warms you up, fills you up, and makes you slow down because you don't want it to end. Simple, authentic, and done right. I'd come back for this alone.

Hubby always has nachos- so of course he had the carnitas nachos. I had a pollo tostada and a carnitas sope. Conclusion: nice, clean fast casual restaurant, lovely people and fresh tasting food. Nachos were served in a huge mound with big pieces of juicy pork, beans, cheese and guacamole. My pollo tostada was lightly fried and packed with lots of chicken, lettuce, tomato and cheese and the sope had the same accompaniments and juicy pork. I think I preferred the tostada over the sope ( because of the base) but that's my personal preference. Will definitely add this little shop in to our taco rotation!!

I asked what breakfast burrito is the best or her favorite and took her up on the recommendation of the Machaca Breakfast Burrito. Choosing to dine in I was offered chips and salsa and asked for salsa preference. No salsa bar here which was fine, I chose spicy and got a roasted red salsa and creamy green salsa. Red had more kick but the green had such a nice bright flavor. I'm sure there are more options but it was nice to trust the service to pick. Now for the burrito, the star of the show, Machaca is only 50 cents more than the bacon, coming in at around $14 which is about average around here. The size was great and a nice weight. Cutting it open there was a great mix of all the ingredients. Potatoes were a small dice and seasoned with the same spice they sprinkle on their chips I think. Fajita style onions and peppers with a generous amount of juicy Machaca, laced with perfectly melted cheese. I think there may have been some refried beans in there too since I asked for everything they recommend. If there was they were so nicely blended they didn't dominate a single bite and may have performed more as a binder. 5 stars for Location and staff were both great as it's not hard to get to off Ynez by the dealerships. It's the kind of place locals know of and tell people they got their perfect spot. Blown away by how friendly the staff is, in the morning, while taking deliveries. The Machaca Breakfast Burrito is a solid 4.9/5, would definitely order again after I try some of the others because this place is definitely going on the short list of go-to spots. They have quesaberria tacos that look awesome.

The location is a mom and pop operation with enough tables and seating to accommodate maybe a few groups of people. We arrived here on a weekday afternoon as we were craving some breakfast burritos. This restaurant is steady with customers coming in for their lunch breaks. The cashiers and staff were very welcoming to us as we needed dining in. We ended up ordering a Machaca burrito and a fish burrito. They offered house made chips and salsa as complimentary items. These burritos were served so hot and fresh the steam was seeping through. The machaca was delicious and I loved the spice from the fresh cut jalapenos. My wife and I ended up eating 1/2 of our burritos and took the rest to go. Familia Restaurant is definitely feels worth their pricing. The hospitality from staff was top tier. I'd recommend coming by if you are in this area. Please come by and support this family business. We left happy! ( ^_^)b

My torta was delicious. Sometimes the most simple meals are the best. Just toasted bread, beans, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and ham - but so good! My husband ordered a machaca burrito, and he said it was great. We noticed they have plenty of vegan options, which we are always looking for since we have a daughter who doesn't eat meat.
