UNPROFESSIONAL, UNHYGIENIC & NEGLIGENT. Let me give you a timeline to understand what happened. At about 7:20 pm on a Saturday, I called Rosarito and placed a pick up order for two Carne Asada Burrito Loco. The woman on the phone told me it would be 15 minutes. I don't like getting to a restaurant for a pick up and still having to wait there. So instead of 15 minutes, we give them even longer and get there at 7:50 pm. There's two women behind the counter - women #1 taking phone orders, women #2 is at the cash register taking orders from a couple with their toddler. Once they are done, we move forward and tell her we are here for a pick up. We pay for the order as she tells us it's not ready yet and we need to wait. I notice there is a take out bag ready to go, but I guess its not ours. Keep in mind it is now 8 pm and it has already been 40 mins since I called and ordered, and on the phone I was told it would be ready in 15 mins. Alright no problem, we will wait. She then hands us two condiments cups, yes ONLY TWO, the mini 2 oz size and points to the salsa bar. So two adults only get two mini condiments cups, while the couple with the baby got 4. Okay cool, you guys are cheapskates cutting costs clearly. So I grab my rundown runny salsas and we sit down at a table waiting for our go-to bag. As I sit there I notice, the woman is still on the phone. The other woman is taking orders and taking food to the customer's table while sweeping the restaurant. The entire time she was just sweeping away holding a dirty broom, and then using the same hand grabbing plate full of food and serving to customers. That's disgusting and unhygienic. IT IS NOW 8:20 pm, our order is no show and we are both frustrated!! So I walk up to the counter and ask her if our order is ready. NOPE, STILL NOT READY. So I ask her for two more condiment cups and she does not look happy. She asks the woman on the phone in spanish and it seems she tells her its okay, she gives me two more cups. So I grab some more salsa and go back to sit down. Woman #1 still on the phone, and woman #2 back at it with the broom. Well, NOW WE ARE AT 8:45 pm and my husband is about to lose his shit. So I go up to the counter and instead of the broom lady, I ask the phone lady where our order is. She asks us what we ordered, two burrito loco, she looks at the bag on the kitchen counter that I noticed when I first walked in. GUESS WHAT?! GUESS FREAKIN WHAT?! That is our order and it has been sitting here for the LAST ONE HOUR, while we kept being told our order isn't ready. Phone lady starts yelling at broom lady infront of us. Broom lady yells back at her. HONESTLY I DONT FUCKING CARE!!! I just want my food and I want to be out of this unprofessional, unhygienic and irresponsible shithole. She hands over the bag to us with an apologetic look while glaring to death at broom lady. DON'T RECALL AN ACTUAL APOLOGY FROM EITHER ONE OF THEM! They were too busy going back to yelling at each other. You guys in the restaurant need to get your shit together, work on how to professionally communicate with each other and PRIORITIZE YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! As for the food, IT WAS COLD when we got home, and home is only 5 mins away from the restaurant. Wet burritos stay warm inside, even if the outside gets cold. This was cold and cold throughout so you can imagine how long ago this was made. NEVER AGAIN. read more

When we drove up i was worried this place wasn't authentic, boy was i wrong. Life lesson learned!!Thank you! My husband and i came in for the Santa Clarita diet! I was impressed, I'm just assuming this place is the Santa Clarita diet because the food is too bomb! Amazing service, great portions, and the aguas are pretty good. I ordered an asada torta and was very pleased, it was so big i could only eat half. My husband ordered the chicken fajitas, they were so good i took all the bell peppers my husband didn't eat. I packed those delicate peppers up and will eat them tomorrow because i couldn't let them go to waste. BTW I'm Mexican, so i know this place is legit, my husband is not Mexican and he loved the place. So if you are or you aren't, come on in. My little mut love child loved the beans. My sister told me about this place. Very disappointed in the wet burrito, I have never been charged $2 for the sauce. $2 for sour cream etc. The burrito el pastor was blah. Don't understand all the good reviews. Casa Lupitas in Castaic has better prices and don't nickel and dime you to death. This is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants that I've ever been to. It's a tiny hole in the wall joint (best restaurants usually are). I live about 2 hours away from this place and I would do it every week if it meant that I would get to have a California burrito from here and not gain 50 pounds a week :) The owner is so welcoming and super funny. After seeing a very well targeted sponsored add on Facebook I decided to check this place out. I began my journey a lil dressed up expecting a restaurant style place with bar and all. When ariving the logo on the door and Facebook matched but the sign on the building did not. So after doing a quick turn around I grabbed a parking spot next to Carl's Jr. Walking into the location I was surprised to see a more fast Mexican food style set up kind of like Baja Fresh or rubios,Not to be so disappointed because I saw beer in pitchers. I ordered a Taco Sampler and a Michelada and grabbed myself a seat. The waiter brought my food and drink to my table and I can say all the Tacos on the platter were amazing in taste and size. The beer was great and the glass was cold. The salsa bar was legit and more LA style. Small things I noticed: - Attractive Manager - Once you Sit down no one check on you (I would have bought more beer) - Great Food - Needs more at table service. The food is good. The young cashier with dyed blonde hair on the weekends needs to attend a customer service course. You have to ask her for salsa, the tacos, etc., come with pico de gallo but no other salsa. I don't even bother asking her for the jalapeño crema salsa, even though the other cashiers ask what kinds of salsas you would like. The food was great and fairly priced. The service was on point. Everyone was very friendly. I would have given 5-stars except for the fact that both of our orders were taken correctly (per the receipt) but served incorrectly. We sent one back but didn't bother with the second one. Food is very good, the habanero salsa is on point. They give you handmade tortillas (at least for the first round). That's why the 3 stars. Unfortunately service is not as good as the food. It took forever to get our food. People who was there when we arrived left and 2 other new tables of people who arrived after us got their food even before us. We got up multiple times to ask, the lady said the molcajete takes longer to make which we could understand if wasn't for the fact that we also asked for a burrito that we didn't get until even way after the molcajete and that's because again we got up to ask for it. Food was really great. We went a couple weeks ago. I got the Asada burrito, my mom the green carnitas enchiladas, my dad the fried fish, and my daughter got the taco with French fries. I've been to Casa Pasila 3 times in as many weeks and LOVE it. And after reading other reviews that are negative, I just can't figure out how people had such a negative experience. (I believe that some people post negative reviews for spite or because they work at a rival business. I also believe that some people are just miserable all the time and can't muster anything nice to say or simply project & attract negativity.) Anyway, this restaurant is clean and welcoming, and the staff are super friendly. We ordered our food at the counter and then sat down to eagerly await the yummy goodness that was coming. Did it take longer than a fast food place? Yes. Was it too long? No, and totally worth it! So far, I've had the chilaquiles, the milanesa torta, the french fries (twice, because they're THAT good), and today I got the tortilla soup (which was not only great, but it was served in a large bowl and was perfect on a cool, drizzly day!). Everything that I have ordered has been yummy, and everything my family has ordered was great. No complaints from anyone! I did not think the prices were high. Good food takes time to prepare by hard-working people who must be paid for their work. Another thing worth mentioning is that I witnessed a elderly man come in and evaluate the menu. When asked if he knew what he wanted, he replied with obvious confusion that he wanted a hamburger. One of the staff, Yoli, patiently explained several menu items and helped the senior man make a decision about what he wanted to order. It was truly heartwarming. Thank you for being such a good human, Yoli! I saved the best part for last to conclude my review: the coffee. Anyone who knows Mexican coffee (or cafe de olla) gets excited when presented with this option over boring old regular coffee. This Mexican coffee is outstanding, and it has tasted freshly-made each of the 3 times I've ordered it! Just had breakfast there and the young girl wearing glasses jumps on her phone for a personal call and is swearing up and down, yelling loudly, dropping f-bombs, it was nuts. Then a few minutes later she is talking to the girl who is running the register, yelling loudly again"f-this, f-that BS," over and over again. When I approached her and asked if she was the manager, she said "no," I told her that my family would prefer not to listen to her profanity laced rants while we are out to eat. This is for the burrito mojado combo, it's a burrito and taco combo basically. Comes with rice and beans. First time we ordered a asada wet burrito with green sauce, it came with rice and beans inside burrito container, it had enough sauce to cover burrito and was very tasty. Second time ordered a carnitas wet burrito with extra red sauce, and beans and rice on the side. got home ( I live across town so not worth the drive back for their mess up) Didn't get extra sauce, didn't even get meat in my burrito, I got a veggie burrito. We called to let them know, they offered to give us a credit for another burrito and we accepted the credit. Went back today and was told they don't/ can't give credits and instead gave me a discount $7 Ordered an asada burrito with extra sauce(they charge an extra $1), they barely put any sauce at all on the burrito it was almost a regular burrito, the meat tasted old and dry. They didn't wanna give me rice and beans in a separate container. ( they did it two nights before and gave it to me with my taco, now the burrito is made with rice and beans) they need to get their stuff together and teach all their employees their rules if they don't wanna comp people for their mess ups. Very busy due to Cinco de Mayo...I understand but waiting for over an hour and a half. I had to leave by 5:15 to pick up my kid. Owner said just a few more minutes...5:30 still waiting. Also have me a tiny bag of chips. I ask for 5 small bags & they said no 1 per order. I spent $88 dollars including tip & could't give me 4 small bags...I have 5 of us on order. We just went there for late lunch - the place was about 3/4 full when we walked in and we were the only ones there when we left a full hour later. In the end, the food was really good but service was very poor. No one asked to take our order for about 10 minutes. Order was finally placed. Chicken Fajitas - no special order. Extra tortillas (which i think we were charged for). It took 35 minutes to get the fajitas and they were delivered with no tortillas. Had to ask for those and they took more than 5 minutes to arrive - and no extras as ordered. Maybe the end of lunch rush but the workers were more interested in cleaning tables (no one was waiting) and sweeping floors than helping the only 2 customers left in the place. I have been coming to this establishment for over 10 years. Today was and will be the last time I go there. The woman who I believe is the daughter of the owner is the worst employee that has ever worked there. She is so slow, and looks lost half the time. Today I called to place an order at 11:05am, she put me on hold. After being on hold for almost 10 minutes I decided to stay on hold but drive to the restaurant. While still on hold and now standing in line I watched her look at the phone 4 different times, she then helped the one customer in front of me in line who walked in at the same exact time I did. Meaning no one was in line until we walked in and she could have picked up the phone. Finally it was my turn to order. I told her she could hang up the phone since I was the one on hold. It was now close to 11:20am. I placed my order for chicken tortilla soup. I left and went to 7-11 to buy a soda since there's is so overpriced. I waited in my car a bit then went back inside, the time was now 11:40. Still no soup. I watched 5 other people order,or get their food and leave or dine-in. I stand up to remind her, I was still waiting. As I was standing, I watch the cook in the back pick up the spoon to start pouring a bowl of soup. He dropped the spoon and picked it up, pretended to walk away then walked right back to the pot of soup and continued to pour the bowl. I asked the lady if that was my soup because I just watched the cook drop his spoon. She said no that soup is for someone waiting in the dining room. I explained he dropped the spoon and she turned to him and asked if he did, of course he denied it. I continued to wait for my soup, which I really didn't want now, but thought just keep waiting its got to be almost ready. At this point she tried to tell me she was sorry, and my soup is almost ready, she said they were short staffed and pointed to the cooks in the back. At this point I lost it! I told her, "I have been coming here for years! The cooks haven't been the problem! You're the problem!" She did not like that and asked how she was the problem. I replied "you are slow! You don't know how to do your job. I have watched so many other employees work here and you are the only one who cannot handle it!" She does not know how to manage her duties. She leaves people constantly waiting for simple things. She is always trying to justify that they're under staffed, which I have been told for over 5 years. If that doesn't tell you something, I don't know what would! She is constantly making excuses and trying to justify every single mistake, which happens almost every time I have ordered from there. When really the mistakes are always her fault! Their prices are outrageous, their service sucks, the wait times are extremely long, you can almost 100% count on a incorrect order, the employees are always late, they are understaffed, I really cannot say anything good about this restaurant anymore. They really need to get it together! I was looking at the recent reviews and it clearly seems like they're having some issues. Multiple complaints within the last few months! In the end of it all, I got my soup, which is now sitting in my car. As I walked out, she asked me not to come back! Craved something hefty and figured a good burrito would do the trick. My eyes locked on to what my stomach desired most...the burrito loco! A wet burrito with your choice of meat and stuffed with pinto refritos, Spanish rice, melted Jack cheese, fresh guacamole, crema & pico de gallo. It must've weighed at least a pound and looked delicious with a beautiful, mild green sauce to top it off. The carne asada was tender and juicy but I would have liked it more if they added more meat. I also ordered a horchata to wash down the food and I was pleasantly surprised with how rich it tasted. Wasn't grainy with cinnamon, wasn't too sweet, wasn't watered down, and it definitely helped with the little kick from the spice. The salsa bar definitely takes the cake in this review. There's a good assortment and I thoroughly enjoyed the creamy jalapeno salsa and their Rosarito garden salsa. You can't really go wrong with these dishes but quality salsas are hard a dime a dozen. read more

Horrible service! The food is decent but EVERYTIME we go there is an issue with service. One time I did an order through yelp saying my food would be ready by 11am. Went there at 1115 and the restaurant was closed! Got my email from yelp at 1120 that my order was cancelled. 2nd time I ordered through yelp (DoorDash) and went to pick up my food, again about 10min after it was supposed to be ready, and they never even got my order. I had to wait another 15-20 min for them to make my order. 3rd time my husband went to order in store. He sat there for over an hour while other customers were coming in and getting their food within 10min. When he went to the register asking where his order was, they told him they would start making it now! Again this was an HOUR after he had already ordered and sat there waiting for food while watching other customers come in and get their food in a timely manner! We r done with this place read more
