Stopped for lunch on Sunday with our oldest. I am always hesitant to order sushi at the same place you can order a burger. Cast & Co. does both extraordinary well!! Husband and I ordered the Spartan, Hawaiian and spicy tuna rolls while our son had the Spartan burger. The burger was cook well and had great flavor. A group of us went there after an afternoon of donating boxes of Thanksgiving dinners to a local organization. We had reserved a table, but it wasn't available for a while. The manager comped us our first drinks, and I must say they were very good and we could order whatever kind of Liquor if we had liquor, that we wanted. The food was very diverse, culturally, and my Thai dish was delicious. It was crowded and noisy, so if you don't like noise on a Friday night, I guess you should stay away. We loved it and had a great time. Thank you very much. This was our 3rd or 4th time to Cask & Co. We generally enjoy the food, but never outstanding -just okay. Tonight we order a few draft beers and one was flat and warm. We asked the server to take it back and replace with something else. The server took the beer back to the bar and returned with the same I returned. Not a new pout, the exact drink I handed him. Said something about couldn't exchange. You get that, terrible beer and walked it up to the bar and brought it back. We had him take it away again, thinking it wouldn't be on bill - he charged us for it. It was also BOGO burger night, he missed that too and charged us full price for two burgers. Likely just poor training; however, we haven't had a great experience there yet an likely never will. read more

Our first visit here came on a night when they had an outdoor concert in the parking lot. The indoor part of the restaurant was bustling and noisy. We were seated at a high table near the bar in less than a half hour on a busy night. They have multiple TVs and we watched the Olympic doubles table tennis. Our server was also tending bar, so could be forgiven for not being super attentive. We had the shrimp tacos which were delicious and the pulled pork flatbread which was the single best thing I've eaten in a restaurant in a long time. Highly recommend and we will be back. read more

My husband and I have been here twice in the last month and absolutely love it! He loves American style food and is obsessed with their roast beef egg rolls and Spartan fries; and I love seafood and have so far tried the shrimp tacos, crab dip and sushi and all were delicious. Service has been great and we love the atmosphere. First visit was my birthday and they even gave me a free dessert, which was totally unexpected! We stopped by on a whim and were overwhelmed by the variety on the menu. So while we were looking at the menu we ordered crab Rangoon dip. It was fantastic. Since it was sushi Sunday, we ordered two of the specialty rolls and got a free classic role. The food was exceptional. We will be back! You never know what you're going to get when you try a new restaurant. Could be bad. Could be good. Could be "meh." Cask & Co is definitely on the "good" list. Reservations: I love that their reservations on the website get into specifics. Inside? Outside? High top? Occasion? I wanted a booth, so I put it in the notes. I got a booth. Yay! Ambiance: You know what I hate about going out to eat at certain restaurants? LOUD, OBNOXIOUS MUSIC. I have been at places where the music is so loud it vibrates the tables and chairs. People, I come for dinner. If I want to go clubbing, I'll go do that later. Cask had GREAT music. Classy music. Think Sinatra, Fitzgerald, Holiday kind of music. It wasn't blaring. It was just there, in the background, while we enjoyed dinner. Thank you. You don't know how great this was for me. The restaurant itself is casual, but nice. Big bar. TVs at every angle. Some kind of trivia that you play on your phone. There were people of every age there, so it's an "Everyone" kind of place. Food: Apologies for no pictures. I was too busy eating! We tried the charcuterie platter and the Spartan fries first. The charcuterie was nice. The last time I got a charcuterie board (at a different place, in a different town) it was smaller and $10 more. This was the right price and right size. Tasty stuff, though I'd like a couple of different cheeses. The Spartan fries smelled great and tasted equally great. And before you say "how can fries be bad" - yeah, you know they can be bad. These weren't. I'd get them again. And again. Dinners: Sushi, Pad thai with chicken, and the salmon. Sushi was good (so I was told). Pad thai was really good. The salmon was a nice sized piece. I tasted the sauce that was on it and didn't like it. It seemed like it was gritty to me, but the person who was eating it seemed to think it was okay. Drinks: We didn't order anything fancy. Beer, pop, coffee. I was a bit disappointed in the coffee. Apparently there is a regular coffee and a flavored coffee. I asked for regular but I'm pretty sure I got flavored. It came in a huge mug, but it just wasn't hot. I love coffee, so this was a small bummer for me. There was one disappointment of the night. After we left and were about 20 minutes away down the highway, I remembered my box of leftover pad thai (it was a big portion)....that I left on the table back at the restaurant. NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Looking forward to coming back. Get a reservation on a Friday, because they fill up fast. read more

We stopped here on our way up north. It's a cute restaurant with some unique features like the taps hanging from the ceiling. We had 7 people with us including 2-3 picky eaters (teenagers). Everyone was able to find something they liked. We ordered Pad Thai, Burger, Quesadilla, Boneless Wings, Pho, Sushi & the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich with Parmesan fries. Everything was really good. I'm originally from Detroit now living in rural Ohio. We gage everything based on...would we drive an hour to come eat here....overall everyone said no that it was all good but not crave worthy. I had the sushi & it was really fresh with nice big rolls & they didn't bat an eye at my substitutions. The parm fries were delicious. Everyone finished their meals. Food was probably a 4 but we gave it a 5 bc everyone was happy. If you're looking for a restaurant with a big variety that's yummy definitely check this place out. The night we went it was quite empty inside but the waitress was really kind and welcoming. The restaurant is really nice inside and very clean. The food was good and the sushi portions were large. Additionally, the service was remarkable. Jordan was our server and she was attentive, fun, and friendly. With labor shortages resulting in sub par service and reduced operating hours impacting restaurants, I'm going to assume that the management team is taking good care of its employees so they in turn take good care of the customer. Burger itself tasted ok but calling these "olive burgers" is an insult to olive burgers everywhere. Worst olive burger I have ever eaten(and I've had a lot of them). The olive sauce was more like a cream cheese olive dip without too many olives in it. No way this should be called an olive burger. If you like olive burgers, don't order this one. It is a prime example of someone taking a good thing and then ruining it by trying to make it fancy and different. They failed. It also shouldn't be that hard to cook a burger medium. Even medium well by accident could be ok. Fries were tasty. If we go back it won't be to get a burger!! Atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. To witness how they spoke to well yelled and cursed at our server in a restaurant full of people was absolutely unacceptable, really put a bad taste in me and my friends mouth completely ruining our night we couldn't believe it. YOUR SERVERS ARE HUMAN TOO. I'm very disappointed, being in the industry myself. We went here in August and had great service and the food was good. Yesterday, we joined the online waitlist. We went to the restaurant and checked in. We were told there were no tables. After waiting about 10 minutes after the estimated wait time I asked if they had any idea how much longer. I was told no because they try to calculate when people with reservations will leave. Another group came in & was told the wait was likely another 20 minutes. Then, offered available seating outside and taken there even though we were before them on the list. I think their waitlist estimate needs revamped. It said 45 minutes and was going to be 75 minutes instead. Just put 75 minutes on the waitlist and if I get in 45 I can be pleasantly surprised. The customer service at the hostess station just wasn't there. The food is good and our server once they seated us in the pub next door was good. If you go make sure to get a reservation rather than join the waitlist or be prepared to wait almost done the estimated time. read more

Nice ambiance. Good tunes that were not so loud that you could not talk. I had the Front Burger. It was prepared properly and was juicy, hot and had a decent slice of tomato on it. The Hand-cut fries had Parmesan cheese on them, which if you like cheese was ok. Personally, I was not a fan. Another in my party for the Artichoke & Olive flatbread. It was a generous portion and very tasty. I would have given them four stars, but they had a surprise 2% credit card surcharge on the final bill. Neither my wife nor I saw this on the menu.
