Our server, who told us it was the first time he'd waited on us, went over the top to make us feel special. More recently we attended a party there for our niece and were blown away by the variety of food and menu options. The desserts were excellent, and we tried dishes we normally wouldn't have ordered--they were the bomb. Service was on point again, the food was tasty, and we left absolutely stuffed. The garlic bread was delicious, and I highly recommend the penne alla vodka. I'm very picky, but I got the skirt steak and it was so good. We can't wait to come back!

This was my first time here, but my parents have been going to Uncle Bacala's for years. Our server was so extremely nice and apologetic about the wait and took such good care of us. They were very busy and yet the food came out in great time and everything was delicious. The stuffed mushrooms were my favorite thing of the night. All the food was excellent, including the desserts. It was my father's birthday and he had a great time. Our server was so friendly with my kids, even talking to them about Minecraft - which they were obviously elated about. I apologize for forgetting his name but my son wants me to let the owners know that he was the nicest "restaurant person" ever. My only real complaint is that the tables are all very cramped together. It seems like they've added tables since the last time my family was there in order to accommodate a bigger influx of patrons. However it feels very tight and our table was in an awkward place (sticking out in front of the French doors that lead into the other room). Other than that the atmosphere is very welcoming, all the floor staff were nice, we had a great time and left very full!

I had to change plans quickly as I looked at the specials they had going on that day wow! We decided to go with the duck and the monkfish main course entrees instead. Life is about making the right choices and this was the best decision I made that day lol! The duck was cooked to perfection soft on the inside crispy on the outside wow! I really like how juicy and fatty the duck was very succulent and delicious yummy. I especially liked the wine sauce on top among taste sweet with a slight tart to it juts the right balance I was impressed. Definitely one of the best duck dishes I've ever had it's a special so I'm not sure if it will be available when you decide to go call ahead would be my suggestion and your best bet. Laslty the side with butter squash was also a delight to eat and treat! Second course was the monkfish which was great as well. It had a slightly Smokey flavor to my pallet and a slight crunch on the outside maybe it was torched or seared not sure. Whatever the case it was a great touch to the dish very tasty and juicy as well. I love the sauce and the sides were great mashed potatoes with broccoli yummy! I highly recommend this place for brunch, lunch, or dinner take your pick. They will not disappoint you at all that's for sure. I'm not sure how this place is in the evening as I've only gone during the day. I hope the chef gets to read this and know his work is appreciated and noticed! The staff and waiters are very accommodating and knowledgeable about the entrees and food in general. Great service and energy I will come again and repeat whenever possible. I liken the music they play in the background it's not too loud and always sets a great tone for the place. The windows bring in great light and the decor is tasteful and elegant gives a bistro vibe to me personally. You might think differently let us know anyway. Run don't walk to visit this fine establishment whenever you're in the mood for Italian or seafood or a plain old good burger enjoy.

I had the linguine and it was one of the best pasta dishes I've had all year. They did not skimp on the crab at all and each bite was more delicious than the next. The house salad had the perfect amount of dressing and the waiter served us each a perfectly portioned plate. We were a party of 6 and there was so much food left over, we had lunch the next day. The grilled chicken and shrimp combo was perfectly cooked, the veggies were the perfect mix of crunch and soft and the chicken was still juicy. The seafood marinara was tasty and the seafood wasn't rubbery which is always a fear I have. It was the single portion but still enough for two people. We had the stuffed filet of sole special and it went so quickly I didn't have a chance to take a picture. The brownie sundae was a basic sundae but was delicious. The ricotta cheesecakes were nice and light but definitely an acquired taste. The cappuccino was watered down and tasted more like a watered down coffee with foam and cinnamon on top, but paired well with the sweetness of the brownie. It wasn't a busy night but the service could've been better. Don't get me wrong, the wait staff was nice but they also took a long time to get basic things like lemons for the water and had to be reminded that we asked for it. They are a valet only parking lot, I didn't realize that when I parked but gave the valet worker my keys and he had my car waiting for me at the door on the walk out. Very friendly and nice gentleman!

Between him and our busboy, John, our water/soda was never empty and our bread basket was always full. As an appetizer, we decided to order the stuffed artichoke and the spicy calamari. My dining companion thought the stuff artichoke was a bit mushy, and it looked so, but the spicy calamari was beyond delicious. That dish is a definite MUST.  For mains, we decided to share the chicken campagnolo style and the seafood pasta. The seafood pasta had large clams, shrimps, mussels and calamari. Portions are family style with plenty to fill you up and still take some home. Both dishes were tasty and are highly recommended.

We only waited about 5 minutes on a Friday night... surprisingly quick! You can't go to a clam bar without ordering clams!!! Raw Clams: Fresh, large, and served with cocktail sauce and horseradish. Can't go wrong! Baked Clams: A must order! The breading was flavorful, and had the perfect crispy crunch. Mussels in White Wine Sauce: Generous portion with fresh mussels. The white wine sauce was rich, buttery, and perfect for dipping bread. Seafood Salad: My favorite was the calamari. It was perfectly tender with a bouncy texture, not rubbery/chewy. It also came with shrimp, scallops, mussels, and large crunchy croutons. Vincent's Classic Combination: We chose the fried calamari and fried shrimp. The breading was light, crispy, and not oily. The sauce leaned on the sweeter side, even though we requested it spicy. My only complaint is that I wish it came with more linguine. Napoleon: Light, flaky, and not overly sweet. A great way to end the meal. Overall, fresh seafood in generous portions with classic Italian flavors. If you're looking for a solid seafood spot, this one is definitely worth a visit! Highly recommend!

Another wonderful dinner at one of our favorite Long Island restaurants…read more As always, warm bread with two delicious dipping sauces arrived immediately, and I was so hungry that I almost forgot to take a photo before finishing it. A few months ago, I had an amazing Filet of Sole Francese at an old-school Italian restaurant in the Bronx and had been craving it ever since. Tonight, I finally found a version here that completely satisfied that craving. The fish was incredibly fresh, lightly egg-battered, tender, and packed with flavor in a bright lemon sauce. Absolutely delicious. It also came with a side of spinach generous enough to be shared by two people -- another photo opportunity I completely forgot about. I also ordered the full-size Calabrian Linguine with garlic and oil toasted with 4C spicy breadcrumbs, which continues to be my favorite dish here. Hubby enjoyed his favorite Chicken Dino, served family-style. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and generously portioned, with enough leftovers for tomorrow. What truly makes this restaurant stand out is the hospitality. One of the owners, Tyson, is always gracious and makes guests feel genuinely welcomed. Our server, Glenn, was personable, attentive, and excellent from start to finish. The bus staff were also incredibly efficient throughout the evening. Between the delicious food, outstanding service, and classic white-tablecloth atmosphere, this remains one of our favorite places to dine. We always leave happy and looking forward to coming back.

I recommend it if you're looking for quality family style food.
