Wow was this place great. I don't know how it would be for a carnivore but for a vegetarian it was a superb experience. We ended up eating on the patio which is on the 3rd floor. Everything here is an upscale presentation. Unless you find parking on the street or the lot, expect about $25.00 to valet as your only other options. I had the truffle mushroom spaghetti as the main plate. The vegetarian sushi was also outstanding. Service was top notch. They are super accommodating and I didn't see any attitude. Great menu no matter what you eat. If the weather permits, the patio is without a doubt your best choice (rooftop). Yeahhhhh it's like that! I would come back here in a heart beat. Price is a bit over the top for me but it would make sense for the quality of food, as it is amazing. That's what keeps it at 4 stars for me. They have just of a bit of everything for everyone; seafood, meat, chicken, pasta, veggies, and of course the main course (hand made cannolis). It's buffet style for brunch on the weekends and the vibes are up. Sushi and the truffle mushroom pasta was a hit! I'll say the service is very nice as well, everyone felt friendly and welcoming. This place was AMAZING. I everything we had truly was unique in its own flavor but stood out from one another in such a positive way. We had the opportunity to try quite a bit of things on the menu and it did not disappoint. I would say my ultimate favorites were the wagyu fried rice as it was fresh off the pot still sizzling, had the perfect amount of seasoning and the wagyu was so buttery it melts in your mouth. My second favorite was the wedge salad was amazing as I have never tried a dressing such as this sesame one, I'm craving it right now I actually might go back this weekend just for it! The madai crudo was refreshing and citrusy in one bite! My pornstar martini was great as well! very refreshing and it comes with prosecco on the side (you're supposed to add it into the drink but I preferred it to be separate). Of all the great dining experiences in Miami Beach, Catch is one to miss. Dined there 3/24/26. Apart from the sand in the vegetables, the ten minute gap between my entree arriving and my dining companion's, the non-existent service made this truly a memorable experience -- and not in a good way! On the plus side the non-sandy parts of the meal were decent, but not great, and to their credit they did take one entree off the bill (after I expressed my dissatisfaction), but left the 20% service charge (for what I am not sure). I called the next day and again today, but your staff claimed they had no idea what I was talking about. They were extremely disrespectful, hung up on me mid-conversation, and spoke to me in a rude and unacceptable manner. No one has shown any willingness to help or even look into the issue. The level of service I received -- both during my visit and over the phone -- was absolutely appalling. My friends invited me here for a Galentine's Day brunch. We made a reservation about a month in advance and we were all planned on meeting there. This spot is beautiful, they offer valet right at the front and there is a bar on the first floor to wait for everyone to get there. I also loved that the entrance on that restaurant is decorated with plants you instantly feel classy walking in. When we got to the roof top I was surprised by how spacious it was. We were a table of 7 and were really excited to try the buffet. We ordered drinks I started with an expresso martini) and then we were off to get some food. We started with the raw bar which was great they had oysters, shrimp, and a lot of different types of sushi rolls. Then we went back for round two and went to the station with the steak and the skewers. They also had this incredible pasta which was probably the best thing I ate. They also had an omelet bar as well as a waffle bar. I tried a couple different drinks. I also had the lychee martini and my favorite was the dirty martini with the blue cheese olives. The drinks were delicious and so was the food. The only thing that I would recommend is that you dress according to the weather. Some of the people in the group were uncomfortable becuase it was hot. I have been wanting to try Catch- Miami Beach after falling in love with the New York location, so when trying to decide on last minute dinner plans, Catch was a no brainer. We arrived for a 9:30pm reservation, and after a short wait we were taken to our table. The restaurant is beautiful to say the least. And once we were seated, we couldn't wait to look over the menu and make our dinner selections. We order an array of starters including the Hamachi Crudo, Madai Ceviche, Truffle Mushroom Spaghetti, and the Hellfire Roll. All were amazing with the truffle spaghetti and ceviche being my absolute favorite. For entrees, we ordered the Miso Glazed Sea Bass and the Prime Ribeye, along with a side of Brussels sprouts. The sea bass was cooked perfectly and the flavors were out of this world! Now the ribeye, was another story. It had absolutely no flavor. It literally tasted like it went from the pack to the pan, and for $85, I was highly disappointed. Now while the food was overall amazing, the service was lacking. Our server didn't really check on us, and we waited extended periods of time between course. This was a stark contrast from my experience in New York. Reservations were so easy through the Resy app and I was able to modify it when I needed to. From the moment I walked in I felt great energy from the ambiance. The gentleman that opened my door was welcoming and sweet. He set a good first impression for the night. Catch South Beach Delicious Sushi! Great new spot in South Beach at the south end. It's walking distance from many hotels - we were staying at the Hilton and it's just a block away from Bentley Hilton. We went for the rooftop sunset menu, which is before 7 PM. It's basically a happy hour menu. Upon arriving at the front door we saw a family that was dressed very casual in shorts and T-shirts and they were politely sent away by the gentleman at the door who recommended other restaurants in the area that don't require a dress code. I thought that was handled very well. Be aware that there is a dress code. The atmosphere was really nice walking into the restaurant. They have a super cool bar and a beautiful dining area. There's an elevator that takes you up two levels to the third floor, which is the rooftop. The restrooms are located on the second floor. You can get there by stairs or elevator . The dining experience was really nice. We had an awesome server, Emilio. He offered great suggestions and was very attentive. We enjoyed the crunchy rice cakes, Sunset Boat, spicy yellowtail roll, salmon avocado roll, and pistachio cheesecake, all of which were absolutely delicious. We loved everything including the craft cocktail. The price was really reasonable for what you got in the area. It was $178 which included a cocktail, dinner for two and dessert. Note 20% gratuity is added just as it is in all of the nice South Beach Miami restaurants. The service is definitely on par for that. With all of the dining options in the area, this is definitely a spot to stop in. I understand they have a Seabass on their menu too. We were excited to try Catch Miami but left thoroughly disappointed. I booked a dinner for five through Resy, surprised to see availability on short notice during a holiday weekend. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill right from the start. When we arrived, the maître d' directed us to the fifth floor, only to yell out that it was actually on the third floor. After fumbling with the elevator, we got to the third floor where no one was at the desk to greet us. We waited about five minutes until someone returned and escorted us to our table--on the terrace, not the dining room we had specifically reserved. When we pointed this out, the receptionist casually offered to "call down" to check for dining room availability, but since part of our group was already seated, we just stayed on the terrace. Service continued to disappoint. Dinner dragged on for over 2.5 hours with long gaps between courses. Some dishes didn't arrive but still showed up on the bill. The sommelier dropped off our wine and never returned. On top of that, the water glasses were often left empty, which was especially frustrating since the dishes were overly salty. The Cantonese lobster, for example, was very salty and small--more like a prawn appetizer. To top it off, our coffee with dessert didn't arrive until after we'd already settled the bill. As a local, it's easy to find hot spots that fall flat of expectations and just deliver a vibe without anything else... not Catch. Backed by the glorious restaurant group, we expected the highest standards, and Catch Miami not only met our expectations but overdelivered. From the drinks to the food to the service, nothing was short of impressive. In terms of the food, we were impressed by the quality of the fish. Highly recommend the omakase boat even if you are just 4 people, it's a great main event to split. Other standouts were lobster pasta and the hit me dessert. Absolutely loved everything here! The aesthetic is so rich and gorgeous, lots of places for great photos and setting the mood. We were in town celebrating our wedding anniversary and chose Catch for dinner. Our waiter did a wonderful service walking us through the menu and making suggestions. The food was very tasty and the cocktails creative. I have only sat at the bar so far in the three times I came but each time the bartender recommended some great dishes and different cocktails. I highly recommend the spicy cauliflower appetizer dish as well as the crispy rice dish. This is likely to be an even bigger scene when there rooftop opens up. Very trendy restaurant from the ambiance to the guests. Make sure to follow the dress code as you will be turned away! We went with family and our two kids. This is not a great place for kids. They do not allow strollers. As we walked in, instead of being welcomed the guy at the door pointed to my baby in car seat and said "that is not allowed here." Horrible way to start. I said we don't have stroller that I was just going to carry him in the carrier and he said it was ok. We get seated and we proceed to order my toddler's meal first, as usual. Again, they were very un accommodating . They said they had no kids meals and all they can do was the mushroom truffle pasta. We asked to take off the mushrooms from the top at least and they said no they can't...very odd. Ultimately they did bring the dish without the mushrooms on top and it was delicious. Everything just seemed like a no. The rest of the food we had from sushi to oysters was very good. The omakase boat was tasty but too expensive for what it was and for sure did not feed 6 people as described. The bang bang shrimp was really good! Drinks were good. We waited a really long time for our end of dinner espresso martini's but I was pleased once they arrived and I tasted its deliciousness. Overall, good food and beautiful ambiance but unaccomadating hospitality and service for kids. As the meal went on they lightened up a little but did not start great. Let me first start by saying,I'm a VIP member in Los Angeles, friends with the GM at both catch and catch steak locations and eat at the Los Angeles & NY locations frequently. However the service at this location is no where comparable to either. The staff here is extremely disorganized and their priority seating makes zero sense. I have never made a reservation somewhere and had to wait over an hour to sit down despite arriving on time. We watched several tables who came in after us sit before us. Once we finally sat down there were literally 4 open 2 seater tables open. We arrived at 10:04 for a reservation at 10, and sat down at 11:11. Ridiculous I will say they attempted to remedy by giving us a free salmon appetizer. (It wasn't very good but nice try) The food overall here is consistent with the rest of the food at the other locations. We got the omakase platter, the truffle cudo, wagyu gyoza, catch roll, wagyu roll & the hamachi crudo. It was all pretty good & fresh. A good 4/5 stars for the food itself. The free item the gave us was a salmon crudo, it was fresh but lacked flavor. the vibe of the space is nice but is not on par with the Los Angeles locations. My overall rating is 2/5 stars. I would have left and not eaten if it wasn't 11 and everything around was closed. If you're looking to try this place, go ahead and pass if it's busy because you will wait . Oysters were so fresh, fillet mignon was cooked to perfection and so tender. The sauces they provide made it even better. While crab hand rolls were good I did not think they were worth $26 for the 2 tiny hand rolls we received so I probably wouldn't order them again. The kobe beef fried rice was so good! They serve it in a heated stone bowl ensuring it stays hot. Service was good but not great. I don't think the server checked on us enough and there was a long period of time we didn't see her at all so empty glasses of water went unnoticed and were not refilled.
