Catfish Connection is a spot that I could go to every day. I love fish, and I love spicy foods...CC is the perfect combination! It's located on the corner of Kiest and Hampton at the end of a strip of shops. It's basically a take out spot, but there are a few tables inside, but not too many...maybe 2 or 3. I ordered the fillets. These meals come with fries, bread, pickles, and peppers. The fish was fresh and hot. The breading has a little kick to it too. It's one of those slow burns that you feel around your lips and in your mouth a few minutes after you've been eating. It was perfect! I'm normally not a fan of tartar sauce either, but this was the perfect recipe..filled with spice! When I got my box, I got the bread, put on some pickles and tartar sauce, and stacked up some fish on top and make the best fish sandwich that I've had in a while! I just finished eating it a couple of hours ago, and I'm starting to drool again while I type this! While this food is awesome...I probably only need to make a visit here about once a month...it's pretty heavy, like any fried catfish meal is. I think that I read on someone else's review that this was a cash only spot...that's not the case now. The fish was as awesome as I remembered: spicy, crunchy, delicious!!!!
