They are okay. A little over priced but it's a corporate restaurant so not their fault. The steaks do come a little under-seasoned for the price. Always very busy but the servers and host are pretty nice and love the salad bar. read more

We were very excited to eat at this place, but unfortunately we were disappointed when it was all said and done. The prices were expensive and my husband and I didn't feel it was worth it. Everything is an add on. The salad is an add on as well as the sides. You get one side with your steak. That's it. The worst part was the smell of the dishes at the salad bar. My husband went to get salad and smelled something, but couldn't quite put his finger on what was bothering him. He went back for peaches and the odor coming off the plate was like a cleaning detergent. We brought it to the attention of the waitress who told the manager. The manager came over and thanked us for bringing it to his attention and that was it. My husband left with a terrible taste in his mouth and an expensive bill. Never again!!! read more

Cooks don't seem to know how to cook filet. Medium ordered, but delivered well done. Replacement came out mooing. The other order was medium rare and delivered between medium and medium well. This is our second failed attempt at getting steaks properly cooked at this location. Additionally, the floors and menus were sticky. read more

All I can say is wow! I had the Country Fried Steak and it was amazing. The breading was light and golden brown and the steak was so tender you did not need a knife. The dinner rolls are outstanding, they are sweet with a light buttering. The cinnamon butter served with it was also an unexpected delicious touch. And to top it off the price was fantastic. Zero if I could say the least. I took my granddaughter here for lunch over her fall break. As she was eating her rolls she dipped it in the butter and when she looked in the butter there was a hair deep down in the butter, she picked it up just to be sure she wasn't mistaken and what do you know it was a hair. Once our waitress came back we told her and she took it back and just got us more butter. Like why would I eat more butter after I just found a hair in my butter!? And then they asked if we wanted to-go boxes, like why would I want to take food home from a restaurant that had hair in our food. And then they didn't even give us a discount like I would have even appreciated a 10% discount but no. Come on Cattleman's! They obviously don't appreciate there customers. Poor service, OK food. This is one of the first times yelp has let me down. I saw this place had multiple 4 star reviews so I went here with my wife and daughter after a horse show on a fri night. The parking lot was mostly full but we were seated immediately. We ordered an app and mac & cheese for our daughter as we looked at the menu for our meals, 10 minutes later our when our order was taken we were told our app went to the wrong table and our daughters order was not yet put in. The table next to us was so frustrated they left without eating. The meal was ok. I would not recommend this place for dinner. read more

A friend took me here for a good steak and I was not disappointed. The price and food were perfect for a small town steakhouse. I had a ribeye, baked potato, macaroni, salad bar... really everything was good. The steak was a little over cooked for medium but the flavor was so good I can't complain to much. The salad bar had more on it than I expected. I mean you can make any kind of salad you can think of. The bartender and servers went out of their way to show us a good time. Went with husband during our Kentucky vacation. We had initially tried to go to Babe's BBQ however it was closed and ended up needing a last minute place to grab some food and stumbled upon this place. Quite good! Husband ordered the 10oz sirloin with a baked potato and I ordered a smaller version of the same, 7oz sirloin. Overall pretty good needed a little salt. Fries were fresh. We both got the salad bar which was $3.49! What a deal! The salad bar was quite good, it had fresh ingredients, frequently re-stocked, and tons of variety! Olives, ham, egg, bunch of dressings, cheese, along with sweet ingredients. I actually went to the salad bad twice! Husband also enjoyed the salad and went back! Our waitress was very kind and checked in on us frequently. One of the big problems and I get that it wasn't the restaurant's fault is that there was a large party next to us that was loud, and cursing up a storm which created an uncomfortable environment. When we travel we have purposely stopped a night for many years in Georgetown to eat at Cattleman's. We told our friends to do the same. When they went there the salad bar was awesome but the service was lousy and they were very disappointed. We told them how someone used to come to your table to check your Steak. They said no one did that. Their steaks were not that great and I am sorry I recommended it. I am not sure I'll stop again on my trip home from Florida but if I do I will carefully observe and talk to management. read more

This was a great eating establishment. They have a full salad bar. Everything in it looked fresh and well kept. Dustin, our server, was super friendly and attentive. Our group had the specials of country fried steak, chicken tenders, and white fish with the all you can eat salad bar. Everyone enjoyed their delicious meal. We got the appetizer platter. Wings, cheese sticks, and potato skins. Nothing was good. Wings were just meh all over. Three of us got the Outlaw Ribeye done medium. My steak was cooked medium. The seasoning was lacking and there was not crust and virtually no fat. Leanest ribeye ever. Beer list was very underwhelming. My steak was okay. Service was slightly above average. Our server was ok. 2 things that bothered us: although masks are not required by law & I don't know what cattleman's policy is, we appreciate any restaurant that has their staff masked. This place however ..90% had their masks under their chin. 10% under the nose. Why wear one at all? This includes in the kitchen. We had a perfect sightline from.our booth. 2nd, the mgr walked past us 2x & didn't stop to ask how everything was. Well it started out great then progressed to terrible. Our server was great. She even offered me a cheaper route for wanting the salad bar. We ordered our appetizer and after 30 minutes we still hadn't received it. We even got our food and had it halfway eaten (I got well done steak) before it came out. I manage in the restaurant business, me of all of people get it. But the manager never came to apologize. He told the server to just take it off our bill. So we got the appetizer to go and we were there approximately another 30-45 minutes finishing our meal and he never did come out. Just WOW is all I can say. Food was great also. read more

Do not eat there. By 5:30 on Sunday they were out of white cod fish and prime rib. The bathrooms were filthy and out of toilet tissued finally had to to settle for their haystack steak. So tough could not eat , . Had to spit out. The onion rings were minuscule and cold. The people who rate this restaurant above a one must never have eaten out before. Go hungry rather then eat there. I did not expect this. I ordered ribeye, twice baked potato, and coconut shrimp as an appetizer. The steak I ordered medium rare and was extremely good. It was seasoned perfectly, was so juicy, had great grill marks. The only reason they dont get 5 stars was the size of their wine serving. A 4 oz serving just doesn't cut it. Sloth-like service (in speed and quality) but mediocre food to make up for it. We arrived just ahead of the lunch rush on Sunday. While other tables were having drink and appetizer orders taken almost as soon as they sat down, we had to ask for our server, who showed up at the 9 minute mark. 29 minutes after ordering, our food finally arrived. The fries and broccoli were hot, but the filets--the point of going to a steakhouse--were overdone, dry, and tasteless. At the end, we tried over and over to get our server's attention to pay the bill. Finally, he returned, I am guessing to receive his participation trophy. For comparison and so that COVID-19 doesn't get the blame, the table behind ours sat down after us, were served, left, and another couple were seated and served before we could get out of the place. We stopped here for dinner prior to the New Year's Eve celebration at the Hilton next door. Despite the horrible weather, the restaurant was nearly full when we arrived and only getting busier. We were seated promptly and were well taken care of by Constance. She was efficient, friendly and prompt. Best steakhouse I've been to in years! The salad bar is also the best salad bar I have ever seen. It's HUGE & has a wide selection. I would go back just for the bar alone! Service was also exceptional! Several workers passed us during our time there & asked if everything was going well/we were having a great time. Several people also asked us how our time was on the way out. We sat in the bar area to avoid the hour wait so our service was a bit slow but that's to be expected sitting in the bar area. This place was good in alot of ways but I was a little disappointed. Server was great, the baby loved the salad bar which has a ton of options, atmosphere was chill. I got a loaded baked potato and a side of onions and mushrooms which I promptly dumped on the potato and that thing was awesome. My husband got the honey bourbon glazed steak and it was slamming. But it was recommended to me to get the ribeye, which shouldn't be hard to mess up... Idk if it was an off night but that thing tasted like cardboard across the majority with one sliver that was marbled super well and tasted amazing. One tip first. Sat in the bar area to have dinner. The lighting is terrible. It's just a little two dark to read the menu. Saw multiple people using their phones as a light for the menu. It's a great looking place Thought. Easily a 4 star for this part of the world. Had the wild bills ribeye. It was excellent and prepared as requested. Loaded baked potato was awesome. Salad bar is the best in the area. Companion got the Black & Blue Sirloin cooked med. with loaded baked potato. Steak was a little tough but still tasted good. We sat at the bar. The girls there worked hard to tale care of everyone. They made excellent drinks. We had a couple of double Red Stag and cokes. It was a little expensive on the drink side but was worth it I guess.
