I love this place! Ever since it opened, I have gone multiple times a week to get my fix for those incredible blondies and the bowls. However, the real reason I go is to see Thomas! He is so much fun and no matter how long the wait is - by the time I get up to him at the cashier he makes me smile and laugh! I've heard it's hard to find good help and a few times when I've come late, I've seen some people make outrageous requests (I saw a guy ask for like multiple to go containers of onions completely ignoring the other customers) and somehow Thomas and the team always find a way to accommodate. I often wonder why they don't have a tip container so we can pay it forward to the staff!! Thomas and the crew are the real winners at this location! read more

This place is hands down the best Mediterranean build your own option to open in Druid Hills. The idea is to be able to grab and go with om your meal so no traditional sides other than pita and pita chips. That said, they aren't needed. They have a bunch of different bases to start your bowl or wrap with, choose 3 of their spreads, two scoops of their protein options, and as many toppings as you want. The avocado gets scooped out the skin for each order so if there's some oxidation, don't worry - it doesn't affect the taste. Everything is super fresh and very healthy. They have a ton of dressing to finish everything off too - and allow you to get them on the side to try and find your favorite combination. I recommend the preserved lemon vinaigrette (a little sweet and tangy) or the caesar (hint of spice with a great garlic taste). They use all compostable utensils, plates, and straws and have a nice modern aesthetic inside. Awesome outdoor seating area as well. Drinks are either fountain, fresh made lemonades, or bottled. Staff is patient considering every person is curious about each ingredient so I appreciated them answering my questions about the not-so-commonly found items like the harissa chicken or the roasted eggplant spread. Prices are on the higher end (total was $13.91 for the bowl with a side of pita chips) but for the amount of food and the quality, I find this to be fair. Will definitely be eating here again and in that patio they have when it cools down a bit! read more

The absolute worst experience at this store today. We purchase from this store often. Today I placed an online order for myself and two co-workers. The order was to be ready at 12:30. We arrived at 12:45. It was not on the shelf, so I got in the line and once I got up to the counter, I greeted the person standing there and explained I had placed an online order. He told me to go over to the shelf. I told him I had already gone over there and it was not on the shelf. He told me that it would be out. After ten minutes or so a gentleman came out with an order, which was not mine. He apologized and said he was waiting for lamb...this was no problem. I waited, maybe another 10 minutes. He came out and handed me the bag, I made a point to thank him and I took the bag and wanted to check the items. When I checked i noticed the cookie was not there. They looked and said they had no more blondies, to take something else. I did. Then I looked at my bowl and I said there is no avocado on the bowl, I could not see it. The tall one came over and I said I don't see it (I asked him because I could not tell if it was in there); apparently this annoyed him. He said he would take it back and he said it in such a way, I just decided to ask for another cookie and be on my way and then this person went into a rant. Said its the way I talk to people; I literally just asked if he say the avocado because I could be missing it and I wasn't, not even remotely, upset. Not even slightly. We then got into a shouting match and this man came from behind the counter, confrontational, I told him if he put his hands on me, I was calling the cops. Here's the thing; intially when I approached the counter, I could see he wasn't having a good day. I made a point to say, hi, how are you doing. I made a point. I have worked in customer service, I still do and sometimes it can be trying, especially if over worked, so I try to be sensitive to those wo provide customer service. This person was already upset or having a bad day. His coming from behind that counter to confront a woman is not aceptable, especially since I did nothing wrong by asking for the things we acutally paid for. No one would accuse me of being upset, not even the other workers because I made a point to show patience. I won't be returning. Cava is always so fresh and I love that I can customize my meal. However, today Khalia and Myles at the Druid Hills location went above and beyond with their customer service to make sure we had the best experience possible even though some of the toppings were missing from the line due to no shipments coming to the store on Sundays. Ate at CAVA for lunch today, the second time this week. For the most part, the staff are friendly and do a good job. The food is sooooooo good. Though they were busy and the girl at the register who was also on "toppings" duty was clearly frustrated and ready to be done for the day, everything turned out well. We do want to give a special shout-out to the young man that was working the to-go orders around 2/3pm today. He was such a kind gentleman. We didn't get our pita but he made sure to get us a fresh batch and was just so kind! I feel bad that I didn't catch his name, but CAVA should do everything possible to keep him. I ordered the Harrissa avacado bowl, it was super yummy despite them being out of corn and avacado (i work at a restaurant so i understand the struggles of being out of stock) staff was friendly and even gave me the hook up to what waters to mix together (sweet tea, lemonade, and the strawberry drink) Super good! read more

Walked in over 30 minutes before close. The clown in the front audibly gasped while on her cellphone and ignoring everyone who walked in. The food is great however the staff/ customer service is severely lacking. Every time I have been there the staff act very bothered that they have to deal with customers. When the man handed me my food today I said "thank you" and he never looked at me or said anything in response. The staff seem like maybe it is their first day of work- they didn't know what ingredients went into what. They didn't add falafel to my falafel bowl. When i asked them about it they said they already added it. Another staff person whispered to them they they in fact did not add falafel and all they said was "I'm tired." They did not seem to be practicing appropriate hygiene (long uncovered hair, no gloves, no apron, beard). This is the second location I have been to and i have experienced the same lack of customer service at both. read more

First of all, let me preface that the food here is amazing. There's a reason that I keep coming back. Actually this entire place is amazing. If you enjoy open mics or comedy shows, save your money and stop by here. I can't help but die laughing every time I come. I can't tell if this is a food establishment, or prison for the workers. I've been here 10+ times and no kidding never seen a smile, in fact we've seen fights. Cooks and cashiers arguing out loud complaining about the customers right in front of our faces. We are genuinely bothering them every time we come. I love it. Me and my girlfriend bet on whether it not we are greeted, but the issue with betting is you can't both bet the same thing, anyway I will be back, the food is too good! read more

I thought I was going to Zoe's but realized CAVA had taken over so why not try it! I had a warm pita with honey chicken, rice, veggies and the jalapeño feta cheese spread. Not only was it a large portion, but It was fresh and flavorful. I will definitely be back again! read more

This was my first visit to Cava! It was DELICIOUS! Thomas was helping me create a fabulous bowl. He was the only person working on the serving line, too. He was fast, friendly, and helpful. WTF is this Cava... HORRIBLE service. I literally don't even have this app and I downloaded it because it was such a bad experience. The workers were all fighting in the assembly line and it was so uncomfortable and then they would snap at me? The worker making my bowl put literally nothing in it and then when I asked if he could add a little more I got charged for double..when there was hardly ANYTHING in my bowl (not even lettuce??). Officially never coming to this dysfunctional store ever again--even though it is so close to me! They say they open at 10:45, I get there at 10:55, the doors are locked and they said to go away because they don't have things ready yet. I wait 25 minutes and once I get in there the rude incompetent employee says they don't have any corn, pickled onions, chips, or avocado! It's really ridiculous how this place cheats customers by having lazy employees who can't even restock the condiments. The manger here is incompetent as well, she is running one of the worst business establishments I have ever been too! I will never come back to this location and will be contacting corporate to let them know how much of a disgrace this location is!!! read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. I came in at 9:11pm with my mother and grandmother. It said online that they closed at 10pm. The guy rudely came over and said that they "didn't have most of their toppings". So I went over to look and they had none!! So what we are supposed to eat chicken and rice?? I understand wanting to close early but at least put the toppings where you can still get to them so you can get your customers what they want. We walked out and took our business to the Panera next door where they were super nice and helpful. read more

Ordered food at 12:43pm 1/20/2023. App said pickup at 1:00 pm I got my food at 1:35. No "sorry about the delay" no management to speak to, just a QR code to leave feedback that didn't even work and just took me to a "search Druid hills" link on my phone.. Back to back poor service; last time peachtree location made an order that wasn't even close to what I requested then the guy got snippy because I brought it back a few hours later and he had to remake it. The food is good but the wait is always unnecessarily long. The workers always have scowls and hatred for their job and take it out on you. I've never been there and they've all not had an attitude. Something is always out or broken. It's pointless to order ahead on the app because everyone there will get their food before you get yours. You won't get your order until you arrive, wait 10-15 mins,, get asked if you've checked the to go orders you're clearly standing by and have constantly checked as it's past due for your food to be ready...... and then you ask about your order after catching one of the workers actively avoiding any person there. Wonderful restaurant but was disappointed today. I went to get a bite to eat around 3:50 pm and to get out of my car and have to smell the aroma of marijuana was just disgusting and that employees are the ones who out in the parking lot doing that is just unprofessional and not to mention I would have been even more outraged if my kids had been with me. We miss Zoe's Kitchen!!!! Bring it back! My friend and I ate at Cava today for the first time. 1) the person taking our order was not nice and very impatient. We were trying to figure out the menu and she was rolling her eyes at us. 2) we took the advice of the next employee who was much friendlier. Unfortunately, there were way too many flavors going on. The pita was stale. The chicken was unrecognizable. The roasted veggies and sweet potatoes were good, but were drowning in the dressing. We couldn't even finish our bowls. It was not good. I've been to this location about 20 times because I like the food so much. The problem is with the service. The workers are sitting around and on their phones. No one greets you. They look at you like "why are you here?" They slowly put their gloves on and look at you. Often I've had to say, hello, are you ready to take my order?" Then they just nod or grunt. They're always missing one or more items and just say "we're out" and if I go back and look before I leave it's been replenished. Many times they are out of drinks. I've never seen them refill them. There are two people that work the counter that if I see that I'm going to get them for help, I just walk out. Tonight I went in at 8:30 and they were out of four items - sliced tomatoes and onion, picketed onion, cheese and those crunchy things. I turned around and left. It's just sad to have such delicious food and horrible service. read more

I am a regular at all the local CAVA locations and out of all of them, this one is consistently late and wrong. Always check your order before leaving-- today the staff presented me with my late order missing pita chips, dressing, and a drink. Speaking of a drink, this location needs to get on the same page as others-- no other location has told me I'm not allowed a kid sized fountain drink instead of a pouch drink. In fact, a manager here told me it was a permitted substitution, but today the "manager on duty" (a woman with colored contacts) acted like I was trying to get over on her. Everybody is friendly but her. This is not the first time she's been rude, a few weeks back she sarcastically told me my order was "only" 17 minutes late. I don't feel comfortable coming back to this location, even though it's the closest, because of the wrong orders and the woman's attitude. And it sucks because CAVA bowls are life! read more
