CAVA is always a great option for when you're looking for a quick grab & go lunch! I honestly always forget that there is a CAVA right by the Sak's in Prudential and tend to go to the one outside, down the street. Not sure if it was just the day I went, Saturday afternoon, but service was very slow and only one person was working the front & making the bowls, one bowl at a time. I ordered my usual bowl, with arugula and saffron rice base with harissa honey chicken & lamb meatballs for proteins. I like to add corn, tomatoes, feta, pickled onions, and cucumbers, as well. For dips, I typically go with the tzatziki, eggplant, & crazy feta and for dressing, I opt for the garlic. Overall, I enjoyed my bowl! I did notice that the portion sizes here are definitely not as generous as you'd find at any of the other locations, including the ones in the city and even the one down the street.

My friend and I stopped by Cava for a quick lunch because it's conveniently located inside the Prudential Center, right behind View Boston. I ordered ahead using their app, which was super easy to use and made customizing my bowl simple. The food was delicious and everything tasted really fresh! I just wish the portion size was a bit more generous. It might be better to check out the over CAVA location down the street for better portions and seating though.. Staff were efficient and the pickup process was smooth

I enjoy visiting Cava when I get the chance, but I don't think I'd re-visit their Prudential location anytime soon. The food is tasty and service is pretty quick, but I was just very disappointed with the portion sizes here. Anytime I order a salad or bowl at other locations, it's usually enough for at least two servings for me. When I ordered the Steak Mezze Salad on my visit, it was barely enough for one serving. Especially when you consider the price, this just doesn't feel worth it to me. It was still tasty and the ingredients were fresh, but I wasn't super impressed.

Amazing make your own salad place! So delicious! Very busy for a 2:00 late lunch, which I think is a good sign! Location was perfect, right in downtown Boston. Think of this as a subway but for salads! There are so many options for literally everything! Lettuce, grains, meats, sauces, veggies, everything is so fresh. I was basic and just got a salad with arugula but you can add grains and pita. I added the chicken, humus, feta, and tomatoes. This was very filling for a late lunch. Also, there were so many drink options that weren't the typical coke, sprite, lemonade. They had their own take on it! This Cava had indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor seating was limited, so we sat outside. It was nice, but the tables were dirty, and they were out of napkins at the time so we couldn't wipe off.

Went here with my girlfriend before a date in the garden and it was lovely. Julie and Martino took care of us and were both so pleasant. The food itself was delicious. Great portions and could tell the ingredients were fresh. Overall would recommend to anyone in the area

This is a solid and reliable spot for a great grain or salad bowl. It's my go to! This is my go to spot for a filling lunch. It has great options for everyone. I feel you get your monies worth. During the cold months the space is limited, not a lot of seating is available. I love creating my own bowls and I love you can switch it up. On occasion you can get a person in the seating area that seems sketchy but it's near all the library where a lot of homeless people like to hangout m.

While they have good food & service, sometimes it's hit or miss here. It's basically your typical salad grain bowl place that you find all over the city. Although there are healthy options, when you're vegan you should be able to get more veggies for less money. There is apparently a rewards program but not really useful if the staff don't ask or tell you about & then you forget. When they are doing their prep work they need to make sure to chop things properly or end up w/ a huge chunk of something that you're not sure what veggie it is, nor does it look appetizing.

I love Cava, the food is always delicious and they have an abundance of vegan options. This location is inside the Prudential food court. Service was fast and friendly. Only thing is that the serving sizes here seem to be a bit smaller than other Cava locations.

    This is the spicy bowl.

The good is fresh and delicious. Not to mention healthy. The service was professional and friendly. And the location was perfect.

Cava is my favorite chain for bowls, they have it down to a great system and I love it! Would always choose this over any sweet green or digg.

Harissa bowl! Tastes wayyy better than it looks lol

This Cava is located inside the busy Prudential mall! An Occasional lunch stop for me. The harissa bowl is so so good. So many different components making it a deliciously, nutritious, and filling lunch. Pricey, but that's the Back Bay for ya!

    Lentil avocado bowl
    Alex M.

I based my visit on a friend's recommendation of a fast and healthy lunch option, and Cava delivered on both fronts. I ordered the Lentil Avocado bowl, one of the meat-free options. The serving of avocado was generous, but the bowl was very light on the rest of the ingredients. For example, I only received two small falafels and a sprinkle of lentils in my bowl. I also wasn't a fan of the contrast between the soft, overcooked carrots and the crunchy raw Brussels sprouts + cabbage. On a positive note, the service was very efficient and friendly. Clearly a popular lunch spot among professionals in the area, Cava's lunchtime rush moved surprisingly fast through the line.

What is wrong with this Cava? It seems like the staff wasn't paying attention to the work they do. I placed my order on the app. 15 minutes in advance for takeout. When I got there, they haven't even started making my order. It passed the promised ready time. He didn't even prepare my order right. My order was missing a lot of ingredients! It was missing everything besides chickens and arugula. I am so mad. I paid $11.75 before tax for just some chicken and arugula? Where is my tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled onion, corns, spinach, cucumber and romaine?

Really good falafel + I had enough to eat for leftovers, and I'd say I can usually eat the whole bowl from these types of places.

For my own birthday this year, I chose Oleana, supposedly one of Boston's best Mediterranean…read morerestaurants, and reservations are almost a month in advance. Overall, I was satisfied. Fatteh: The presentation was beautiful, with a delightful array of layers. Between two layers of crispy chips laid the chewy texture of fried mushrooms, the sweetness of cauliflower, the nutty aroma of pine nuts, and the refreshing sweet and sour taste of yogurt--a random combination that offered a different experience with every bite. The cauliflower, in particular, was crisp yet not tough, with a naturally gentle sweetness--a first for me. However, towards the end, the crispy chips became very slightly oily. Sultan's Delight: Perfect as a main course. The beef was stewed to perfection, incredibly tender and flavorful, almost falling apart the moment it touched the knife. It required absolutely no effort, reminiscent of a master butcher skillfully carving up an ox in Zhuangzi莊子, who kept his knife like new over nineteen years. The tamarind brought a slightly fermented, tangy aroma, while the smoked eggplant puree, likely babaganoush, was smooth and creamy with a mild, pleasant smokiness. The lemon juice, however, adds a refreshing touch, creating an interesting layering of acidity. It looked small, but it was surprisingly satisfying. The only downsides were the beef was slightly over-salty and the basil leaves, which seem to serve only a decorative purpose. Baked Alaska: A signature dessert, very popular on social media. Frankly, I came specifically for this, but after eating it, all I can say is, "Who's promoting this?"... The presentation was truly stunning, and the first few bites were quite good. The meringue was was torched to create a thin, burnt crust, resulting in a delicate and light texture, while the coconut ice cream blended with the bitter aroma of coffee. However, the base, a nut tart similar to a five-nut mooncake五仁月餅 filling, was too dense and heavy; the passion fruit syrup was excessively sweet and acidic, even a small amount was cloying, making it a torture by the end. The restaurant tables were a bit uneven and hopefully they will be repaired soon.

Something seemed off, in-authentic, shallow. just read a few reviews many of which seem to validate this burnished image and reputation. finally last Saturday night it was no longer an option to avoid an experience. There was an event to celebrate and I was invited. the propitious moment was hoisted upon me. would it measure up or be a mirage in the desert? Having never dined there I had no real experience to compare it with but for a Turkish-Mediterranean place it felt like all sizzle, no steak. While there are too many things to take issue with the most obvious is the wide discrepancy between the quality and quantity of portions relative to price. Under any circumstances the food was uniformly entirely unexceptional outside the fact it was consistently mediocre to poor. Tasteless, unimaginative, inappropriate cooked, greasy, ,lacking authentic spicing, and decidedly NOT presented for purposes of sharing. It is a deceptive approach to call it Tapas like and the predominant theme from our "primary waiter" was spend more money. The commercialization based on its reputation was frankly embarrassing and reason to cross it off a "must visit" list. Reminded me of a visit to Eastern Standard a few years ago. I have to imagine refined diners must have a wistful "used to be good attitude". My one and only trip made me feel like I was swindled at a Casablanca bazzar.

The menu refers to these as "Greek cheese bread" but somehow that doesn't do it justice - these were immensely pillowy and cheesy, with an amazing crust, with homemade honey butter on the side. I could have had just these for dinner and been satisfied. They really nailed the bread. My other favorites: 1. Hipiti: spicy whipped feta with crispy potatoes on the side. I don't do well with spice but I absolutely loved this. 2. Marouli: winter lettuce with the most amazing vinaigrette dressing. My only knock to this is, presentation-wise, they serve it with half of the plate empty and the other half with salad. I don't understand why restaurants do this because - one, it only highlights the smaller portion and two, we're just going to mix the salad all around in the bowl anyway. 3. Boudeto: daily catch in a beautiful tomato broth. For a seafood dish at a restaurant in Back Bay, this was priced at a fairly reasonable $28. The only dish that fell a little flat for me was the tzatziki - needed a bit more seasoning. As it was, I was eating mostly just plain yogurt. The table-side preparation was cool, though. The space is its own visual dinner, there's simply a lot to look at (including a drawing of Poseidon riding a surf board). We got the big table in the back, which was a beautiful glass structure with a whole terrarium underneath. We couldn't stop marveling at it throughout the meal. Our waiter was wonderful - very helpful recommendations, came by to check on us often even though we were pretty far in the back, super patient with our questions. Hard to get reservations but worth it! Don't bother driving / trying to find parking unless you're willing to eat a hefty garage fee, it's Back Bay.

Given that Mediterranean cuisine is generally pretty accommodating to that, not having even a falafel option for protein certainly came as a surprise! My first time here, we ended up with the fish and chips and baklava - both were edible but not great, and the best item on the table ended up being the complimentary bread (lots of end pieces, which I'm personally a fan of, but others may feel differently). The fish was uninspired and didn't taste like much, and the chips were steak fries, which lived up to the reputation of being less crunchy and seasoned. I was really excited for the baklava, but it also ended up disappointing. The texture was hardened, like it wasn't fresh, and it was so overpoweringly sweet that we couldn't finish it. On my second visit, the bread was just as good, and we ordered a nice spread: fried zucchini, spanakopita, beef dolmades, rice pilaf, and gyro (without meat). The gyro was sad without falafel or any protein option, but the veggies inside were pretty good. On the other hand, I wasn't a huge fan of any of the appetizers/sides. The fried zucchini was incredibly oily and wet, without much flavor; the rice pilaf did have some sauce on top but wasn't particularly tasty. The spanakopita was decent but I wouldn't go out of my way to order it again. I will note, however, that the staff was excellent, attentive and accommodating. The outdoor patio was also quite nice and a beautiful spot to sit on the street and people-watch.
