Today is National Pita Day, so I am posting my review today! To celebrate, if you are or become a member of their CAVA Rewards program, you get free Pita Chips on them! CAVA is a mixed bag for me. I have been several times, and sometimes it's been OK, sometimes not ok, and never great. This visit was right down the middle as well. This being the North Park Center store, the ambiance is pretty much food court, though I would describe it further as upscale food court. The service is not anything I would complain about at any of the CAVA locations I have visited. This one was no exception. The staff, though busy, was friendly, upbeat, and energetic. They kept the line moving so it kind of shielded you from the fact they were so busy. I ordered the Steak + Harissa Bowl. It is pretty decent. It has Steak, Feta, Red Pepper Hummus, Tomato, Cucumber Onion, Brown Eice and a Vinaigrette. So far it has been my favorite thing I have tried here.

Kyce hooked my bowl up! Thanks bro. I really enjoyed it and finished that bowl quick!

Went to NorthPark Mall and chose this place because I've heard some good things. Kind of like chipotle but more expensive, is what I heard. I went for it and should have not! It looked good but treated horrible. It was mostly cold, don't know if that's how it was supposed to be? Not sure if it's try again since it cost me almost 17 bucks for this small bowl.

We lucked into a good time to come here. I was walking around the mall after a busy work day, and Eric R. showed up and decided we should eat at Cava. He had heard about it because it recently became a public company, but we had never tried it before. We were the only people in line at the mall food court with under an hour before closing time, so the staff was very friendly and patient. She explained how we could make our own bowl and still get pita on the side. She let us taste the dips, proteins we were interested in, and dressings. It was like going to an ice cream shop! Eric R. ordered a bowl with half saffron rice and half splendidgreens, with braised lamb, harissa, feta dip, roasted red pepper hummus, pretty much all toppings except pickles, and the schug and garlic dressings. I got a bowl with half saffron rice and half lentils, with lamb meatballs, harissa, feta dip, eggplant dip, various toppings (red cabbage, pickled onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, kalamata olives, feta) with lemon tahini herb dressing and schug. It really was so tasty that we saved half of our bowls for lunch tomorrow. We were totally satisfied and really appreciated the great service. I went back to get a to go bag to carry our bowls to the car and they happily obliged. I could definitely return to try other things here. There are so many options for grains, greens, proteins, dips, toppings, and dressings!

I know, I know. Five Stars, but, trust me.... Go! These guys have hit a home run for many reasons. My diet is meat centric however, even I know when to ease up on the medium rare. CAVA has created a delicious, convenient, priced right, option to the usual fast food suspects. Think Chipotle with a Middle Eastern focus. Hummus,lamb,lentils..etc. it's all there and waiting for you. The drill is,get in line and either start building your own bowl by telling the counter person what you want or,order a predetermined entre. I went with building my own as,the lady in front of me was being instructed, making it easy for me to follow. My bowl started with pita, spinach, black lentils, falafel..etc etc until I had an outrageous bowl. I added lavender lemonade and it was lunch. Easy and I must say DELICIOUS! I've got my fingers crossed they'll open one by my home.. but for now just find one and .. Go!!!

It was my first time at Cava and Ashley and Joanne were so sweet and helpful! They were quick with service and made amazing recommendations. I had a bowl with half rice and half super greens as I'm trying to watch my carbs. The rice was delicious and the greens very fresh. I got the grilled chicken/ half harissa honey chicken (a little extra but worth it). The flavors were amazing. You her to pick 3 dips, unlimited toppings, and two dressings. The bowl was packed of flavor and protein. I'm visiting from california but now have to find a Cava near me. I just hope I get the same excellent service that this team provided!

Cava is definitely going on to my fav list!!! Especially staff at Cava@Northpark location, very friendly & patient. Outstanding customer service!!! They have bowls & wraps, made with all fresh ingredients & are super flavorful. You can look Cava as the Mediterranean version of Chipotle but loaded with healthier options. We ordered couple of bowls which were delicious. You can pick a bowl or a wrap from the menu or opt to make your own! Pita chips with tzatziki sauce is a must try. Definitely recommend Cava over chipotle and salata.

Great experience at this Cava! Compared to our previous experience with Cava at a different location. Food was great! And the attention to customer needs was great too! Earick was really helpful. This location is located in the mall in the food court. Makes for a fun experience and setting to eat. I would go here again.

Avocado Salad? I had a few bites but the staffed didn't fill it like I've seen in videos or their pictures.

We arrived early so the restaurant was not too busy but it started to fill by the time we left. The ambience remains upscale casual with a gracious greeting as you enter. We were given one of the half moon booths that faced outward to the restaurant. I ordered the hummus as a starter and it was very good. It's a mild hummus without a strong garlic element. It was very enjoyable. The wife started with babaganoush and loved it. The dip was smoky and very flavorful. For entrees, the kid had the Caesar salad and ate everything except the croutons. The wife had the spiced meatballs and loved them. The meat was tender and the sauce was very rich. I had the chicken kabob and I was in heaven. The kabob took quite a while to prepare, but it was worth the wait. The chicken was well marinated and very flavorful. Best of all, it had a smoky flavor from the char, but the chicken remained tender and moist. It was phenomenal. I wish I could have that every night. It came with sautéed vegetables that were prepared perfectly. And it included a white rice that had a rich buttery flavor. We all enjoyed our meal very much and we were happy to return to this restaurant. I need to put it in the rotation more often.

I visited this restaraunt for the first time and genuinely enjoyed everything I ordered. Starting off with appetizers, my friend and I ordered the pan shared halloumi cheese. This is paired with tomatoes and fig jam and is a wonderful accompaniment to the complimentary bread and olives served for the table. I'm a big fan of halloumi in general but this one was particularly cooked well and a must order for next time. For main entree I ordered Hunkar Begendi, which is sautéed marinated lamb tenderloin with red and green bell peppers over creamy eggplant puree. The lamb was in fact tender and perfectly seasoned and the eggplant puree went very well with the slight gaminess of the meat. I enjoyed this dish overall and it didn't feel too heavy, which sometimes is the case when I eat lamb. The pieces of meat were cut small enough while not being super tough, which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend this restaraunt if you enjoy trying Mediterranean fusion spots!

I'm not usually a desert eater, but their Tiramisu is to die for! The service is spot on, as if they anticipate your needs, but not intrusive. Fortunately, they had some space on the patio. It was a hot night however they had couple fans to blow away some heat. Food: Started with a salad which was fresh, flavorful and with large chunks of beets, watermelon, and feta cheese. Great appetizer. My wife and I wanted to try a couple of items to share for the main entree, I had branzino. The whole fish, filleted, and grilled. The flavor was rich, without being overly salty nor too oily. The sides 1. Grilled Branzino - Served with quinoa arugula salad 2. Ali Nazik- Chargrilled lamb shish over smoked eggplant puree served with bean salad on the side Both were fantastic. The lamb was cooked just right and turned out moist and tender. The eggplant puree was a great texture; neither too smooth to lose its integrity nor too chunky. The staff was attentive and helpful. Verdict: 9/10: Would definitely go back but with a reservation or in a mindset to sit in the heat on the patio. Also, the deboning process for the fish could've used a little more care, but that didn't take away from the flavor.

The good : flavors were delicious. Our server was attentive and the entire staff seemed happy to have us.The flat bread pide (at another table) looked sumptuous . Chicken shish kebab chunks were cooked well and seasoned nicely and were juicy. The complementary bread is superb. The yogurt dip that went with though was not enough for us to have more than a few bites. Needs improvement: there was no reason why the accompanying (delicious) bean and cucumber salad was 24 to 48 hours old with Limp cucumbers and parsley and flavorless tomatoes. Needs to be fresh daily and use cherry tomatoes or Campari tomatoes for flavor and crispness. Turkish Rice was meh. It was cooked properly but not a whole lot of flavor and perhaps I was expecting more of a Lebanese style pilaf with butter, nuts, spices, onions, etc. to brighten it up. Beyti minced beef had good flavor, but why did they have gristle in it? My dinner companion complains was that this was a cheap cut. The butcher supplier is not paying attention. It also could've used a little bit more sauce on the bread wrap pieces for added juiciness. We ordered the.Tzatziki yogurt dip which helped add juiciness . There was no reason why the Turkish red wine came out warm. I realize that we were in a Dallas summer at 95° at 9 PM and the restaurant was slightly warm but still. Lastly, the owners might think about mitigating the hard surfaces that reflect sound in the restaurant. It's a lively place, but we were subjected to the group of six women who were drinking enough to be loud and screechy across the room - all too common across the city -and I did not need to hear them yukking it up. The place was full on a Saturday night, which bodes well for this restaurant. The staff attitude is good, but I'm afraid this will not be a repeat for me and my companions. .
