Interesting that there are a bunch of new reviewers leaving 5 star reviews. This place is awful. No way around it. Lots of hype leading to the opening but they cannot get their ops right. Always out of ingredients. Service is spotty and take out orders constantly go missing or are over 15 minutes late because they prioritize dine in. Tried it twice and all I got was a soggy mess in a bowl or wrapper. Not going to try this place again. read more

I came to this location the day prior and enjoyed the food. Today when I came, the girl who was working, I didn't catch her name but she had some sort of blush and makeup done was extremely rude. While taking my order she was slamming the spoon as I asked her for my choices. Towards the end I realized my order cost more today than yesterday when I got the same exact order and the girl at the register said it depended on how they wanted to charge you. Was very excited to try this place, it was recommended by a nurse from St. Jude Fullerton. Unfortunately it was a big bust... considering it was my first time, which I mentioned. The customer service was bad.. I had no help with the options and I even had one girl wearing a bandana dismiss me and gave very much "I don't want to be here" attitude. For spending almost $25 on a bowl that was not that great I give this place a 2.5. Will not be returning unless someone I know really really wants to go. It took 25 minutes just to order. The food line was absolutely a mess. It looked like a hurricane just passed through. They ran out of a lot of items at 8 PM and they said they would not be replenishing it anytime soon. The next day we got sick and I think it was from eating the food from cava. They were such a mess in the way they handle the food and (not) keeping up with the food line. They did not clean the line and it looked so gross. Everything looked horrible, so of course if I got sick the next day, I'm going to think that it was from cava. I would not go back to this location again. I have never seen a food line that looked like that. p.s. the staff was fine I terms of interaction but they need to be trained so they can work more efficiently, quicker and with food safety in mind. read more

The girl who took my order looked so unhappy being there. I was there late around 9pm. Most likely college students working there but my gosh she was rude. I will try the Brea location going forth. Every time I order my food for pickup there is an issue. This is the 3rd pickup where they couldn't find my order. After one gentleman gets my name to check on my order, I wait over 10 minutes for him not to return. My order was supposed to be ready by 6:30 - I didn't get it until 7:10 pm. That was only thanks to Mya who was able to take time and look for my order. Unfortunately the worker in the back made it incorrectly. I was missing items, avocado being one that I paid extra for. I understand working customer service sucks sometimes but come on. I decided to give it a second chance and it was the same experience. Idk what's going on that all the workers seem so miserable. 3 stars because I am obsessed with the food here, could eat here every day but the parking lot has made me reconsider almost every time. And the last few times I've been skimped bad on portions. When not ordering meat most food places compensate by giving more of everything else but not here, I barely got rice in my bowl and it was all toppings. This location is close to me but I might have to start going to a farther one to avoid being disappointed. read more

This is what SweetGreens wishes it was. I didn't really know what to get because it's kind of build your own like chipotle so I got the premade Harissa Avocado bowl. It IS very expensive. I paid about $20. But the taste was good. I added tomatoes and it came with a side of pita. I was surprised by how spicy it was! It made my nose run. Very tasty. read more

Great food as always! They just opened this location yesterday, so it will have a few growing pains. Love the location, a lot closer to me than the Irvine and Anaheim hills locations. I usually enjoy Cava, but this location was a big letdown. From the moment we arrived, the staff was rude and inattentive--there wasn't a single smile or ounce of friendliness. One of the workers made my friend's bowl wrong due to her rushing for no reason (being that there was no line behind us), and instead of fixing it with courtesy she threw it away rudely, the next person in line had even more attitude. Placed and order through door dash on 8/27/25 and upon arrival of the order it was not sealed and the restaurant forgot the dressings for the salad and the pita chips that we purchased. Went through their online support to get some help because calling the restaurant was a joke to be told that I would have to file through door dash when it was their employees fault. DoorDash doesn't make the food and fill the orders they do. This isn't the first time this has happened with this location. We thought we pulse give them another try since the first time they forgot part of our order as well. Will not be ordering from them again their customer service was crap read more

One of my favorite places that is just like this in orange called hummus way has large servings and lots more options for the same price. Very, very disappointed today. Arrived after 1 pm and started our order for 2 bowls with a friendly server. Problems started almost immediately and just kept getting worse. Problem #1: Halfway through we were informed that steak had run out and it would be 20 minutes until it was ready. I opted for chicken instead, but my son wanted steak, so we waited. We were told that they would let us know, but no one ever informed us that steak was ready. Not a very big deal though as he ended up placing his order online and we waited in the restaurant. Problem #2: Order was scheduled for 1:30, but it wasn't brought out until 1:50. 20 minutes late and after not having the meat ready when we were in line? Frustrating! Problem #3: Got to the car and discovered there was no pita included. Decided to go home, as I had leftover pita. We should have checked the rest of the order, but made the mistake not to. Problem #4: Got home and my son started eating. Order was completely wrong. He ordered splendid greens and instead got spinach. He ordered rice but none was in bowl. He is driving all the way back to the store right now to get his bowl redone since so much of it was wrong. I'm hoping they will provide a refund or discount because after all these delays and mistakes, something should be offered. Managers,..... who is checking on food running low to make sure that a new batch is being made in a timely manner? As much as I have enjoyed this food in the past, and as nice as the staff is in general, I will hesitate to return with this type of very poor customer service. The chicken we got was 50% charcoal hard and black was so burnt had to spit out most of it. Ruined the meal. I've been to other cava locations and they are much better quality than this one. Lines were very long and slow the last few times I've been. This trip was better on the wait but the food quality has gone way down hill. Most likely won't be coming back to this location. Today, I ordered my dinner via CAVA app. It says food will be ready in 30 minutes. 40 minutes later, when I arrived the store to pickup my order, it was not ready even I see no customer in the store that moment. 6 staffs on duty, only two people working on to go order. Five minutes later, someone asked my name, and they found that my order has not printed yet. I waited another twenty minutes to get my order, but meat and pita are cold and hard like rocks. Hi there! I have been to the new Fullerton Cava location a few times since it has opened, and each time I have been met with friendly workers and excellent food! However, after my visit today it really is going to make me think about returning to this location. Nicole very rudely took my topping order as she rushed me saying "that's it??" in a hostile manner. I had also asked her if she added a sauce to my bowl, to which she responded with, "I already did" and rolled her eyes.
