A great place if you're on a budget. The food is good enough to go back however I find Cava to be inconsistent. Even though the staff is kind I find them to be disorganized and always confused with who is helping someone next. Although I have been to multiple locations the location in McKinney off of University Dr. tends to stop wanting to work around 9:00 when they close at 10:00. They run out of food having to make more while people are waiting plus breaking down the drink machines way too early near 9:00 pm before closing. Frisco's location off of Maine St. I haven't seen any of this happening and they have it together till 10:00 pm. The food does seem fresh most of the time though. read more

Come to cava if you want good service and good food! The lady helping was named kayla and we both realized at the same time the cook was behind and there wasn't enough steak for the portion of protein that's usually there and she was nice enough to give me another protein added to the steak for the price of one. Also since they didn't have enough steak she gave me my drink, pita chips, and a side of hummus for free. Every ingredient tasted high quality, and there were so many delicious options to customize my bowl exactly how I wanted it. I first came and tried the land meatballs and whoever yall have on grill at nighttime, KEEP THEM ON, those were the best things I ever had from a Mediterranean restaurant! The young lady named Jas i believe was beyond respectful of my slow order time sorry and the short smaller lady with the black shirt was also very nice and recommended the meatballs as well as the mango limited time only drink and some pita chips. I have eaten at several Cava's and I do like the offerings-fresh, healthy and fast. I never get the sauces or dips because they're creamy or creamy looking (texture issues). But.... K.C. talked me in to trying the vegan dressing and the balsamic. The vegan dressing is really good and while it's not my preference, K.C. was correct on that balsamic dressing! So delicious! Had a great experience with Kayla at McKinney 380/Hardin location. When I placed and online order, the pick up time was for 45 minutes later and I needed to get back to the office in 30 minutes.
