Great nail salon! Clean, fast and long-lasting mani/pedis!

They pay a lot of attention to the techniques that they use to give you the perfect shape. The only reason why I am giving 3 stars is because of the nail polish that they use. Super sheer and I am pretty sure that they saw the coat was uneven and you can see some of my natural nail color under the dark one I had picked out. I highly recommend this place, it is the only nail salon that makes my mani and pedi last. Their products are top quality and they offer seasonal complementary (YES FREE) treatments like hot paraffin in the winter or aloe gel massage in the summer with any service. This is my local nail salon and I have been coming here for years. They recently remodeled and the store is bright and clean. They keep up with the new NYC nail salon health requirements and take cleanliness and sterilization very seriously. I usually have a pedicure and massage and the occasional manicure. The quality is always great. While I generally use Lena, who is wonderful, the other gals are excellent too. The owners are very concerned about customer satisfaction and work hard to keep up with all the trends. I particularly like their virtual nails. Over the years I have tried other salons, but keep coming back to CC nails...for me, they are the best in the neighborhood. read more

I've never written a review before because I hate complaining. This is also the reason that when I went Sunday for the "Classic Spa Pedicure" I didn't flip out at the horrified woman when she sliced into my foot with what looked like a cheese grater. I didn't have any callous to begin with but I wanted do extra to pamper my feet for the start of summer. This. Was the result. It started bleeding (which when a cut is in water you know it looks like a lot more blood) and she proceeded to get nervous and put "alcohol" on it which began burning and I'm fairly positive it was antiseptic to clean the nail tools not an open wound. I debated asking for a refund but again, I felt bad. She put a bandaid on it and I left (with rougher feet than I came in with!). I took this picture Tuesday morning and it still really hurts to put on shoes it almost feels like a burn the skin is just really raw. PLEASE don't go here. read more

In town for a visit and after days of walking I was ready for a pedi! This place was great - don't be deterred by the less modern looking shop, my manicurist was attentive, and did an excellent job. A basic pedicure included filing, cuticle care, foot spa, exfoliation, massage and moisturise, heel and foot scrubbing, paraffin heel wrap plus a good job on the polish too. And to finish it off a mini shoulder massage once moving to the drying table. Excellent value. read more

Before my big night out I decided to get myself pampered and pretty at my fave nail salon! Walked over & got scared they were closed due to a construction project going on directly outside, but thankfully I saw Suki the owner waving at me from inside & warmly welcomed me in. Lena took care of me & gave me a perfect mani& the most Amazing & needed 20min massage. They also have begun using as part of their service keratin gloves which I promise you will make your hands feel like a newborn babies!!And It's included in manicure!! Sooo awesome! Left there & was more excited about my night out than ever!! Trust me, I have been to a lot of nail salons & this one is home to me :))). read more

This place is terrible, I'm not sure how or why they got rated so highly. The polish selection is terrible. The ladies are rude and don't really care about you or heck up on you. It's dirty and they do a rush job. They literally used paper towels instead of real towels. I came in here for a pedicure but my nails are still dirty and I don't feel relaxed at all. I was visiting my brother in NYC for a quick weekend and had some time to kill before my bus. Popped in here for the best manicure I've had. People always say NYC is so expensive (and, in many respects, it absolutely is), but I live in DC and a mani-pedi there is at least $40. I didn't have time for a pedicure, but I got a manicure for $11 and a massage while my nails dried for an additional $9. Great deal, great staff, excellent nail polish selection--wish I could come back more often! read more
