My vehicle was involved in an accident a few weeks ago. Repairs were covered by State Farm insurance. CDE is one of their preferred partners. It's close to my house and came recommended by a few friends. So this is where I dropped off my vehicle. Drop off was very easy. They have an ongoing relationship with the nearby enterprise Rent-A-Car. So I was able to be picked up without any issues. Throughout the time that my car was at CDE I was kept Informed of their progress. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. This morning I got a text and phone call telling me that my vehicle was ready for pick up. The bodywork is excellent. You'd never know I was in an accident. But the icing on the cake, my interior, due to taking kids to football baseball, etc. was pretty disgusting. CDE cleaned it so it looks like new! What a pleasant surprise. I had a rust bubble form on the passenger side rear quarter panel of my 2015 Jeep Patriot, right by the wheel well arch. If you don't address that kind of of rot in a timely manner, it's only going to get worse. The road salt and other muck of a midwest winter will only accelerate the problem. After submitting photos and answering questions online to obtain a quote, I was slotted for the following week, with a completion date of three days. Terrible services and very rude disrespectful employees. I went in to pick up my vehicle in July and when I went in it was not done correctly also I asked Richard when I dropped off my vehicle that I wanted to keep my parts and he promised that he would have them ready when I come to pick up the the I noticed the paint was not correct scratches that were not there and also that he threw away my bumper. I told him I wanted it and he started to be very difficult and telling me that I got what I paid for.Richard was being very disrespectful insulting me telling me he will give me a bumper from an Audi what am I going to do with an Audi bumper when I drive a Acura. My 16-year-old daughter had her first fender bender and it was also our first experience working with CDE collision center. First off, the place is absolutely spotless, I mean super, super, super clean Inside where all the work is done. That makes a great impression right off the bat. Also, all the cars that are waiting to be picked up are kept inside and look like brand new. My sales rep, Dave, told me about one of the cars and how banged up it was when it came in, but seriously, it looked brand new. Also, without even realizing they had my cell phone number, I immediately received a text alerting that if I wanted to, I could receive text updates every step of the way as they were working on my car. I replied yes and received text updates each of the two days my car was in the shop. They worked directly with my insurance company (MetLife) so the whole experience was seamless. Not only did my car, too, look new when I picked it up, but the inside was splotless....I mean spotless. Great job CDE. CDE is great at what they do. I was in a minor fender bender in my 2015 Maserati and CDE was a recommended shop from Maserati Fields. The entire process was seamless. I made an appointment with Dave, met with him and went over the damages and left him the key. I was notified regularly with where they were in terms of completing the repairs and explained the entire process, step by step. Dave was great; he worked with the Allstate insurance agent of the insured who was at fault to gather supplements to complete the job. Once it was complete, Dave called me to let me know that he had brought my car the Maserati Fields to get inspected for the quality of work and they signed off and stamped my paperwork with their approval. Shortly after that, I picked her up! She looked even better than how I bought her! I'm so pleased with the work CDE provided and I will be back with my other vehicles in the future. Stopped here for an estimate and when I entered the two working there were not wearing mask. I was and it is a mandate in our area currently. Rich asked me to remove my mask so that he could understand me and I said no thank you. I said you can understand me just fine. I should have left then but I waited for the estimate. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this place, it was amazing. Beautiful facility, friendly and professional personnel, from the front desk, to the back of the house. The job was done in record time. Even though the insurance covered 100% of the damage, the price was still reasonable, and the work was absolutely flawless. It looks like a brand new car. Lots of little extra touches too which shows there's personal pride in the job they do. Recently brought my wife's 2013 Mercedes E-350 4Matic to C.D.E. in Buffalo Grove for an estimate to repair damage to the front bumper and driver side fender due to the front bumper getting stuck on top of a high curb; when the car was backed up, the bumper and fender both got pulled forward, wires from a light were dangling and the plastic liner under the fender was hanging down. [Mercedes dealer gave an estimate of near $2000 to do the repair, noting that the current bumper and fender would not fit back exactly as before they were damaged.] Dave Donovan, the estimator, told us that the bumper would have to be removed to inspect the damaged parts, and then he would give us an estimate for the complete repair. The next day he called and told me that the repair would be $188. He told me that the bumper and fender could be put back in place, along with the fender liner, but a light socket needed to be replaced and the broken wires could be reattached. He also told me that the car would be ready in a couple of days. After thanking him for such good news, I hung up and told my wife what the repair cost would be. Then, I wondered if I had heard him correctly. So, I called Dave back and asked him to repeat the estimate. He laughed and said: $188. We picked the car up yesterday and it looked really good. The bumper and fender appear lined up and are secure, and the lights all work. And the car had been washed! Very happy are we. T. Booden read more

Fantastic service. Brought my car in for an estimate for front end damage to my car ($3400+) and they worked quickly with my insurance company to agree on the estimate. Made appointment for work to be started on 3/19/18 (they estimated 4 to 5 days to complete) and arranged for Enterprise rental car to meet me at CDE. I signed in and was out with my rental car in 10 minutes. CDE kept me up to date on the status by daily texts. The work was completed on 3/22 and I picked it up on that date. I left the keys for the rental car with CDE who called Enterprise to arrange for pick up. Not only was the work completed to perfection, my car was completely cleaned, both on the inside and outside, immaculately. Received quote before took SUV into shop. When I dropped SUV off I reminded them of the quote and was told they would call me. They never called about the quote so I thought all was okay. 1 1/2 weeks later they call me telling me SUV is ready to pick up - ends up they didn't perform all of the work - I asked why all of the work wasn't done received lame excuse (difficult spot...). If they weren't going to perform all of the work they should have been professional about it and tell me BEFORE they did any of the work and I would have picked up my SUV and taken it somewhere else. Unprofessional/Inexcusable. Also, estimate submitted to insurance included replacing outside damaged mirror - when I picked SUV up was told they didn't replace the mirror I asked why and Dave couldn't provide a reason. I took SUV from the shop anyways but complained same day wanting to understand why mirror wasn't replaced. The next day I received a voicemail stating that the damage to the mirror wasn't noticed which is why they didn't replace. Sorta odd given replace damaged mirror was on the actual estimate that they submitted to my insurance (so they noticed it then they didn't?). Also, they replaced my fender but the replacement fender had a small dent - I had them fix it but shouldn't have happened in the first place. As soon as I dropped called to arrange the appointment I had a bad feeling that this was a mistake - wish I had listened to my gut. read more

I went to CDE collisions at the beginning of the summer after an accident where a person rear ended me. After being frustrated about the accident, it was refreshing and calming to walk into such an organized and stress-free environment. They assured me they could fix the damage and went above and beyond to fix minor damage that wasn't quite from the accident. They are such a happy and welcoming staff!
