Stopped by the Westminster location and was pleasantly surprised, the shop is small but the line moves quickly. We came primarily to this location for the weekend-only banana matcha soft serve in a caramelized croissant cone. While the banana flavor was faint, it was still delicious and the cone added a nice touch (though a freshly made one would make it even better). We also tried the strawberry matcha and tiramisu einspanner, both on the sweeter side but still very enjoyable. Pastries here aren't just pretty; they taste good too. Highlights were the pistachio croissant, chocolate almond croissant, and the crème brûlée donut, which had a more lemon-tart filling taste instead of the usual custard. Came here exclusively on the weekend for their croissant cone with banana matcha soft serve. It's their only flavor and I'm not a fan of bananas, but was willing to try this out since I still do love matcha. I was disappointed to find the cone was soft... not sure if they're able to make it crispy but glad I tried it out. It was a bit pricy at $8.70 with tax. HOLY YUMMY!! The donuts are SOOOO FLUFFYYYYYY!!! the cream on the top is my favorite , so simple but sweet and good. For the matcha orange, I wasn't a fan of the orange but the matcha flavor was PERFECT. The pistachio donut could use more pistachio flavor. The strawberry matcha was 50% sweet but still super sweet. The matcha is great quality though! The pistachio latte was just their regular latte with pistachio cream top (which was FIRE) . The service was good, they were nice and waited patiently for me to change my mind 100 times. The vibes there is so clean. The tables are a bit lower though , so if ur taller than ur back might hurt. And it's hard benches. They do have WiFi though. Thus, I wouldn't recommend it as an all day study spot. Definitely a place to catch up with friends ! 10/10 read more

Just want to start by saying that I absolutely love their Garden Grove location, as they make really delicious and creamy lattes, so when this new location opened up I was so excited to try it in addition to the new items they carry here. To say the least I was severely disappointed and will stick to going to Garden Grove. Inside, the cafe is incredibly cute and although small, the large windows make it feel so open and cozy. You can see all the pastries lined up at the counter and they look so yummy. When we ordered at the counter, the staff were incredibly nice and was very happy to answer our questions. Something to note is that when I came here, they didn't have any espresso so they couldn't make the latte I usually liked, which is fine so we opted for the matcha instead. In addition to the drink, we got the banana matcha soft serve with the croissant cone and the garlic bread. While the aesthetics and service were really great, the drinks and foods were lacking. To start with the drink, the matcha, although very pretty and green, was somehow so watery and kind of had a weird aftertaste that we didn't like. We couldn't finish the drink and ended up throwing it out. As for the foods we got, we liked the garlic bread and they were kind enough to have it toasted so it was warm when biting into it. It was perfectly sweet and savory, and our favorite item of three. Something to note is that it was a bit hard and chewy, but I just chalked it up to it being left out to sit during the morning, as I came in the afternoon. As for the Banana matcha cone, we were left underwhelmed and kind of disappointed. When it was first given to us, it was extremely hefty but visually looked so good. It was only when we tasted that the flavor was lacking and the ice cream texture was really icy. I did not taste the banana flavor at all and the texture was not smooth nor creamy. As for the cone, it was really hard and sticky, and you really have to bite down to get a chunk to taste and even then it was difficult to chew through. The best parts of the cone was when the cone didn't overlap at they were the thinnest and crunchiest. We also had a problem with the cone leaking, so if you do really want to try this eat it fast. Overall I can't see myself coming back knowing that there really are better coffee and pastry shops around the corner. If you really want to go to ced, I would just go to the other location as the novelty of the banana matcha cone is not worth coming for. read more

I love this little cute coffee shop. You can ask to adjust the sweetness level if you'd like. I got the double matcha with only 1 pump of the simple syrup and I liked it. However, if you don't like the raw flavor of matcha I suggest you get the drink as is. I've also had their pistachio and tiramisu einspanner and both were also really good, but on the milky side. I would like more "coffee." This location is smaller and my only issue with this is that there was only 1 person making the drinks and taking the orders. So it took a little longer. They need to hire more people or have the other person in the back come to the front to take orders while the barista makes the drinks. read more

This spot is really small, but super clean and bright inside. When we got there, it was empty but filled up so fast! Lines were literally out the door and I felt pressured to order right away haha. The soft serve ice cream was so good and the cone is caramelized. I also ordered the double strawberry matcha, and that was also really good. My husband got a cold brew and it was so acidic. Soft opening and wow, this place is so beautiful and spacious. The pastries are fresh and delicious! They have croissants as samples that my friend and I tried. I came by yesterday and tried a Double Matcha. It was probably one of the better matchas we had all week, but too much ice, not enough drink. The parking lot is also crazy. I only wish they had more menus, because the only menu I saw was when you got to the cashier/ordering area. By then there were people behind me, so I had to quickly decide what I wanted to drink. I did not get a chance to check the menu on yelp beforehand. Post a large menu behind the workers, or one on the glass doors so I can look before I get in. First time at Ceds and I heard this is their second location :). The plaza they are located in is notorious for being crowded and difficult to find parking. I came close to 4PM today (Saturday) and we found parking easily! The ambiance of the shop is so calm and clean, very aesthetic! The person who took my order was a sweet man! First and foremost, I am so happy they opened a second location, which is even closer to me than the other, because it is by far one of my favorite coffee places! Not only do they have delicious coffee and pastries, but also the most aesthetic layout. Maybe I'm too observant but I noticed that all of the appliances are brand new and all matched one another. They even have an espresso machine built into one of their counters making it look sleek and clean. When you first go in, you're greeted by the sweetest older gentleman who I am assuming is the owner or manager! He is knowledgeable and gives the best recommendation based on what you usually like. For example, I told him I enjoy a latte that is sweeter but nuttier which led him to recommend me a Pistachio Einspanner. As someone who isn't the biggest fan of pistachios, I very much enjoyed it! The taste from the espresso itself mixed with the pistachio cream top made everything taste well balanced. It was not overly sweet or bitter! I've also had their strawberry matcha! A lot of matcha places use syrup nowadays for it but this place uses strawberry purée which I appreciate. As for pastries, I haven't tried them all but I definitely always go for their spinach and artichoke or strawberry croissant! Their croissants are well flavored and layered. When I say layered, I mean layer! Unlike ordinary croissants, they don't flake off like crazy which is appreciated for a messy eater as myself. Overall I love this place and will always come back! I've been to the Ced location in Garden Grove but like this location better because of parking (came on weekday morning/afternoon) and the selection of more pastries. Seating is limited but the place is aesthetically pleasing. Staff is so friendly; I think I met the owner the past two times I went but unsure. He was so helpful in deciding what coffee to get bc all the coffee options sound so good! I tried the pistachio latte with extra ice, and it was amazing! The flavors of pistachio and coffee were well-balanced, and neither overpowered the other. It wasn't too sweet, which was a nice touch. I've also had their tiramisu latte, which was a bit too strong for my taste, but perfect for anyone who loves a big caffeine kick. The Brown Sugar Einspänner latte was sweeter, but I liked it because it's just how I prefer my coffee. What sets this place apart is the sweet cream they put on top. It could make the coffee too sweet, but instead, it adds more flavor and creaminess. The pistachio latte has a pistachio paste with actual pieces of pistachio, which sounds like a lot, but it blends perfectly with the drink. I tried their spinach and artichoke pastry. The bread is so buttery and creamy; the artichoke adds a nice flavor to the pastry. Highly recommend, 10/10! Looking forward to trying more pastries :) read more

The drink prices are between $6-$8 (with mods) but no drinks today, I came for the banana matcha soft serve only available at this location on the weekends. The banana flavor took a few bites to come through but was pleasant! I love the icier texture in this soft serve in comparison to SomiSomi. 9/10 for the soft serve. Located in a busy vietnamese shopping plaza, this bakery store is serving up Korean style pastries. What caught my eye was their line of savory croissants and I immediately gravitate towards the egg mayo croissant in display. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and explained each of the pastries to me. After I ordered, he offered to warm up the croissant which I highly recommend. Overall, the croissant was very delicious! It was rich and buttery and the egg/mayo combo also added well to the flavor without being overpowering. I would easily come back again and try all their other croissants both savory and sweet along with all there coffees selections which I did not try this time. Other than that the store is clean and modern appearing. It's a little small, there's a couple stools inside to a high table where you can enjoy your food/drinks. I also tried a tiramisu donut (not pictured). My favorite item was the donut and croissant. They both tasted fresh and the sweetness level was perfect. The banana matcha soft serve was okay and the "cone" it was served in was very unique. The banana flavor tasted slightly artificial instead of real banana flavor so I wasn't the biggest fan. The double strawberry matcha was not bad but didn't have a strong matcha flavor which is how I prefer it. It was very milky. The place is clean and organized, since it was our first time we ask cashier to recommend a few things and ended going with her suggestion on tiramisu coffee and macha yuzu drink.
