This place is our absolute favorite Chinese restaurant in Burbank (and we've basically tried them all). Salt & pepper tofu is SO GOOD - loaded with jalepenos and garlic on top, and always fresh out of the fryer. I always go for moo goo gai pan (my standard order) and my fiancé gets beef chow fun - the absolute best chow fun we've ever tasted. Full portions are a great price & are large enough for 2 or 3 meals - if you can stop eating, that is. Finally, the service here is excellent! The people are so nice and friendly, and they always greet us regulars with a "welcome back!" By the way, we eat here so often that my fiancé actually proposed to me at Century Dragon. Let me begin with this, I'll drive from Ojai, Ca to this location just for their orange chicken... it's AMAZING. If you pass up on this place you're doing yourself disservice. This is an amazing well kept secret, that must be shared among more of the Burbankians. Inexpensive, delicious, great service always very polite. Orange chicken has not only the best sauce ever but each individual chicken bite is the prime piece of meat that has you full after each bite. More delicious plates to try too! read more

I used to love this place so much since the food is super tasty and the people seemed very friendly. Over a year ago, I went and ate at the business I felt like the meal I paid for was a reasonable amount of food and I was able to take home some for left overs. I recently ordered pick up this time and was absolutely disappointed and shocked at how dramatically small the portion size has changed, yet prices remained the same. The to-go containers are incredibly shallow now and feel equivalent to a small side. I got beef and broccoli which was delicious, but had hardly any beef in it. Very sad, because I do love this place. read more

i've been eating since 2006. The food was always awesome. My friends liked it to the soup is to die for hot and sour couple days ago I went in I had chicken was not cooked correctly. I did tell the waiter. It was surprising to me that they didn't do anything to compensate me. I will give them one more chance if it's bad again I have to say goodbye for a while. read more

I guess if you put the word bistro it's supposed to be good? I was led by all the great reviews but my fellow yelpers steered me wrong or they have NO clue what good Chinese food is!!!! I should've gone to my go to place but I happened to be in the area and because of the reviews I decided to give them a try. Big Mistake! HUGE!!!! This had to be the most tasteless Chinese food I've had on the west coast with no depth of flavor whatsoever!!!! A total disappointment that came with a $30 tab! I feel like I was used and abused! I ordered the calamari (subpar) the hot and sour soup (flavorless, with a weird after taste and barely spicy) and the worst shrimp in lobster sauce I have ever eaten (flavorless and a massive amount of water chestnuts)!!!!! I won't be back, heed this review, and I want my money back!!!! FYI I grew up blessed with eating food from Chinatown NYC the owners should go there for a reference point on what real Chinese food is and please drop the word bistro! The food comes fresh and fast. The prices are way too much for the (zero) service after you get your meal. We have been there many many times. And yet not get asked, "how is everything?" They also only give each of us one small napkin. OK - so they want to save money, I get it, but how much is one single napkin, 0.01 cents? Also, for take out, they give you a very flimsy and very very small fork. Wow - really? We're done. Bye-ie. read more

I ordered the Mongolian Beef with door dash. The food arrived and all was good until I noticed they only included one small scrap of beef. It was a tray of onions ands sauce. No beef. I called to complain and the person that answered the phone said that is how they do it with door dash. That makes no sense and they refused to fix it. The person that answered my call was very rude. $14.95 waisted. I will never order from them again. read more

Honestly the delivery here is the best. Not only is it $2, but the food is almost on par with dine in to me. No matter what I always order the Empire Shrimp and Salt and Pepper Tofu. They both have incredible crunch factor and soft chewy center. Best Chinese in Burbank. read more

I have been eating at this wonderful little spot for years and years and years. Lunchtime dinner it doesn't matter it's always spot on delicious. I can't believe I have a Yelp before the food is fresh always plentiful well priced it with some of the kindest people serving you. I've had some wonderful times eating in yet we have probably taken out or hand-delivered even more times. I don't have a strict favorite but the walnut shrimp sure puts a smile on my face. We're not indulging in that I like almost anything that has vegetables in it. They're never overcooked always just right. I love this little place and I hope they never go away read more

I love this place. The people that work here are so friendly and fun. I appreciate how welcome they make us feel. The place is comfortable and clean which is important as well. And the food! Yummy. They have a very diverse menu, from traditional to chef specials to vegan and vegetarian, their steamed dishes are my favorite. I don't know how they make steamed vegetables and tofu taste so good. I have also had the steamed fish and veggies, just as tasty. My friends have had a few different dishes, the fried wontons, orange chicken, chicken and vegetables, Chinese chicken salad, and snow peas with water chestnuts, which reminds me, EVERYTHING is so fresh. So whether you are looking for traditional (American) Chinese to healthy to vegetarian it is all here. Also, there is parking in the back. read more

Nice spot open til 10pm daily! Good prices and good food! I yelped this place on the way back from Universal Studios to our hotel in Burbank at 9pm. Luckily they were open late and we got our food to go! The Mongolian beef was nicely flavored and tender lots of onions though. The pan fried noodles were perfect with the sauce on the side. The salt and pepper pork chops were my favorite. And the chicken and bean sprouts were tasty as well . The Wor Wonton soup had a bunch of meat and veggies. I'd definitely come back if I was craving Chinese food and in the area. read more

Place is often overlooked thanks to the buzzing location that is Porto's. Had no idea it was even there. I have had the pork fried rice and the kung pao chicken lunch special. Pork had a slight sweet taste and firm texture; not chewy. The fried rice was not bland and the addition of green onions elevated the flavor. I felt it could have been more savory, so I added a tad more soy sauce. The chicken was also cooked correctly with the chilies and veggies of the kung pao. It had some heat but it was probably compounded by how hot and fresh the dish was. I will most likely be returning. Takeout only. read more

One of my favorite Chinese Restaurants. I love their Empire Shrimp which is basically Salt & Pepper Shrimp without shells. Schezchuan Hot Garlic Beef is another winner. I get 3 orders of their Wor Won Ton Soup to-go whenever I'm feeling under the weather or injured. Cute, smallish dining room. Very fresh tasting food. Also try their Beef Chow Fun! read more

My son and I walked in at 1:30 pm on a weekday. An employee greeted us. The restaurant was empty. We took menus and sat down and waited...and waited...and waited. Finally, I saw someone behind the register and I said we would like to order. The man came over and took our order. He was not particularly friendly or welcoming. A short while later, the same man came and delivered my son's food. And I waited. My son was halfway done with his food when the waiter finally brought my food. The food was ok. The waiter never returned to check on us. After we finished, I looked for someone to pay the bill. We waited and waited. Finally another person showed up behind the register, and I paid. Needless to say, we won't be going back. read more

We ordered Lo Mein w/ beef, curry chicken, sesame chicken, steamed fish filet with veggies, bbq spare ribs and combo fried rice. The lo mein was ok although my wife said it was a little salty. The curry chicken was chalk-full of veggies and light curry sauce so if you like it soupy, you might have to ask for extra sauce. The sesame chicken, steamed fish filet with veggies, and combo fried rice was perfect. I'm on a restricted diet so this steamed fish filet with veggies is my new favorite! We were too full to have the bbq spare ribs so that will have to be on a different review. As far as the atmosphere, we have always enjoyed the great service at this place. It has a small town joint feel (probably cos they remember us every time we go). read more

I didn't see any egg and even though the rice was tender, was like in a jelly mold instead of loose fluffy rice. Pros: 1. By the time the driver delivers the food it will have been two hours since placing the order on Uber Eats. Can't risk this happening again.

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately my experience at Century Dragon was very disappointing. I ordered food to-go, and from the start, the service wasn't the most welcoming. The person who attended me seemed uninterested and not very courteous, which already set a negative tone. When we got home, things got worse. My wife tried her food first -- the ribs had almost no flavor at all. She gave it another try thinking maybe it was just that piece, but the second one was exactly the same... completely bland and disappointing. Then came the worst part. When I opened my food, I found a long hair inside one of the ribs. That completely ruined the experience for me. It was honestly unpleasant and unacceptable. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this felt like a combination of poor quality control, lack of attention to food preparation, and definitely questionable hygiene standards. I hope the management takes this seriously. Customers deserve better care, especially when it comes to cleanliness and food quality. Right now, I can't recommend this place based on my experience. read more

I love the food!!! The soups/eggrolls/dishes are the best for the cheapest prices i can find! the lunch specials are great and you can always order half orders which is plenty for anyone, for cheaper prices. The service isn't as good as it has been in the past. Why, I don't know. Just switching out people i guess. But it's still friendly and better then most places. And for those of you commenting on the soup to go...you CAN get it to go, you just have to order the half order. They don't do cups to go, too small. do not ever eat here!!!! number one i went inside the restaurant once and they had food sitting out that looked like it had been sitting there for a couple hours and they had rat droppings on the floor by the kitchen...ewwww and worse of all they have the worst customer service ever, i had a complaint about them not getting the order right and the son of the manager that worked there was cussing at me and came into my face like he was gonna hit me (let me remind you i am a female). very unprofessional will file a police report. no excuse for this behavior. do not eat here,,,horrible food and even worse service yuck!!!! read more

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. They are quick preparing the food and the customer service is great. I order food from them at least 2 times a week. They know my name and know exactly what I want. Shame on anyone who gives bad reviews to this place. And their lunch special prices are extremely reasonable. I had lunch here yesterday with a couple of my friends and surprisingly enough the food was very good. Me and two others had the combination lo mein which was very tasty and such a large portion as well. Each plate was enough for two people. One of my other friends who is a really picky eater got the orange chicken and loved it. The egg rolls were a different story - both sauce lids were completely off the sauces and unfortunately for me, the sauces were IN the box with the egg rolls. All the sauce from each (one spicy, one sweet and sour) were all over the place including the four egg rolls, which were now drenched in both spicy and sweet and sour sauce. Because of that, they were too soggy to even pick up, nor would I ever put a soggy impossible to pick up egg roll anywhere near my mouth. Those went into the trash. Happy to say that the soup was okay. A little had spilled into the plastic bag, and it was difficult to get the literal cup of soup out of the bag without spilling more, but I managed. Now, when I say literal cup of soup, I mean the soup was in what looked like a cardboard coffee cup. I suppose that's fine and they did as I asked and left the shrimp out - the broth needed a little salt, but once that was added it hit the spot. In closing, learn how to attach a lid, Dragon Street.
