I am very picky with my Chinese food. That being said, this is the best I have found in this area, and I love that it is in a location I can drive to without too much of a hassle. Got veggie moo shu, veggie eggrolls and sesame balls. Everything was packaged well and survived the trip home intact. All the dishes tasted very good, fresh and good flavor. Currently it's not possible to get the full experience at China Lite. The main dining room is closed off and it's filled with to-go boxes and containers, leaving the front dining room a bit of a mess. Unfortunately when dining in, everything is also served on paper plates. As with many restaurants, they're short-staffed and there's no one to wash dishes. I had the XLB dumplings, Garlic Chicken Chow Fun Noodles, and Beef with Garlic Sauce. Over all the food was fine; nothing really stood out to me as amazing, but the Dumplings were my least favorite. The skins were pretty thick and the pork did not have the best flavor. I would skip them next time but I would order the Noodles and Beef Garlic again. The prices are reasonable. The Service was friendly and I appreciate all the hassle restaurants are going though to open back up. I hope China Lites gets the staff they need but until then I'll just stick to the takeout. read more

Friendly service, fair prices, great food. We ordered takeout from here the other night. The restaurant is in an unassuming little strip mall next to a few other restaurants and a liquor store. The parking lot is small but we didn't have any issues finding a spot. The inside of the restaurant is clean and decorated in the classic Chinese American style complete with a fish tank and paper Chinese Zodiac placemats. It's cozy and rich with nostalgia. We ordered the Beef Chow Fun, Chicken Fried Rice, Xiao Long Bao, and Sautéed String Beans. The portions were generous and still piping hot by the time we got home with them. We spent around $45 and got enough food for 2-3 meals. Everything tasted fresh and delicious--the Chicken Friend Rice and String Beans were our favorite. We will definitely be coming back! read more

I've been here twice and the salt and pepper fish was extremely floured up yet the fish still tasted too fishy. YIKES. Then I had the chicken with broccoli and there was a really spongy, chewy but unbreakable white opaque indescribable object that in my years of existence I still can't figure out what it is (pictured). OMG I highly recommend this place. It is such a good price!!!! You get a lot of food for the cheap price that it is. It's quality Chinese and is fresh and oh so yummy. It's also pretty rare to consistently have good quality without error when it comes to food these days.... I've ordered from them like four times and I've never had a bad meal. I also only get the beef with broccoli and the cream cheese wontons so I can't really let everyone know that every dish is good, but at least the beef and broccoli and the cream cheese wontons have been amazing. Dogshit. Came here and got 12 pieces of Xiao Long Bao, soup dumplings. Paid like $14 for something that felt like it came out of a package and got microwaved. Rubbery dough that sticks to your mouth, tasteless meat. The lady serving was nice but most people are. I just don't see how this place is in business if something as simple as dumplings goes over their head. Ambiance and decor was typical fare for a chinese takeout place. My wife opened her Fried Rice to find one very dead bug right on top of the rice in plain view of anyone who would have closed the container. It was in such a position that it would have been impossible to miss. Sorry folks, I know that things happen....but this little fella made it into her fried rice, into the container and then was plainly visible to anyone who would open the container. Having a bug infestation is bad enough, but sending it out to your loyal customer means one of two things: Either your quality control is very poor or you simply didn't care. Either way I will not be purchasing again going forward. Sorry. I really hate to write bad reviews but a bug in the food that made it all the way via delivery? Unacceptable in my opinion. read more
