    This meal is $12.

Find a better and more affordable all-day special. I'm here at least once a week, but lately 2-3 times. Food is tasty and doesn't weigh you down. Family-run, Lowe key atmosphere. Hands-down the best friend rice you're going to eat. Just don't take my seat next to Selena.

Plenty of clean plates in the kitchen.

Currently it's not possible to get the full experience at China Lite. The main dining room is closed off and it's filled with to-go boxes and containers, leaving the front dining room a bit of a mess. Unfortunately when dining in, everything is also served on paper plates. As with many restaurants, they're short-staffed and there's no one to wash dishes. I had the XLB dumplings, Garlic Chicken Chow Fun Noodles, and Beef with Garlic Sauce. Over all the food was fine; nothing really stood out to me as amazing, but the Dumplings were my least favorite. The skins were pretty thick and the pork did not have the best flavor. I would skip them next time but I would order the Noodles and Beef Garlic again. The prices are reasonable. The Service was friendly and I appreciate all the hassle restaurants are going though to open back up. I hope China Lites gets the staff they need but until then I'll just stick to the takeout.

I just moved to the area and found Chine Lites and will pick up food to go regularly. The food is wonderful and the prices are reasonable. Quick service and a friendly staff. Always fun to chip in to feed their large fish in the aquarium! If you are in the area I recommend them. A+

Ordered through UberEATS as it was the only Chinese food open late on a Thursday and it was just alright! The chow mein and broccoli beef were pretty yummy and not that much different from any other Chinese food stand you order from. The fried rice was whatever but definitely not your typical fried rice. It just seemed to lack flavor. I'd definitely order from them again as it was pretty filling and delicious, but nothing in particular stood out.

What is this? It was chewy and gooey and it grossed me out.

I REALLY want to like this place. A star for the decent service and a star for the price. Lunch specials are certainly cheap but this is a prime example of getting what you paid for. I've been here twice and the salt and pepper fish was extremely floured up yet the fish still tasted too fishy. YIKES. Then I had the chicken with broccoli and there was a really spongy, chewy but unbreakable white opaque indescribable object that in my years of existence I still can't figure out what it is (pictured). I was extremely disgusted but because of the service I didn't want to complain. Also the hot and sour soup was one of the worst I've ever tasted. I'm so sorry!

Walked in today at 3:45 pm and was greeted by the host name Melody and she took us to our table. A minute later, Luis, our server came to take our order. We ordered 4 items that could have fed an entire Army. It really was a lot of food. Generous portions and still had left overs to take home. We got small orange chicken, which was more like a large size, ($14.49), Chicken Steamed Dumplings ($7.99), Vegetable egg rolls (4) pieces(8.99), and their House Special Fried Rice that came with: chicken, beef, shrimp, eggs, peas, carrots & green onions.(16.99). Luis & Bryan were very nice, pleasant, kind and very attentive. They checked on us like 4 times. Our food came out fast, tasted fresh, hot and delicious. Let me not forget to tell you that the minute you sit down, they bring Complimentary hot Green tea in a teapot. The restaurant along with the restroom were very clean. 10/10. Underground valet parking shared with other businesses; and you can also park on the street and metered parking. Then came Covid, and everything made dramatic changes, including Bamboo closing for lunchtime. It has continued to only offer dinner hours, making it difficult to revisit the restaurant. We had a yearning for Chinese food and immediately thought about ordering it from one of our old favorite places for dinner. Coming by to pick up the food, I was immediately transported back in time to one of our many lunches, with familiar dining areas and the delectable smells of what I expected to be a great meal. The couple that run the restaurant were super friendly and engaged in conversation with me about the changes in their restaurant and the neighborhood, as a result of the Covid experience. One thing that I was pleasantly impressed with was the same quality and variety of dishes that used to make for an almost weekly lunch experience many years ago. The chicken lettuce wraps were an all time favorite of my wife, and we were sure to order them. Obviously ordering online is never going to be the same as dining in. The closest location was in Studio City which is about 4+ miles from West Hollywood. I ordered the Fried Rice and paid extra ($5) to add Chicken. I also ordered the Chicken Potstickers (Dumplings) which are my favorite. I reheated my food upon delivery as I knew it wouldn't be warm enough for me upon arrival. The Chicken Fried Rice was a large portion and tasted fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, paying extra for Chicken wasn't worth the price. It was just a few small strips of Chicken in a large serving of rice. See pictures. The Chicken Potstickers were awesome as usual. Five large dumplings packed full of delicious Chicken. The coating was so fresh, and tasted better after reheating. I didn't have their Chinese Chicken Salad this time, but every time I have ordered it in the past, it's always been so freaking good with plenty of fresh Chicken. In past experiences, dining in has always been very friendly and attentive service. Really miss you guys in West Hollywood.
