The Long Dubai FKA "Dream Bakery" that underwent an ownership and name change back in 2007. They have been a cornerstone bakery in the Cambrian neighborhood since, and specialize in Persian baked goods, as well as the usual cavalcade of other baked goods. I'm not one to get caught up in internet hype, but the Dubai chocolate thing had me curious. Probably because I'm a fat ass, but also the flavor of chocolate, pistachio butter, and crunchy knafeh had me intrigued. Luckily a fellow Yelper put me onto CSB's offerings, and I had to try it out. Beyond the usual chocolate bar, CSB offers up Dubai cocoa chip cookies and a Dubai Chocolate cake. I snagged a bar and a few cookies to take home and they were both delicious. The bar has good flavor, but I wouldn't have minded more of a crunch. The cookie, however, was perfection. Crunchy, great flavor, and a surprise pistachio filling on the inside. Highly recommended. The staff is friendly and there's a large parking lot so that should never be an issue. Be warned it ain't cheap, but I'm coming back for that cake. :8) read more

The theme wasn't as mainstream as some others I've seen, but I trust them to ensure the accuracy of all the characters and they certainly delivered!! They were even able to have just the characters in fondant and the cake in buttercream(we don't usually like to have too much fondant on the cake itself). We had a Numberblocks themed birthday because my daughter absolutely loves this show. It was harder to find decor and goodies for this theme, but I knew I didn't have to worry about the cake. The pies are amazing, and I'm not even really a pie person! So I haven't physically been to this bakery but my niece brought us the peach and the whisky pecan pie for thanksgiving. I'm very picky about pie especially pecan because most places skimp on the pecans and add way too much sugar. Not here! It's full of pecans and with an added delightful twist, they have little chunks of chocolate in there which along with the whisky, make this the absolute BEST pecan pie I've ever had. The crust of both pies are also fabulous, nice and buttery yet thick and crisp. Pair the pecan pie with a nice strong cappuccino and you'll be in heaven! The peaches are fresh tasting with a bit of firmness and crunch and I love that the peach pie is not too sweet at all. I wish we had this bakery close by to where I live, or do I? I feel like I'd be quite chubby eating all these goodies. We're still slowly working on the pies to make them last :) Delish! read more

I have been wanting to try a Dubai chocolate bar for the past 6 months so we went to C'est Si Bon Bakery to finally try it! We went on a Saturday around 11am and it was not busy. The ambiance of the store is nice and there were a lot of beautifully decorated desserts on display. Dubai Chocolate Bar (3/5): At $10 dollars, it felt pricey, but I wanted to see what all the hype was about. The chocolate bar is not that big and there are 5 break off pieces so essentially each piece is $2 which felt steep. There is a good amount of filling and I could taste the crunchy pistachio. It tasted good but I didn't find it unique. I'm glad I got to try the Dubai Chocolate Bar but I didn't think it was worth $10. Ordered a storefront cake from doordash as the website suggested. I imagined a storefront cake would be impossible to mistake as it isn't custom in anyway, AND costs extra compared to other cakes. Somehow the mistook their burnt almond cake for the Dubai chocolate which is what we ordered. The cake was delicious and moist. The strawberry milkshake - 0/5. The frosting was too sweet and the cake was very stale. I threw this one away. This review is for the $10 Dubai Chocolate Bar. I heard so much of the viral chocolate bar from Dubai or "Can't Get Knafeh of It" chocolate bar. It's a combo of super crispy Kataifi Pastry (shredded pyllo dough). mixed with pistachio butter spread and tahini. The top of the bar can have designs of colored chocolate ribbons or even edible gold flakes. When doing a Yelp search, I discovered CSB offered Dubai chocolate bars. By reading a few reviews here, I thought it'd give it a try. At the time, their were 2 reviews: a 5 star and a 1 star. So after watching YouTube and TikTok, I became more familiar with this viral delight. The chocolate bar was much smaller than I thought. I think it was milk chocolate based with white chocolate threads on the top as the design element. It had 5 snap off pieces. The filling had a thin layer of bright green pistachios poking out (as oppose to the thick versions in the Google world). I tasted a light delicious pistachio flavor, but no sesame seed taste (tahini). I can't say it was super crunchy from the phyllo dough (kataifi) as the chocolate gave a snappy crunch, but I'll say visually one can see the shreds. This crunch is the highlight of this viral sensation and just craved a more substantial crunch factor. However, if it was twice as big with more filling (which would provide that crunch it's known for), I'd pay the $10. We ordered two cakes from C'est Si Bon Bakery, our small wedding ceremony cake (Dubai Chocolate) and a three level wedding reception cake (Dubai, Banana cream and Ube) (we had two cakes because we were married in a different location than the reception) - cake tasted amazing and the cake design was exactly what my wife wanted. We had many compliments on the cakes from guests. We had gone on a cake tasting test throughout the South Bay (my Mom found this place) - the flavors were by far the best we tasted (of the places we went to) and they were also flexible and willing to work with what we wanted as far as cake flavors and the design of the cake (other places were not at all). C'est Si Bon also delivered to Nestldown and set up the cake for a small fee. Persian cookies taste very good but the service is very poor. The owner does not seem to care about her clients and has very poor attitude.

Our coworker brought pastries into the office. I assume that they were purchased in the morning and brought to us around 10 AM. I ate the chocolate croissant and regular croissant the next day. I was pleasantly surprised with how soft and flaky both pastries were. The perfect amount of chocolate in the croissant.
