Jesse birthday cake from Toy Story.
    Anthony T.

I've been coming to C'est Si Bon Bakery for about 3+ years now, and they've been our go-to spot for all of our daughters' birthday cakes. We've had them make Elmo, Cookie Monster, Woody from Toy Story, and Jessie and many more. Every single one turned out awesome. The cakes always look amazing and taste just as good. Honestly, this is hands-down the best place I've been to for custom cakes. Their attention to detail on the designs is next level, and they never disappoint. Ordering is super easy you can bring in a design idea or they'll help you figure one out, pick a date, pay, and that's it. When pickup day comes, the cake is ready to go and looks perfect every time. We've ordered at least six custom cakes from here and have never had a single issue. The staff is friendly and you can tell they take pride in their work. I usually grab a cookie or cupcake when I'm picking up the cakes, and those are always great too. If you need a cake that's going to wow people and taste great, this is the place. Can't recommend C'est Si Bon Bakery enough.

5 stars as always! They took my last minute order and gave me exactly what we wanted. A beautiful job! Thank you, can't wait for my daughter to see it!

The Long Dubai FKA "Dream Bakery" that underwent an ownership and name change back in 2007. They have been a cornerstone bakery in the Cambrian neighborhood since, and specialize in Persian baked goods, as well as the usual cavalcade of other baked goods. I'm not one to get caught up in internet hype, but the Dubai chocolate thing had me curious. Probably because I'm a fat ass, but also the flavor of chocolate, pistachio butter, and crunchy knafeh had me intrigued. Luckily a fellow Yelper put me onto CSB's offerings, and I had to try it out. Beyond the usual chocolate bar, CSB offers up Dubai cocoa chip cookies and a Dubai Chocolate cake. I snagged a bar and a few cookies to take home and they were both delicious. The bar has good flavor, but I wouldn't have minded more of a crunch. The cookie, however, was perfection. Crunchy, great flavor, and a surprise pistachio filling on the inside. Highly recommended. The staff is friendly and there's a large parking lot so that should never be an issue. Be warned it ain't cheap, but I'm coming back for that cake. :8)

The cake was beautiful and delicious! They did a great job putting my idea together. I would order again, I fact I'm ordering my birthday cake for next month!

This is the 4th or 5th cake I have ordered from C'est Si Bon for my daughters birthday and every year they exceed my expectations. This year was no exception. The process for ordering is so easy and the communication so fast and thorough. They answer all questions and are honest with their recommendations on what they can accomplish in creating your vision of the cake. The pricing is always spot on with what I am anticipating. Pick up is a breeze. Thank you

Peach pie (what's left of it) delicious.
    Sher T.

The pies are amazing, and I'm not even really a pie person! So I haven't physically been to this bakery but my niece brought us the peach and the whisky pecan pie for thanksgiving. I'm very picky about pie especially pecan because most places skimp on the pecans and add way too much sugar. Not here! It's full of pecans and with an added delightful twist, they have little chunks of chocolate in there which along with the whisky, make this the absolute BEST pecan pie I've ever had. The crust of both pies are also fabulous, nice and buttery yet thick and crisp. Pair the pecan pie with a nice strong cappuccino and you'll be in heaven! The peaches are fresh tasting with a bit of firmness and crunch and I love that the peach pie is not too sweet at all. I wish we had this bakery close by to where I live, or do I? I feel like I'd be quite chubby eating all these goodies. We're still slowly working on the pies to make them last :) Delish!

Full Dozen Cupcakes - yum! The cutest decorations too!

Our favorite local bakery. Always asked where the desserts are from when we use them at a party. A dozen cupcakes for just under $50. ;)

I have been getting my cakes from C'est Si Bon Bakery for a few years and they have never failed. I ordered a cake for my nephews graduation and they did a fantastic job, from the detail to the flavor. The cake was red velvet with vanilla custard, was a complete hit at the celebration. Nothing but positive feedback from family and friends. Super moist and delicious.

I guess I'm in my custom cake era. I love how C'est Si Bon makes it so easy to come up with the perfect idea using their online ordering and responsive emailing systems. We've gotten beautiful results every time we've ordered from here, from small or large birthday cakes to custom cupcakes. Found them on Yelp a few years back and am happy to add to their collection of well-deserved and glowing reviews. I highly recommend the marble cake as a base, which is a delicious balance of sweetnesss and richness without being too overwhelming. Have tried marble a couple of times with different filling and frosting flavor combinations- my favorite was the raspberry filling with chocolate buttercream frosting. Their website walks you through the options in a clear and helpful way. I know I keep mentioning their online presence, but the fact that it's so streamlined and accessible really makes a huge difference. I've loved visiting their website and learning how the owners have been baking Persian sweets across the world for years. Give this bakery a try, you won't be disappointed!

I have been wanting to try a Dubai chocolate bar for the past 6 months so we went to C'est Si Bon Bakery to finally try it! We went on a Saturday around 11am and it was not busy. The ambiance of the store is nice and there were a lot of beautifully decorated desserts on display. Dubai Chocolate Bar (3/5): At $10 dollars, it felt pricey, but I wanted to see what all the hype was about. The chocolate bar is not that big and there are 5 break off pieces so essentially each piece is $2 which felt steep. There is a good amount of filling and I could taste the crunchy pistachio. It tasted good but I didn't find it unique. I'm glad I got to try the Dubai Chocolate Bar but I didn't think it was worth $10. It was smaller than I expected and it tasted like a regular chocolate bar with a slight pistachio flavor. I would consider coming back to try the cakes as they looked appealing

Always excellent!! Another fantastic and delicious cake by this lovely shop. I've gotten every birthday cake for my son here and coming full circle to get his high school graduation cake. Also my 40th and 50th cake came from CSB. Will always recommended C'est Si Bon and their excellent and friendly team.

I love this pastry shop because their pastries are absolutely delicious. However, I'm frustrated with their hours--they don't have a consistent schedule. Even when they're inside the shop, they often refuse to assist customers.

I will say that walking in the space is elegant is the word I would like to use but also inviting with the little extras that they do at the table with the fresh flowers the soft chairs the colorful decor that surrounds it. Also the two individuals behind the counter that were taking orders and packaging things were just a delight. Both of them greeted us with a smile and they asked us if it was our first time to the shop and we told them yes and so they walked us through some of the more popular items and how are things were broken down and that was very much appreciated cuz there are many many options in front of you in unless you know exactly what you want you can be looking at everything for a couple of minutes before you decide on even one thing. We ended up getting a regular latte and a rose latte for our drinks. And then as a little delicious taste of something we got the chocolate croissant and the almond croissant. I am going to comment on my rose latte first that thing was beautifully made because though it was sweet but in a way that wasn't overpowering because you could still taste a little bit of the caffeine the creaminess of the milk that was used and the espresso it was like a hint in the background so a little call out there if you're someone that really wants to taste their coffee this wasn't the jam for you and that's okay my husband got the regular latte with steamed milk and I tasted his and that was like coffee in your face so you can always go for a solid twist like that. And to clarify his latte was also very good because it just tasted so fresh and of high quality. Now for the pastries. They were stupendous because they had the right amount of flakiness but softness. They also were buttery but not overly so were like major hands feel greasy it was so savory both of them which is interesting because the fillings one was chocolate one was almond I would have thought that both of them would have had an overpowering sweetness to them. We will say that we both liked the almond croissant more not that the chocolate one wasn't just as good. The almond had a little bit of a 1up because I don't know how to explain it it's almost like it had a almond crumble at the top so you bit into the pastry which was fluffy but you had the crunch on the top then you had a little bit of the almond filling and then you had the butter and like the soft but almost chewiness of the inside of the layers just stupendous all of that together was great. If we end up ever being in that area again will definitely want to go back to try the rest of the stuff they had because I want to know how everything else takes especially those beautiful cakes that were just art themselves

Also ordered an Americano and a Banana cream latte with almond milk. Thankfully there were plenty of seating as the first half morning rush already left, but by 12pm seating became sparse. The matcha croissant outside is white chocolate with matcha powder i believe, very sweet, not a huge fan of white chocolate. Inside there is chocolate which is nice, it's a nice crossiant tho and the signs say they use french butter and chocolate. The crossiant cube was delicious as always. The coffee was okay,,, the banana cream latte is better after all the cream as mixed into the espresso. I enjoyed my smoked salmon avocado toast, they give u plenty of smoked salmon and salad, the huge tomatoes on the burrato avocado toast is very tasty, they sprinkles olive oil and pepper on top i believe. He explained that they are a small batch bakery. All the pastries, behind the glass, looked amazing and were decorated so beautifully. I decided to get one Lemon-Raspberry Meringue Tart and one Mix Berry Vanilla Creme Tart. Mr. Manaois boxed up my selections and helped me at the register. They also gave many varieties of hot beverages, sweet and savory scones and sweet and savory croissants. There are also a lot of different pastries. This would be a great place to have a small relaxing breakfast. There are several places inside to enjoy your goodies. Both desserts, that I purchased, were so delicious. My favorite was the lemon raspberry meringue tart. The tartness of the lemon-raspberry filling worked so perfectly with the delicious sweet meringue. I will definitely come here again to try other items.

The presentation was absolutely beautiful, making it the perfect centerpiece for the celebration. The cake itself was outstanding - light, delicate, and made with fresh, juicy mangoes. I especially loved the slight hint of tartness from the mangoes, which perfectly balanced the subtle sweetness of the cream. It was refreshing to enjoy a cake that wasn't overwhelmingly sugary and let the quality of the ingredients shine. This was my husband's very first crepe cake, and he absolutely loved it. In fact, our entire family enjoyed every bite. If you're looking for a dessert that's elegant, fresh, and not overly sweet, I highly recommend this one. We'll definitely be back to try more flavors, I'm especially excited to try the Black Sesame Crepe Cake next!

Each item was about $4-5 each. Service was fast and friendly Pastel de nata (4.5/5): I really enjoyed it, the crust was perfectly flaky and the egg filling was creamy! My only complaint is that there was a bit too much egg filling, compared to the crust, so the ratio was a bit off. I would come back for these! Malasadas (3/5): good sweetness but I thought the texture of it was overly thick and dense. I'm no expert but I prefer them soft and fluffy. I preferred the no filling to the sweet egg cream filling

Since they are in downtown SJ, parking is indeed very difficult. We had to park on the street a few blocks away but my daughter said she was able to park behind the building for free but she's not so sure if it's really free because she was quick and was just picking up so the attendant let her go without paying. The cafe has a casual vibe decorated with Japanese toys and pop culture characters. Tables and chairs are limited but most of the diners are getting food for take away. Customers usually come in, grab what they need, pay, and head out, which keeps things moving smoothly. One of the best things about this bakery is the incredible variety of pastries and breads. Whether you're craving something sweet or savory, there's plenty to choose from: melon pan, loaf bread, dinner rolls, chow mein bread, spaghetti bread, sweet potato bread, crab and roe bread, tomato bread, apple pie, and so much more. Don't skip the refrigerated section either! They carry fruit sandwiches, tuna sandwiches, fried bread, donuts, somen noodles in a cup, and other delicious grab-and-go items. They also offer rice balls and drinks that can be ordered at the register. If you're in the area, definitely stop by and give them a try. Small businesses like this deserve our support!

Clover Bakery & Cafe is a small Japanese-style bakery and café that feels like the kind of…read moreneighborhood spot you randomly discover and keep coming back to. We walked into a cozy, compact space with shelves filled with freshly baked breads, pastries, and prepared foods, all arranged in a way that makes you want to browse slowly even though the shop is small. The atmosphere has that simple, welcoming feel reminiscent of the small bakeries you find throughout Japan, focusing more on quality and variety than on a large café setup. Seating is limited, so it is better suited for grabbing something to go rather than spending a long time inside. The biggest draw here is the combination of Japanese baked goods and savory items. The bakery selection offers a great mix of sweet and savory options, with classics like melon pan standing out for its crisp sugary topping and soft interior that stays light without being dry. The curry bread and croquette bread are also popular choices, both feeling comforting and freshly made rather than overly sweet or greasy. The bakery items are reasonably priced, which makes it easy to pick up multiple things without feeling like you are spending too much, and the variety means there is always something new to try. The onigiri selection is what really makes Clover stand out compared to a typical bakery. They offer a variety of rice balls with fillings like spicy tuna, tuna mayo, and unagi, making it a great option for a quick breakfast or light meal. The rice is well balanced and the fillings give each onigiri a different personality. The spicy tuna has a nice kick that comes through without overpowering the rice, while the unagi adds a sweeter, more savory flavor that works especially well with the slightly salty rice. The onigiri are a practical, satisfying choice for anyone looking for something more substantial than a pastry. Beyond the baked goods and onigiri, Clover also has drinks, sandwiches, and desserts including cakes and other pastries. The strawberry cake is a nice lighter dessert option, and the overall menu gives plenty of reasons to visit whether you are looking for breakfast, a snack, or something to bring home. The offerings feel thoughtfully selected, with enough variety to cover different cravings without making the menu feel scattered. Service is friendly and efficient, and the small size of the shop adds to the charm. Since it has become a popular local spot, some items can sell out during busy hours, so arriving earlier gives you the best selection. Parking can also be a little challenging during peak times, but the quick grab-and-go style makes the visit easy to manage. Clover Bakery & Cafe is a great stop for anyone who enjoys Japanese bakeries. The combination of fresh breads, affordable prices, and unique savory options like onigiri makes it feel different from a standard bakery. It is the type of place where it is worth picking up a few items and trying a mix of everything, leaving you with the sense that you have found a little neighborhood gem that delivers on both quality and variety.

Finding parking isn't difficult…read morebut might take a minute on busy days, as it shares a parking lot with the rest of a popular plaza. The store itself is easy to find as well, with a clear label outside. Walking in, it looks half-closed--their cakes are all stored in a large refrigerator, with nothing in the case on the counter. There is a sign proclaiming "takeout only" in slight disarray, and the seating is pushed to the side. That said, the service is friendly and the employees are quick to help you and show you what they have in stock for takeout. I ordered the 4" Berry Berry Light Cake for a birthday, and they were able to write a birthday message on the cake board, which I really appreciated. The cake also tasted very light and the sweetness was subtle, which I really enjoyed. The berry flavor in the sponge was a little too subtle, though. My main concern is that the cake does not fully resemble the picture they advertised online. It is missing the freeze-dried berries on top, and the berry glaze did not reach as far down the cake as was shown in the photo. Because the berry glaze is the main source of the berry flavor, this was a little disappointing. Also, the cake was not finished when I came to pick up the cake (and I was ~5 minutes late). I'm uncertain if this is for freshness or if there is another reason. Overall, I like the spot for the fresh and light cake. It's pleasantly unique compared to your standard sheet cake, and everything is rather cute. However, it may be a better idea to buy the cakes in-person to be 100% sure of what it will look like, though daily stock is definitely more limited than if you place an order online. I hope they reopen their indoor seating soon.
