If you are looking for a well designed cake then please proceed with your order. This bakery has been our family bakery for 10 years now, ever since my daughter's first birthday. After her first birthday 10 years ago, I've used only this bakery for our birthdays, sleepovers, anniversaries, holidays, basically anytime you can eat cake - I'd go here! Our family has spent over $2,000.00 at this bakery in the past twelve months celebrating our various events - $200 of which was this past week alone! The decorators do a great job with executing my ideas. Sometimes I don't know what I want and will give the bakery "keywords" and they will come out with some great designs. Our birthday parties are always a hit and everyone tells me they can't wait to see what cake we've come up with next! Frequently after inviting someone to a party I'll hear, "Oh will you have some of that cake there?" "Okay, I'm in then". Last year, they introduced the dessert bar and I will cater their dessert bar for all my daughter's sleepovers or movie nights with friends. The kids love sneaking treats after the adults go to sleep and honestly I order extra mousse cups just for me, too, haha! They are so good especially when they are still frozen. I order the dipped rice krispies for myself! I'm addicted to those so much. They used to release cookie decorating kits and those were so much fun for events and sleepovers. I wish they'd bring those back. I think they may have been an item to help boost sales during Covid shut downs but they were a great activity. Last year, they introduced their kid's decorating classes and we try to enroll our daughter in most of those, too. She did break her arm last year so she did have to miss a few but for the most part we sign her up for each class. Imagine my surprise when during this most recent class, my husband is pulled aside at pick up to discuss our daughter's participation in the decorating class. We were informed that there has been an ongoing issue with our child wanting to decorate her items using her own creative vision; however, the instructor told my husband this is her class and the cupcakes and treats will decorated her way. Just wow. My mind was blown when I heard that. Cest Si Bon of all places should know cake decorating is an art form and a wonderful way to show creativity. I spoke with my child and she said she was interested in tweaking some things for her treats such as using different colors and it didn't seem like it was that bad. My child did tell me towards the end of class she was afraid to ask to shape her rice krispie treat into another shape. Instead of having such a strict outlook on the class agenda, perhaps there should be a freeform class where students are encouraged to show their artistic side. That seems like it would bring in revenue. Perhaps even a cake decorating class for adults which I personally would have joined. Either way, after that discussion, I am no longer comfortable enrolling my child in these classes nor am I comfortable leaving my child with an adult who is an artist by day but doesn't support artistic children. Who knows what has been going on while I was waiting for class to be over. I think Cest Si Bon and our family will take a short break from each other after I pick up the pie I just ordered before this happened. For Halloween we pick up cute cookies, during Thanksgiving we get a few pie flights they are always so perfect and delicious my favorite is apple and everyone always wants the chocolate pie! For Christmas we come back for cookies for Santa and for our holiday charcuterie boards! The cakes coming out of the bakery are beautiful and unique and they always offer unique desserts in the display case. They have a seating area inside but I dont think they have coffee or tea to serve so you would need to bring your own I suppose. The people working were very kind and helpful so good service for sure! I think some things that would make it five stars is serving coffee or tea or serving some type of drink inside if you have indoor seating. This is my salons go-to place for cookies and cupcakes for all of our celebrations! We love getting a variety dozen and are always pleasantly surprised at what flavors they have when we receive our order. Recently I stopped in for the first time (we usually get them delivered to the salon) and I picked up some pistachio cookies and Dubai chocolate bars and OH MY GOSH they were such a hit and so delicious. I stopped by C'est Si Bon Bakery to satisfy my sweet tooth. This was my first time at the bakery, and I was expecting to see a couple of whole display cases full of cookies, desserts, etc. as I've seen on Google/Yelp images. I'm assuming that their inventory of to-go items has gone down due to Covid. Understandably so. The menu was limited, but I was able to find things that interested me nonetheless. I picked up a chocolate mousse cake and oreo cake cup. Additionally I got an iced mocha and napoleon for my sister. The chocolate mouse cake was great. I liked how the chocolate sprinkles on the outer edge of the cake gave it a nice crunch. It wasn't super rich because of the mousse and wasn't overly sweet either. The oreo cake cup was fine. The custard was like a thick whipped cream with oreo bits blended in. It came with a chocolate cake in between layers of the cream. Lastly, customer service was fantastic. The employee helping me today was very friendly and helpful. I also observed the interaction between another employee and the guests in front of me who were trying to order a custom cake. Set up the order with some simple back and forth via email, paid via PayPal, went to pick up the cake the morning of the party. They nailed it -- ours looked even better than the cake I saw on Yelp. I went in on a Saturday afternoon and found that they had many cupcakes, cookies, birthday cakes, and desserts available, just 2 hours before closing. Super cute decorations like glittery unicorn cupcakes, as well as burnt almond, red velvet, Oreo flavored cake, etc. I like their cupcakes a little better, but can't say I was fond of their cake at all. The frosting was not fresh tasting and even cracked a tiny bit as I cut into it. It was overly sweet. The Oreo flavor was very weak. It was the tiniest strip of flavoring on the inside. The cake itself was light and fluffy, but if no one told me it was Oreo on the inside, I'd never guess. Overall it was just too sweet and reminiscent of a cake you'd buy from a regular grocery store. I got some non cake items - eclairs, an Oreo parfait cup, mini burnt almond cupcake and those were better but still a tad sweet. I think I'll stick to birthday cakes and cupcakes from elsewhere - Whole Foods, any Asian bakery, even some grocery stores have better cakes with more fillings, are more fresh, and higher quality frosting. read more
