Not a five star because the place is small and its not easy to get a seat when they are busy. Service is good and prices are fair. Overall I would recommend it but try to make a reservation. This place was delicious! I have a boss who constantly states this is the best Peruvian restaurant in the area so I decided to try it. I really enjoyed the food and would definitely come back. I forgot to take photos of my actual dish but was able to get some photos of the corn they bring, the beer, & the interior. The inside decor reminds me of an Asian places decor. It is very dim inside (until a lady came in and requested the lights to be turned on). There was a Peruvian lady who would walk around who was so kind and attentive to all guests. I assume she was the owner but I could be mistaken. Our food was very good. We ordered 2 churrasco a lo pobre and yuca a la huancaina. The huancaina sauce was very delicious and creamy. We ordered our meat well done but still was slightly pink, it was still good. I ordered a dessert (flan) to go and ate it a day or two later. I didn't like it very much. Came back for a sit-down. Adding a half star in my head. Food is pretty yummy -but not up to (my) 4 star rating (but clearly it makes the grade for many others). The Octopus app I ordered was not good, but the rest of our food was - I think the ceviche and their rolls are the best choices. This place had a long line outside one Saturday night so be warned. We went all out; we started with some wine and then I ordered my 'Leche de Tigre' and my wife tried the 'Shrimp Cocktail'; both were delicious. I wanted to try something infused so we ordered the 'Lomo Spring Rolls', sorry no picture of those because they flew!! Lol. My wife ordered the 'fettuccini a la huancaina w shrimp', and I ate the 'chaufa de mariscos' again both were freshlicious with very subtle spice action, lol. Came here for Mothers day for the first time and the set up is very polished casual. I was very pleased with the noise level and ambiance. Although located in a corner of a plaza, don't be discouraged. From the moment we came in, we felt welcomed and although we had many questions about the menu, everything seemed so interesting, both servers were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We got a variety of different meals from the pesto pasta, churrasco, the Brooklyn roll, miami heat roll, fried calamari, and taku taku just to name a few items. Everything that we ordered was well prepared and tasted savory and fresh. The timing of the food was perfect, as each course was brought as we finished the previous one. This place is excellent. I've been here twice now and have not been disappointed. My boyfriend is Peruvian, so I have tried many many Peruvians restaurants and I can confirm that the food in here is delicious and authentic. The first time we came we had the ceviche roll (delicious!) Fetuccine a la Huancaina with shrimp, and the Lomo Saltado. All three were excellent. My favorite was the roll though. The second time we came we ordered Churrasco with chimichurri sauce, Fried Yuca with huancaina sauce, and Vuelve la Vida; it is basically a ceviche chopped into smaller pieces and mixed with shrimp and calamari served in a glass. Let me tell you, that thing was out of this world!!! If you like ceviche, you must try this! Everything we have tried so far is delicious! And as far as service, if I can give it a 6 star I would! Staffs are very friendly and attentive. Always making sure your water is filled and that you have everything you need. And very importantly, they greet you with a smile. If you combine all the reviews since the pandemic began, their star review would be 3.75 so the owners need to start paying attention. This has been my favorite Weston restaurant for years and my prior reviews have reflected it. Even during the pandemic I make it a point to support our local restaurants but today may be the last time I order from them. The quality has steadily declined and when you order a chimichurri steak and get it without the chinichurri for $18, that was the last straw. When I called I was told to go back, I was really looking for a delivery because my food was already getting cold and I was denied the delivery. Yeah, turns out that the switch that controls the light part is actually inside the bathroom and customers occasionally turn it off inadvertently thinking it's the bathroom light. Fun stuff. Anyway, the kitchen puts out very solid Peruvian food and when we visited it was very quick. Didn't try the sushi but the tiradito was nicely done, not too acidic and generous portion. The anticucho, the conchas, and the ronda criolla were all excellent examples of those classic dishes. Delicious. It's an attractive place. As others have noted, it's in a strip mall in a nondescript corner but definitely much more appealing inside. Clearly someone with some taste and passion put it together. TIP: ask to sit on the stage-like area near the back. It's a great view of the restaurant plus you feel like a VIP The service is frustratingly typical South Florida. I always order this soup when ever I am at a restaurant that has it. I wasn't able to finish it, tasted just horrible. The iced green tea was steeped tea, not the first place they do it this way... I usually visit a Peruvian restaurant close to my job when I need my ceviche fix. I was on the other side of town and Yelp helped me find this lovely establishment. I wanted my usual ceviche mixto which includes everything under the sea (fish, shrimp, calamari and octopus). I called the order in and asked for the spicy option. I also asked for additional spice on the side cuz ya girl likes it hot but I need to control that extra hotness myself. I was give. An estimate of 10 minutes. I walked in and was immediately greeted by an associate with a menu but I told her I was picking up and she directed me to the bar. My order was ready and I paid about $13. I arrive to my destination to eat the food and notice that the ceviche and all of it's delicious juice was placed in a regular 3-compartment styrofoam container. So when I unwrapped it, juice spelled all over the floor. The other restaurant I frequent for take out ceviche has these spill proof containers that prevent this type of mishap. Come on, get better containers for your liquids :-( Now, the food was superb which is why even though most of the juice ended up on the floor and called for major cleanup, they get 4 stars. The chunks of fish are bite-sized and they took the tails off the shrimp (love that). The spice was dead on and very pleasing to my palate. The one star isn't a reflection of the food. It is their service. I have ordered delivery from this place three times directly from their website only to be called back every time and told that they don't currently have delivery. The first time, no big deal, we did curbside pickup. The second time, ok - ANNOYING, but I'll pick it up AGAIN. Now today, once again, I get the call to say no delivery. When I called them out on the delivery fees they charge every time (now going on $15 that have not been reimbursed) they miraculously have delivery but it will take a bit. It has now been over an hour that we have been waiting for our food. UNACCEPTABLE. It can't be legal to charge people a delivery fee only to call them to say they have to pick it up... and then pocketing the $5. read more

We started off with a ceviche sampler to share, which was made to order when it comes to spice. We had the seafood stew with rice and the one with the risotto as a main. The service at this place is impressive, great place for a date night. We couldn't decide on a wine and they let us try four different reds! I at first thought that Japanese Peruvian would be an odd combination, I was then told that Peru has seen a lot of Japanese immigrants. The two culinary styles work well together, focusing on fresh fish and umami flavors. The ceviche arigato was really good, as was the churasco with chimichurri. The Miami Heat roll was good for Florida, but I am a sushi snob from Hawaii, so I've had better, I've also had much worse! We all agreed that the desserts were the best part of the meal. We had the quinoa creme brulee, flan, and the donuts (can't remember the Peruvian name). The creme brulee has a thick sugary top, a rich custard, and quinoa on the bottom. The flan was thick, with a smooth texture and a subtle pumpkin flavor. The donuts reminded me of cake donuts, they were soaked in a delicious caramel sauce full of spices. There's so much to say about this place! First of the staff is awesome, very kind and attentive. The place could be bigger and the decor is a bit off but once you try the food there is nothing to complain about. I always get the Ceviché mixto and the jalea mixta. Let me just say I could eat at this place everyday for the rest of my life and I'd die happy. Lol I tried the sushi once, I don't remember exactly which roll but I thought it was gross.
