If you love Peruvian food, this is definitely a place to visit! My good friend is from Peru so she knows the best places to visit and this was definitely one of them. This restaurant was beautifuly decorated and gave a real modern and cozy vibe. We came in during lunch time, and it wasnt busy so the service was very spot on! I tried the lomo saltado.this meal came with chicken, sautéed vegetables, white rice and French fries. It was my first time trying it and it was absolutely delicous! Big portion for the price as well! My friend had the churrasco steak with as I call it the 'green spaghetti" Lol I tried her meal and absolutely delicious! It was a wonderful time with friends and a great experience. I plan on returning here in the future!

Although I order from this restaurant a few times a month, today was my first time dining here. I sat at the bar and was not only welcomed, but treated like family. I was stunned to see the restaurant so busy for a stormy Monday night, but the ambiance was exceptional with a pleasant playlist of soft samba-style music. I started with a glass of Chardonnay and a bowl of chicken noodle soup, then enjoyed a fresh Miami Heat roll, followed by the creamiest, most delicious cheesecake I've had in my now long life. It was a passion fruit blend and a far cry from your average cheesecake. It was just the right ending to my relaxing day off. I think I will most likely continue to dine here, as the service was exceptional.

Loved it! We had the ceviche trio, some super tasty sushi rolls, a juicy churrasco with chimichurri, and finished with chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream. Everything hit the spot. Can't wait to go back!

Dined here with another couple. Really nice spot with good service and a vast menu. We tried many different things and loved the majority of them. I would definitely stay away from the deep fried stuff. I'm not sure how often they're changing their oil, but I didn't like the taste too much of our deep fried items. I'd still recommend a dinner date night here.

I came to Ceviche Arigato to meet a friend for lunch. It's located in Weston. At first glance the restaurant looks cozy with a low light, moody ambiance. It's in a strip mall, but it's elevated. The have an extensive menu with all the typical Peruvian dishes. I opted to get their grilled octopus as an appetizer and a glass of white wine. The dish was so big that it ended up being my lunch. The consistency was delicious. You don't get the whole tentacle, they slice it up for you. You get plenty of potatoes and corn. It was fantastic. Service was very good. Our water was very attentive. Also he was dressed very nicely as well. My only complain is that they don't have a liquor license so I could get a pisco sour lol. It's not a deal breaker of course, just my own personal hang up. I highly recommend this place!

This was not our intended destination but I'm happy we ended up here. We've never been to a Peruvian Japanese fusion restaurant and weren't sure what to expect. Our server was very nice and patient. Every time he came to take our order, we still didn't know what we wanted. Decisions were finally made and we were all extremely happy with our meals. My husband still talks about how much he loved his Arrizotado Con Mariscos! After we had finished eating, our daughter left the table to go to the restroom. While she was gone, the staff went to a table behind us to sing Happy Birthday to a customer. Well it was our daughter's birthday that day. We weren't planning on doing a public acknowledgment but when we heard that, we figured it was a perfect! A few minutes after daughter came back to the table, the staff came over to sing to her. It seems like it's the place to go if it's your birthday. There was another table that had a birthday celebration. We will definitely make it a point to come back!

What an amazing experience. I came here on a Saturday for dinner with my family at their Weston location. My 3 young nephews LOVED the food and gobbled it right down. They each got steak rice and fries. They were very generous with the kids and were able to provide them with kids cups as well. My sister ordered 4 sushi rolls and all were more delicious than the next. The arigato roll, the lomo roll, Miami heat and tiradito roll. All were so so yummy. We also got their classic ceviches which were delicious. The service was excellent and very attentive. They sang happy birthday with an extravagant celebration, flashing lights, a song on the whole restaurant and delicious Peruvian donuts called picarones, a must try! 10/10 recommend.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my wifes's birthday and a friends visit from New York, We were greeted immediately and shown to our table despite being 20 min late for our reservation. Staff were courteous and helpful. The atmosphere was tastefully apportioned, dim lighting but quite able to see and read the exhaustive menu, soft music and a huge sce slid3 show of Peru and japan showing the intertwining cultures. Our waitress Magdaly should be cloned! Not only was she knowledgeable about the ingredients and manner of preparation of the varied dishes on the menu (one member of our dining party desired vegan choices and alternatives), she had photos of the various exotic looking dishes. The grilled octopus with roasted potatoes and grilled corn (large enough to share as an appetizer for four people was amazing, truly delicious and had each of us searching for the Peruvian Panca spice they used on the grilled items on amazon. Imagine a Smokey mild chili pepper with hints of fruity,berry and earthy undertones. Extremely flavorful. One person wanted a more Japanese fusion item and had the huge salmon and crab roll (8 very large pieces with mounds of salmon and crab in a delightful sauce. Our vegan member was very pleased with Tallarin Salgado de Veggies (sort of a vegetable lo mein). The other dishes were outstanding in portion and flavor! Arroz con Mariscos (seafood flavored rice shrimp, scallops,calamari,baby clams and mussels with green peas. And the surpise winner was arrizotado de lomo Saltado, a yellow pepper and white bean risotto with Parmesan cheese and skirt steak. The birthday acknowledgement from the entire waitstaff with fireworks (sparklers) music and light show and flan desert large enough for all four of us with happy birthday on the plate spelled out in powdered chocolate was a Amazing! We will certainly be returning to work our way through the other menu items. A truly nice (reasonably priced) dining experience!! 5 stars

What a treat! My friends and I were on the fence between Peruvian or Japanese food the other night for dinner. And low and behold, Yelp finds me a Peruvian restaurant with a Japanese twist to it. It's a cute little place hidden in a Weston strip Plaza. The service was super. And the waitress even surprised my friend on her meal bc she couldn't make a decision between two different meals. My favorite was the ceviche - so fresh. And the grilled octopus appetizer. Highly recommend.

I am searching for a Peruvian restaurant that serves to-die-for food. Our favorite one in Davie/Hollywood shut down during the pandemic. So, I read Yelp reviews about this place before going. The restaurant is located in a strip mall near a Publix (with ample parking but the lot gets packed at dinner time). As noted in the reviews, the restaurant is a bit dim. But I didn't find it distracting or a bother. The place still has a nice atmosphere. The music was a tad loud, especially when the restaurant gets full (and it did at dinnertime on a Saturday). It is difficult to hear each other over the other conversations and the music. Now to the food. My husband and I shared the ceviche pescado as an appetizer. The lime was strong, the way we like it, and although not every piece of fish was soft (a few were a bit chewy), we thoroughly enjoyed the robust flavor. My husband had the lomo saltado, and we both agreed that the beef was not tender enough. I had the pollo saltado con tacu tacu. I forgot to let them know I could not eat onions that were not well-cooked, and when the plate arrived at the table I had to send it back. They were less than half-way cooked. But they gladly obliged and recooked the onions. The chicken was a tad dry (the waitress said that they always use chicken breast), but the tacu tacu was divine. (I have a little leftover that I will be having for lunch tomorrow.) We shared a flan (too firm and not much flavor, you need the syrup) and a creme brulee with quinoa for dessert. The latter was very good, but we thought the quinoa was not a great addition. It had no taste and just added a beady texture to the dessert when it hit your tongue. The best part about our dinner was the service. It was superb.

Was dying to eat ceviche but since we recently moved to this area didn't know exactly where to. Found this place since it's close to the local Publix and ordered take out since the pandemic is happening. We ordered fried rice and ceviche Arigato. The food is on point and the fried is probably one if the best if not the best fried rice I've ever had. The Ceviche Arigato is new to me, the way they add soy sauce to the ceviche. It's was weird to me at first but it was actually pretty good and will be having again. I recommend this place. read more

The location does not hint as to how nice the interior actually is. It is dimly lit with white linen covered tables, flickering tea lights, and minimalist art. Every table receives a small dish of complimentary cancha, or corn nuts. I devoured said cancha as I perused the menu. I didn't find much on the Japanese side of the menu that I really wanted. If you prefer very decadent, cream cheese filled and mayo drenched sushi rolls, then this is great for you. I'm more of a sushi purist. I did notice they had a sashimi appetizer, so I went for that and also ordered papa a la huancaina. The Sashimi Arigato plate was a lot larger than I expected and it came with a lot of fish. There are three slices of each fish: octopus, salmon, tuna and a white fish. Accompanying it were some huge chunks of cucumber and some decent sized slices of avocado. The one thing I did not expect is that it was all placed on top of a bed of.... lettuce. When the description said nigiri, I was expecting a rice base since nigiri is defined as a ball of rice topped with raw fish. I didn't bother figuring out that oddity, and figured that it just meant less calories that I'd be consuming. The fish was largely cut, extremely good and most importantly fresh tasting. The octopus was especially more tender than you can find in some normal sushi restaurants. For $16, this dish included a lot of quality fresh fish, so it's definitely a bang for your buck. The papa a la huancaina is a great comfort food; in that I mean it's very tasty, creamy and cheesy. The presentation of all of the dishes were very nice. The service was a little sparse, but they were all very nice and brought us anything we needed. All in all, this is a great little hybrid restaurant that caters to the preferences of multiple different types of tastebuds. read more

Great ambiance. Very clean, cool decorations, great service, and great food. I have eaten at other Peruvian/Japanese fusion restaurants and was super skeptical because I have never had a great experience. This place changed the way my way of thinking. Must try the 'ceviche arigato' appetizer plate. WOW! It's a party in your mouth! You can't go without trying this! read more

Nice, but very noisy - kids where in the restaurant with there IPads on full volume playing games (I have kids my self but teach them to think of other people around them) anyway staff did nothing to rectify the problem although I asked. My wife had the pasta with shrimps she said it was okay. I had pasta with steak, not really a good experience, the steak was like rubber and the pasta with pesto was tasteless. The Chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream is to die for! My wife had this and I admit to ditching my Cream Brûlée for hers.. the cream brûlée was average at most and for sure it was not freshly made. Peruvian food is excellent. Mixed grill, lomo saltado, seco de res, masas de puerca all excellent. Sushi rolls are a little weak - too much sweet and non-raw mixed in! But we don't go for the sushi so it's ok. read more

This place surprised me.. is small restaurant located at Pembroke Pines food excellent it takes little long the food to arrive at your table but the wait is worth it. came on a friday night and it was packeddd!!!!! gotta be some awsome AUTHENTIC food in here right?!? WRONG! i ordered the parihuela (peruvian seafood soup) my alltime favorite peruvian dish.. gosh was i disappointed when i received d a lazy poormans version (tasted like canned tomato soup with seafood in it..) the richness of the broth was just not there tasted cheap tbh..whyyy!!??? affff.... moving on... my wifes pulpo a la parilla was rubbery and overseasoned with old bay? not authentic peruvian or japanesse flavors.. it was my mother in laws birthday she had the llomo saltado,flavor was good but meat was overcooked and cheap. all in all big disappointment i guess weston people have nothing better to do with their money on a friday night than spend it on mediocre peruvian food.. rather take a 20 minute drive south and get my moneys worth ... oh yea and they added gratuity to a 3 top... read more

Even though the food is delicious there is little to say that's good about the waitstaff. Firstly, I am Hispanic myself but I feel as if I'm totally in a Latin American country when I go there with the language. When I call to make reservations, I choose to speak English even though I'm bilingual in Spanish. I have to repeat myself 3 or 4 times so they get my name and number correct and time. The worst is we went there with my in-laws for dinner who do not speak Spanish, and the waiter had a very difficult time understanding our orders...I had to help and speak in Spanish. Not only was he not fully bilingual, he was disengaged and did not care at all. When the food finally came out, he decided to talk by the bar to another waiter with OUR food in his hand for a few minutes before finally coming to our table. I was in total disbelief. Again it's great they speak Spanish and I know there's a huge Spanish population here in Weston but this is very inappropriate to have wait staff who can't understand what you're saying in English. Especially someone taking reservations on the phone. I find it rude to my in-laws to speak in Spanish when they don't understand what I'm saying. Very disappointing...also do not order the vegetables there! I ordered veggies instead of rice and beans and they literally just steamed it...not one dash of salt or pepper?!! PLEASE hire waitstaff that can fully speak English, it would be a shame to stop going there since most of the food is good. read more

The ambiance and design of the restaurant is charming and modern, however the space is quite cramped. I have been here multiple times and it's usually a hit or a miss. The food options are diverse and they offer lots of dishes accommodable to all. I usually get the seafood ceviche as it is one of the best dishes they have to offer. The staff mainly speaks Spanish and are friendly and polite. I think the downfall of this restaurant is the wait. I'm not too sure if their kitchen is big enough to accommodate all the orders they have or if it's because they don't have enough kitchen staff, either way, they need to work that out. I think my worst experience was ordering take out from here on Valentine's Day this year. Granted, I knew the wait would be long so I ordered my ceviche and fried yuca on the phone at around 6:30. They told me it'd be ready by 7:15 the latest. I got there at 7:30 and the staff was clearly overwhelmed and disorganized. I stood at the counter/bar area for over 20 minutes and was basically on top of two families (again, very cramped). There was a middle aged man there (who I'm 98% sure was the owner/manager) that was just talking to these two diners instead of pitching in to help... After finally receiving my order, the ceviche was thrown into one of those large Styrofoam take out boxes and did not look appetizing at all. Overall, some of the food options are worth your while, however the service could definitely be improved. read more

One of my favorite restaurants in Weston. Their ceviche is always fresh and the bartender is awesome. The ambiance is nice and romantic I just wish the bar was bigger. It's always busy on the weekends so prepare to wait.... but a wait means the food is good so it's worth it! This is the best restaurant in Fort Lauderdale! Great food at even better prices. The food is incredible and the staff is so friendly. This is by far my favorite restaurant. I come here at least once a week. Try the Lomo Saltado, Ceviche, Arizotados de Mariscos, and Churasco! So yummy! read more

I just ordered for lunch, one ceviche and two Lomo Saltado. Ceviche was okay, bot good, Only Okay. Lomo Saltado was very bad. No flavor at all, rice was very bad and the fríes were frozen from publix and small (thin) and with white onions, when a Lomo Saltado must be with red onions. Last two times I been to this restaurant, I had a bad experience. read more

After the 10th time being at this restaurant, I finally write a review. My husband took me to this restaurant after he met the owners which stayed at the hotel which he works for in FT. Lauderdale and after them inviting us to try it we have made this our go to Peruvian restaurant when we do not want to drive to Miami. Everything is delicious and the service is AMAZING and quick! We always show up without reservation and are always seated within 2 minutes, this place is our go to when we want to crave our needs with ceviche! GREAT JOB GUYS! read more

Ok so did we just go on off night is it peruvian or sushi. Niether one done well. First 8 waiters plus owner running around 3 customers in restaurant had to ask for water refill. I could touch the bar from my table but couldn't get the happy hour wine price. We ordered 3 things.the aphrodisiac it was not bad good presentation. Next arigato roll tasteless mushy . Next the the sashimi arigoto fish that is marinated in in lime can be a tougher not as high grade of fish but sashimi has to be top grade. Wow! This place hits the mark in every way. First, if you couldn't tell by the name, the restaurant is a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine. I love fusion cuisine so I knew I had to try it. I came for lunch with my husband and 2-yr old. When I walked through the door, I was a bit surprised to see how nicely the restaurant was appointed - dim, modern, and nice decor - since it's located in a Publix-anchored strip mall. The place was pretty full at lunchtime which is a great sign for a newly opened restaurant. We were promptly seated and the hostess was very friendly. She made sure we got a highchair and kid-friendly cup of water as soon as we sat down. The lunch menu is pretty extensive, ranging from tapas, soups/salads, special sushi rolls, ceviches and entrees. They also have daily lunch specials for just $7! We ordered the house special ceviche and the lomo saltado - both of which were sooooooo delicious!! Oh, and after you order but before you are served your meals, they bring these delicious roasted, salted corn kernels to your table - loved it! Even though the place was almost full, we were checked on by not only our waiter, but another waiter and the hostess at various times during our meal, to make sure we had everything we needed. Talk about great service! This place is doing it right and apparently the word is getting out! Oh, Weston, and your crazy fusion restaurants! You crack me up. This place is an example of fusion gone right. They don't go nuts trying to make seaweed ceviche or mochi flan, they do more two cuisines side by side with some light flirting between the two. I loved the ceviche here. It was wonderful. We had a group of four and I sampled lots of things which all tasted great. Our check took quite a while to get to us (we were pains in the butts, asking for separate checks, though). Next time, we can always ask for the check when we get our food. The thing about lunching from work is that you usually don't want it to be move than an hour. So not their fault. read more

This used to be one of my favorite Peruvian restaurants but yesterday I realized the food and service has declined tremendously. It was very cold inside it felt like you were in a meat market. My family was so uncomfortable and we asked if they can change the temperature a little and waitress looked at us like we were crazy and said ok will see. Nothing happened to the point some of my family members had to leave outside to get warm. Then the food wasn't the same as before. I ordered the anticuchos for appetizer and they weren't as good as I remember. The huancaina sauce seemed so watery. Then for entree I ordered pescado a lo macho and they brought me a fish in red sauce!! I never had a pescado a lo macho that way. Is usually in a yellow creamy sauce. As soon as I tasted it I was so dissapointed that I couldn't even eat it anymore. I don't know if they changes chefs or what happened but this is not the restaurant I used to rave about. My husband ordered the tallarin verde with churrasco and they brought him steak instead of churrasco. He asked what happened and waitress looked at him like he was crazy. I heard him clearly asking for churrasco when he ordered food. Even at the end to get check they took forever. We have to call waiter many times to get his attention. I think yesterday was so dissapointing that I don't plan to ever come back or recommend anyone to go there. Hope they see this review and take notes of what to do to fix their act. read more

Excellent! Best food around Weston! Food, service and ambiance were great. I had the Miami Heat roll which was good and my wife had the shrimp ceviche. We also tried the quinoa creme brûlée which was good too. Just watch out for apple maps taking you to the wrong place. The restaurant is located on the same place as McDonald's. read more

The bulgogi was seasoned well and they included a number of banchan which all tasted fresh. I asked for lettuce to wrap my bulgogi with as that's common in South Korea but here it is a $4 upcharge for lettuce. I recently dined at this Peruvian restaurant, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The food was beyond impressive, with the ceviche de carretilla being a true standout. It showcased a perfect balance of flavors that left my taste buds dancing with delight. The arrizotada de Lomo was another highlight, a creamy and delicious dish with a steak cooked to perfection. We also indulged in a couple of rolls, and I must say, the octopus and passion fruit rolls were incredibly unique and packed with flavor. This is not the first time I get a wrong order from this restaurant. We order a few times a month and never complained before. We can say that we are regulars and today they have a different order on the webside.! After complaining the manager says on my next order he is putting a note for my sushi order not to be charged. How about fixing and correcting your order on the webside instead. Also they are becoming very cheap with the ginger and wasabi!!! After ordering for the past 20 years I think I will continue ordering from Thai Garlic Sushi or Japan Inn or Miyoki Sushi. read more

One of the best peruvian-japanese restaurants in the area. it really serves great food and very fresh ingredients. however, it is on the smaller side so during rush hour can be hard to get a table. The Miami Heat roll is very good, combined with the ceviche and the seafood risotto. Desserts are delicious but they are pre-made so sometimes they can be a bit sloppy. Service is good and on the faster side. read more

This restaurant offers authentic Peruvian food with a twist of Japanese Fusion! My children tried the Sushi which they loved. My Wife and I stuck with the traditional Peruvian dishes on the menu as entrees and they did not fail, they were DELICIOUS! In fact, one of the best meals we have had. I was in the area wanting sushi and I saw this place with good reviews. Upon entering it's a nice place with tablecloths. Ordered cevixhe Minto and a salmon roll along with miami heat roll. Was small and I didn't like the thick sauces they put on the rolls. The cevixhe was mediocre. This was the first time I was disappointed by my fellow yelpers. read more

Weston has many restaurants. Most are crap (sorry "westonians", but its is true). Ceviche Arigato stands out as being a perfect blend of south american and japanese food. their food is tasty. The quality of the meat and the fish is AWESOME! and the price is very good too. A must GO if you are in Weston. read more

I love the Teriyaki ribs. The teriyaki sauce is thick and sweet and if you mix that with the french fries this dish comes with then it tastes even better. Desserts are also good here although they dont have a huge variety. I recommend the maracuya cheesecake. read more

This is my mom's favorite fusion spot in South Florida. The menu is well built and the flavors are outstanding. This isn't an average neighborhood Asian restaurant, it's much more, so be sure to dress to impress. Also, it's phenomenal for first dates. read more
