Omg so good. Got the oat milk matcha latte (drift matcha?) and added the coconut cold foam. WOW. My mom got a strawberry matcha latte woh oat milk and cold foam. Whopping 12 dollars for a large, but so good. The whole place is adorable. Pink and green and just very cute. Drinks are incredible. Great ambiance. Would definitely be back! Also: get the coconut cold foam.
I really really enjoyed Cha Cha Matcha! Not only did it have such a cute aesthetic, but the staff was so nice and gave great recommendations. I got the iced strawberry matcha latte with almond milk and it was so delicious! I also tried the classic blend I believe it was called and that was wonderful as well. Will definitely be returning the next time I'm in town!
They didn't have the drink I wanted BUT I got a hojicha matcha mixed drink and it was fabulous. Not too sweet and the matcha quality was great. Ambiance is nice - popped in to wait for a friend and their open air seating made for good people watching.
This is the Ariana Grande of matcha establishments in LA. I'm not exactly sure what that's supposed to mean, but it feels appropriate. This place just stands out as its own distinctive character in a sea of matcha places, and is one of the few that I give a full 5 stars. The base matcha itself is distinguishably good (and if you think all matcha tastes the same, you're just a wannabe insta creator that probably thinks all kisses are the same). No, this matcha is true ceremonial grade, and the curated matcha-tails on the menu go together like Ariana with Jesse J. and Nicki Minaj on "Bang Bang". I love the vibe, the mixes, and the lines move reasonably quickly, even on busy days. Have a pet? No problem. Chill with them on the comfortable seats and just people watch the folks walking by on Abbot Kinney.

It's expensive coffee, but the atmosphere here is 10 out of 10, and the employees are super friendly and attentive. There is one bathroom. Cute and aesthetic.

There were 2 employees, one of which I think was new. There wasn't an initial greeting or welcome in but when it was my turn to order the staff member was pleasant. They initially rang up the wrong drink but caught the mistake and quickly fixed it. They do flip the screen at payment and ask for a tip which is typical these days but can make your already $9 drink cost more depending on your preferences. I ordered the strawberry matcha. I like how you can see how the process and how your drinks are prepared. The person before me ordered an iced drink and the employee stood there and weighed it out picking out/adding ice cubes with a tong piece by piece to get the correct weight. That was interesting to watch and caused a little back up in the line. My strawberry matcha with almond milk was just ok. Visually very pretty and at first taste I was pleased. It reminded me of drinking like a liquid version of strawberry ice cream. After the sweetness was gone I got to the matcha part of the drink and I did not enjoy it at all. I found it to be rather bitter. I kept stirring it up but it just wasn't good. I love matcha and this was my fourth this week (from various cafes) but I didn't care for this one. Overall it's a cute cafe and a treat but my experience here was just average.

I got the macademia milk alternative and that made my beauty latte taste even better. Love that they have many milk alternatives available to further customize my drink.
This such an adorable little matcha shop and cafe. It's beautiful designed with a pink and green color scheme. There's a small parking lot in the back of the shop which is perfect. We stopped in for a pop up event collaboration with white fox boutique and the whole event was very organized. We got the strawberry matcha and it was delicious! Very light and not too sweet but you can taste the hint of strawberry. I would love to try the classic matcha next time I stop by. It was an extremely busy day for this pop up and the line wrapped around the corner of the shop but I believe they handled this pop up extremely well. They were so sweet and gave us great customer service. I would definitely recommend trying this place out (:
I stopped by for their collab with Too Faced. I loved the layout and decor for their collab with Too Faced. I ordered their special Cherry Kiss Latte 5/5. Loved the cherry and matcha blend it was not too overpowering from the matcha or the cherry. They were a perfect complement to each other. The shop was filled with lots of Too Faced products and decor giving lots of pink cute girly vibes. Their service was a bit lacking though because when we entered it was not busy at all but waited a bit to be acknowledged and for us to place our order. The gals were chatting a lot but were not very open to offer any products. Some of the tables stayed dirty for some as well before someone came to clean them up. Very cute concept though with all the Too Faced decor.

A few days ago I was sitting with my husband on the loveseat and an employee began spraying us with cleaning solution It got all over my hair, jewelry, sunglasses, clothes, face, hand, Chanel purse, my shopping bag and the brand new clothing, likely inside the cup of open matcha latte It also got onto my husband's face, watch and clothes as well.. He has a skin cancer diagnosis and I also have health issues so this was alarming and totally unacceptable... The employees should be trained to not spray customers who pay $10 + tax for a small cup of matcha When cleaning, they should spray the solution elsewhere into the rag or towel and then wipe surfaces that way It's so careless And an example of the type of thing to expect if you plan on grabbing a cup of matcha here
I really enjoyed the beautiful latte ($7 + $2 matcha shot). Interior was super cute and I appreciate how they measure the matcha powder on the scale to make sure you're getting what you pay for. A bit on the pricey side expect to pay at least $9 for a drink with matcha.

I must have liked their ceremonial matcha , with whole milk , lite ice and ..... guess what ????? They had agave. How a tea place can NOT have agave is beyond me. Honey changes the flavor of the drink and I don't want simple syrup either .... That's just not cool... The fact that Cha Cha matcha got it right on all fronts is a A++++++++ from me .. in fact it was SO good I ordered 2 drinks from them on the same day ... If you're a matcha lover, this is the perfect spot for you! And also if you're into cute things and the color pink. This place is admittedly a bit cheugy but it's oh sooo cute. A girly girls' paradise. Complete with adorable "I love you so matcha!" napkins. I got the draft matcha latte which is already dairy-free and made with oat milk. I was recommended by my sister to ask them to add the coconut cold foam on top and OMG. I tried the matcha without the cold foam and it was good but the cold foam made it OMG good. And yes, it's dairy-free and made from coconut milk. Music to my lactose-intolerant ears! It tastes like ice cream and whipped cream all in one and I could eat this by the spoonful. Such a yummy treat. It's so good atop the matcha. I recommend sipping the matcha from the spout instead of the straw if you get it this way. read more

You can never go wrong at Cha Cha Matcha. The menu isn't huge but the choices are great. Every location seems to have the same general setup and aesthetic: it feels like Cali summer chic with the pink mixed with leafy accents. The staff is usually friendly and the drinks are consistently good. My favorite is the strawberry matcha iced with oat milk. It's not too sweet and the strawberry purée tastes natural unlike some of their competitors drinks. read more

It was my first time here last Saturday and I wasn't impressed. I walked here after attending a different event and seeing multiple people have matcha lattes. Parking was easy for me at that time since I parked in the area around 8:45am, however parking can definitely get tough here. I ordered the purple drink. I was really grossed out by it. It was super super super sweet. I'm not sure if sweetness could be adjusted, but I didn't ask as it was my first time here and sometimes less sugar means less flavor. I wanted to try the drink for how it's supposed to taste. While the ube flavor was there, it just wasn't drinkable. My boyfriend got some sort of matcha lemonade. That one was okay. Yeah, I'm not sure if I'll be back. I'm interested in trying their regular matcha though, but I don't know if I'm open enough to try it unless I'm in the area. read more

decided to try this place when I was in the area not knowing they had a pop up collab with too faced that weekend. I was excited to hear about it but when I walked in, the too faced workers just looked at my friend and me and didn't say anything so I wasn't sure what was going on and just went in line to order a drink. the cha cha workers on the other hand were very kind and patient as they waited for me to decide/order. we ended up getting the cherry kiss latte since it was a limited item and the matcha chai cherry kiss latte - a random blend of flavors that did not really go well together. the base had cherries & strawberries while there was dragon fruit powder on top of a matcha latte. I usually like a flavored matcha but this was not it. it was also $9 which is crazy for a matcha latte that is not very good. I think it was creative and unique (also very cute) but would not get again. I would say it was better than the other drink we ordered but that's already a very low bar. matcha chai - this sounded really good as I love both flavors individually, but the drink itself was not good at all. there was a very strong ginger taste which my friend and I were extremely confused about since we didn't know why it would have ginger. I later read the menu that said their chai latte contained ginger in it so it was my fault for not reading carefully, but I def did not expect that. the ginger was so overpowering, the matcha flavor couldn't really come through and it mostly tasted like drinking ginger water. as we sat, we saw other people coming in and being greeted by the too faced workers who told them about the pop up happening and I wondered why I wasn't met with the same experience. this did rub me the wrong way and if I could give this experience 0 stars, I would. read more

I came here for a pop-up, the white Fox and cha-cha matcha collab! I ended up getting a strawberry Matcha, this was my first time drinking a flavored Matcha so I was nervous, but it ended up tasting really great! I'm not afraid to have flavor Matcha again. An adorable pink and green little matcha shop on one of the corners on Abbot Kinney street. We got the matcha latte with macadamia milk and the draft matcha - I like the draft better, more on the less sweet side when the latte has no sweetener added at all. However, if you want to add a sweetener, they provide a bottle of simply syrup and stevia packets on a side table to add. It looks like they make their matcha with ceremonial grade matcha, however the matcha flavor didn't stand out and the main taste was just my choice of milk (macadamia). I wanted to give this place more love and last Saturday was my second visit. There were quite a lot of people, all the tables were taken. The service was passing, the girls look understandably tired, spending all day making matcha on a busy day. read more

This is a really cute, small cafe in Venice surrounded by plenty of shops and other eateries! The inside is super cute and girly with pink and green vibes to match the matcha name, of course. Parking was super easy to find at 7am right behind the cafe, or there is parking next to the cafe behind Salt & Straw. However, parking can be difficult to find in the later hours of the day, so metered parking or street residential parking may be your best bet if it gets busy. We stopped by on an event day with Too Faced! The set up with the cafe was extremely cute and pink inside. The event drink being served was the Cherry Kiss Latte. The cherry flavors used blended well with the matcha, and it wasn't overly sweet. I liked that I could taste the blend of cherry and matcha, but also be able to make out the difference as well. They also had some chocolate and matcha donuts, along with other bakery items on the side! The staff were really nice and the inside of the cafe was clean. read more

Pretty good. Not the best but gets the job done. Got the strawberry matcha. Wasn't too sweet and the chunks of strawberry and red a brightness to it. It was my first time here to try the matcha strawberry. I love everything matcha! I thought their location was very cute down to their napkins. Drink was very pretty and aesthetically pleasing. But in my personal opinion, I didn't really taste much of the strawberry or other ingredients. And for $8 I thought it was pricey. If anything I'll try the purple drink just to try. I loved the pink and green theme that welcomed my eyes upon entering and the two young ladies that were working the front were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a hot purple drink with Matcha for $10. The girl barely acknowledged my presence while taking my order. I didn't think much of it until she, of course, made a mistake and served me a cold drink after I had waited for 10 minutes. When I pointed this out, they apologized and gave me a hot cup with a cold drink inside.. After another 5 minutes, they made it again, and this time it was disgusting! I was about to leave annoyed without saying anything, but I asked for a refund, and they gave me an order number with no deduction. I come here all the time and it was just purely wrong. Every dollar counts in this day and age.. 10$ might not mean something to your company but for the working class it does. read more

No, they're both open now
I was told all sweeteners in Cha Cha Matcha items are from honey? Is this true? This would really suck because I am vegan and I've been getting the soft serve as well as the lavender matcha. 😭
They have non-dairy options that are vegan! so all drinks can be vegan minus the drinks which have collagen so I'm not sure if that is vegan or not. The soft serve is not vegan, it is made with dairy milk, but they are working on a non-dairy recipe.
