We actually got our order delivered to our office today, and I would say my drink really hit the spot on a labor intensive day. I got the mango mango which was a quite refreshing green tea smoothie. The drink was loaded with huge chunks of fresh mango, agar boba, county milk, with a twist of grape fruit. The drink is definitely on the sweeter side, but it was refreshing and everything was as you'd expect. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.
What's the point of having a rewards program if the reward can't even be honored? I drove all the way from Orange County to redeem a birthday reward through their Toast rewards app, which provides a $5 off QR code that is supposedly scannable in-store. Unfortunately, none of the employees were able to scan the code and simply told me to try ordering online instead -- except there isn't even an option to order online. It felt like the system was set up to fail, and no one was willing to help troubleshoot or find a workaround. The staff came across as nonchalant and dismissive about the issue. What frustrated me most was that even though they could have taken my order directly, they told me to go back to the kiosk and try again, which required waiting in line behind seven people. After about a 15-minute wait, I finally got back to the kiosk and discovered the reward only applied after entering my phone number -- not by scanning the QR code like the app instructs. I don't place all the blame on the employees -- the app itself is poorly designed and misleading -- but the lack of guidance and customer support in-store made the experience worse. Overall, it was a very disappointing visit, and unfortunately we won't be coming back. **note: the irony in all this was that I showed them the Toast app, which they operate their reward system from and the employees looked at me like they were seeing it for the very first time. If you look down at the register, it literally says "Toast" on it and so does the screen where you enter your number for rewards.
I've been to their other locations, and this one is just as good. There's some seating inside, and they also have a big parking lot, though it does fill up fast. You order through a self-service kiosk, which is convenient. We got the osmanthus chappuccino and the cha cha hojicha. Both were really good! Our favorite part was the mochi in the drinks, and the added oats in the cha cha hojicha gave it such a nice texture. They also have a cute free photo booth inside, which adds to the experience. Definitely recommend!
One of the best hojicha lattes I've tried!! Cheese Hojicha Jelly Latte It was creamy and the hojicha flavor was nice and strong. Nice cheese taste from the cheese milk. Doesn't feel oily. Comes with da hong pao tea jelly, which has just the right consistency and texture, not too firm and not too soft. Served with fresh milk. 50% sugar wasn't too sweet. Got it with less ice. I ordered the Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte ($7.25 - Large - 75% Sweet - Less Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 75 cents). To my immense surprise, it's very delicious. The milk carries that crisp, fresh tea flavor. And its Brown Sugar Boba came silky, warm, and supple. It's one of the best boba that I've ever tasted. (Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring card or contactless payment.) I arrived at Cha Redefine (Rowland Heights) on a Tuesday (around 11:30AM - Opening Time). Parking is available, but it's competitive. Luckily, I found an open spot in its big lot. As I approached Cha Redefine (Rowland Heights), I felt myself frowning at the "B" sign on its window. When I entered, Staff casually glanced upon me before resuming their chatter amongst one another. There's two self-service kiosks, and I felt disappointed how each screen looked sticky and smudgy despite being the first customer of the day. Staff felt youthful and easily distracted. When I'd sit down, Staff were audibly gossiping and laughing about past customers. It felt surreal and unprofessional. Staff did greet me kindly when I made eye contact; however, the direct interaction with Staff felt minimal. My order took two minutes and 11 seconds. Very quick! As mentioned, I genuinely loved the Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte ($7.25 - Large - 75% Sweet - Less Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 75 cents). It's Sri Lanka Ceylon Black Tea with Fresh Milk, Whipped Cream, and Honey Roasted Pecan. The top felt fluffy; the honey roasted pecan had a fresh crunch; and the tea felt fresh and soothing. The warm brown sugar boba were the showstopper though. I felt myself melt into a puddle of joy as I munched on these cuddly, fresh pearls. Concerning ambiance, Cha Redefine (Rowland Heights) is fairly bare. The four small tables, floors, and windows are very clean. However, during my visit, the restroom was out-of-order. The music is upbeat and soft. There's also about four available electrical sockets beneath its long bench. When I'd arrived, there were not many customers during opening time. Overall, Cha Redefine (Rowland Heights) offers thoughtful, good quality drinks. I found joy sipping my Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte ($7.25 - Large - 75% Sweet - Less Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 75 cents). It's delicious. If nearby, I recommend. 4.7 out of 5
Orange Green Tea with Avocado Foam was shockingly good... It sounds like a really odd pairing BECAUSE IT IS! I recommend sipping the avocado foam alone first. Almost like avocado ice cream, but better. Super fresh, rich, and creamy! I looooved this. I could eat that by itself even... The Orange Green Tea itself was super tasty!!! Fresh orange juice with lots of pulp. Not too sweet (I got 50% sugar) and the tea flavor shined through. A fragrant jasmine tea. I recommend!
Had a good experience here at Cha Redefine. Came in no wait, browsed the menu a little bit and had no questions. Everything was pretty descriptive if you are familiar with most tea houses. Our drinks were made in a very reasonable amount of time. We didn't have to wait excessively as some reviews had mentioned. It was perfect for us because we had gotten some food at Liang Crispy Roll and since they have no tables there, we brought our food to Cha Redefine where they have 4 small tables to sit and enjoy our drinks and our food. It all worked out. As for the size, getting the larger of the two sizes was only an additional charge of $.45, so pretty worth it.
Came for the lychee series and left with 100 drinks. They menu is so grand and has so many great options. Not only were the tastes fantastic but the staff really helped in choosing what we should get and provided amazing recommendations. The carpenters were playing in the background for music and that's my band.... So I loved how the overall feel of the location made me feel and the drinks were 10/10.
Absolutely love the Mango Mango. It's so fresh and refreshing. Love the fruit chunks and jellies. One of those drinks you can't stop sipping. The Coco Mango is also a great option if you're looking for something fruity and creamy. It's blended with their House Avocado Smoothie. Not overly sweat. You order from the kiosk, and staff seemed to turn around drinks at a decent speed. This place is small with little seating. I hate this parking lot so much, but worth navigating for all the goodies in this plaza.
Their drinks are soooo good. The flavor itself was really great. There is not that much seating, but I did not have a hard time finding a spot bc it seemed most people took drinks to go. The interior is kinda trendy Asian cafe style. My only note is I got their mochi but it kinda tasted like cheese/ sea salt foam? I personally just prefer other mochi toppings I've had that do not have that taste. However, I have also gone to another boba place recently where their mochi had that same cheese foam taste, so perhaps that's just the style of mochi topping these days.

I specifically come here for the coco mango drink! The shop has a self order station and also cashier for ordering. I always come here for the coco mango drink, which has a nice blended texture for the avocado smoothie. It's light and refreshing, the mango tastes fresh. It is a good portion and very satisfying. All the ingredients go well together. My cousin ordered the Matcha Latte which he said was average and nothing too special. My brother ordered the Da Hong Pao Cream which he said was good and had nothing to complaint about. He did say that he would rather try the other options. I have had Cha redefine a few times and I will say it never disappointed me. They have some interesting menu options and I hope to try something new next time. read more
I visited cha redefine on Saturday around 3:45pm, luckily it was not that busy. I chose the #1 Sri Lanka Latte, size large, boba, less ice, half sugar. The drink was quite tasty but the boba was not as fresh, total price $7.75 which is to expected nowadays at "premium" boba shops. I see myself returning to try some other items, hopefully boba is fresher next time. read more

This drink was very vanilla-y which I appreciated. I would have hope the matcha was stronger but it was good regardless because I like vanilla. There is also a hint of rice flavor which I loved as well. The inside is decently small with minimal tables and seating, but when I came it was not busy. read more

We love charedefine's tea. Today we tried the new black sesame pudding milk tea. The milk tea itself I would give a sold 4 star, but the black sesame pudding is 0 star. It doesn't enhance the drink at all, so you might as well add regular pudding and perhaps add the black sesame into the milk tea and not the pudding. And for almost $8 retail price I doubt people will circle back for this drink. read more

Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte (75% sugar and ice): this is one of their fan favorite drinks topped with whipped cream and bits of salted pecans. Lightly caffeinated and it tasted more of a lightly roasted black milk tea. Osmanthus Oolong Cream Foam Cha: Didn't get to try the drink but there are many foam options (avocado, vanilla, taro, and coffee). Parking: Medium size parking lot, might get busy on the weekend to find parking. Service: There is a kiosk and self counter to order your drinks. read more
When I first had Cha Redefine in LA, I was praying for a day that we would have one in the 626 and I was ecstatic to see that the Arcadia mall was going to get one. Now imagine my happiness in seeing that Rowland Heights got one FAR before the mall did. Hint: I was very happy lol. I have to admit that the parking at the plaza here truly is a human nightmare but through food delivery apps, ordering for pick up, or gambling to park behind the plaza or elsewhere and praying, you can be lucky. You can always count on Cha Redefine on having delicious drinks. Just adjust for sweetness and ice level. There's a small amount of seating inside and they do have gift sets and merchandise for sale too. In the past I have ordered their seasonal drinks as well as their classics. Some drinks I've ordered here have inclued their: Refreshing Peach Chappuccino (50% sweet), Large Soy Milk with House Cream, Fresh Strawberry Yakult (50% sweet), Thai Milkshake Latte (75% sweet), and Taro Taro (50% sweet with soy milk). I usually get my drinks around that sweetness level and with less ice and each one has been a solid hit. I like that whenever they do have drinks with whipped cream they have some small bits of candied pecans on top. Adds a nice yummy, sweet crunch. From where you're at you can see the workers make the drinks too and it's cool to see that they take great precision in their measurements and care in crafting your beverages. Great menu with different cold foams, tea flavors, and mochi toppings. + Dirty Da Hong Pao ($6.50; 25% sweet): tastes like oolong milk tea w a stronger coffee flavor that mixed well with the coffee foam (8.5/10) + Regular Jasmine Jade Cha ($4.25 + $0.75 handmade mochi + $0.75 da hong pao tea jelly; quarter sweet): mochi is globby so definitely mix it a bit first. I prefer coming to this location than other locations due to parking. This Cha Redefine is located in a plaza at a corner of Colima and Harbor. Parking is never an issue and there are other restaurants and shops in the same plaza to grab some quick eats. The drinks here don't disappoint. I've tried their chappuccino (similar to milk tea but a little more creamy), regular tea, and their specialty seasonal drinks. All are delicious. My go-to is either the osmanthus oolong tea or the refreshing peach chappuccino. Service is great and the staff is always very friendly. read more
We decided to try a new place today! They have a kiosk on the side to order your drinks. We ordered the Blueberry Oat Milk Matcha Latte and Jasmine Chappuccino. The Blueberry Oat Milk Matcha Latte is delicious! You can definitely taste the blueberry oat flavor in the drink. I got the drink with less ice and 75% sweetness and it was perfect. The Jasmine Chappuccino is also delicious with strong tea flavor. Boba was a good texture. If you like tea, this one is for you! Both refreshing! The service was really slow. We went here around 2:45 PM and it took us 45 minutes to get our drink! Maybe it was just an off day for them. They did apologize for the wait time. The space inside is a little smaller. When on a weekday afternoon and there was no line, and a good amount of seating. We ordered on a touch tablet and the drinks came out pretty quickly. The music inside was kind of loud so it was difficult to talk to the people I went with. The drinks were so delicious! I had the tarp tarp which is taro paste with milk, it was so good and very comparable to other boba shops that also make taro milk drinks. I'm writing this review to warn people about purchasing a large size. They recently changed their size and now the large is regular. Meaning the regular now is even smaller. At first I thought it was a mistake because the cup said large on it. And on top of that they are charging to upgrade to a large. I've been coming here for years now and never had issues besides the quality of matcha dropping lately. Recently it's been tasting watered down which I had asked if they changed recipe or something but never complained. This brings me to the point that the worker mentioned they are serving matcha in smaller cups due to complains on the matcha. At this point it's just greed to charge more for less(check pictures it's clear that one cup has more) read more

They are very busy. We went around 8:30pm. Their signature black tea is running out. My first order, the boba was still hard so I asked for a replacement of tea jelly. Their classic milk tea doesn't taste as strong as dahongpou, kind of plain. If you like stronger tea taste, choose dahongpou over classic. read more

Holy moly this is now my absolute favorite place for a blueberry matcha latte! If my friend didn't recommend this then I would've never tried them. There are sooo many delicious choices on the menu and I was extremely indecisive but I ended up with their Blueberry Oat Milk Matcha Latte under their popular list. It's SO creamy and a very good ratio of matcha to milk. I can taste both blueberry and matcha flavors as I drank it so I'm glad one didn't overpower the other. I ordered a regular size with light ice, regular sweetness and agar boba which is my favorite topping! We were sitting for a while and even grabbed a bite to eat elsewhere and then came back to sit down and of course I was dying to know what their cinnamon toast latte tasted like. I ordered a regular size with light ice and 50% sweetness. It still had ok sweetness in my opinion which is why I chose half sweetness. It was yummy! but I probably wouldn't order it again only because it tastes like what I usually make at home lol. They use cinnamon toast crunch powder which is cool. I'm a sucker for any "cereal" latte that are on menus! Parking can get hectic depending on what time you're coming only because there are a lot of shoppers for the grocery store or people eating at the surrounding restaurants. Big plaza and busy plaza so parking would be difficult when the plaza is bustling. I used to go here when it was a tea brick. Other than that, the drinks are pretty flavorful and not too sweet. The best one for me was the black sesame latte. I work totally recommend it! read more
This is one of my favorite locations of Cha Redefine because it's super closer to home. I got introduced by my friend and I love refreshing drinks. They are well known for the matcha drinks because they use high quality ceremonial grade matcha. I ordered the blueberry oatmilk matcha latte. This will be the go to for me. You can taste the rich matcha flavor and perfect with the blueberry. If you like more of a refreshing tea drinks, the watermelon green tea or mango green tea. It makes it taste more refreshing knowing they use all the fresh fruits. I normally get mine in 50% sweet level. The Service is great. Ordering is fast and easy. You will get a number on your receipts and they will call out your number when the drinks are ready. Plenty of parking space in the plaza! read more

The watermelon and pineapple jasmine teas were so tasty, half sweetened was the perfect amount of sweetness for me. Some green tea half sweetened tasted bit bitter at some tea shops. if you're a matcha lover, you have to give cha redefine a try. me and my friends each got different drinks and tried them all -- every single one was so good! super smooth, not too sweet. fyi it is harder to find parking in this plaza since it gets busy and there's a bit of a wait the menu has a lot of fun options and the vibes are cute too. definitely a new go-to for matcha cravings! read more
Good one!!! Got treat by our best friend and she recommended the avocado and blueberry drink, and yes! It's a flavor that I have tasted before and it's yummy! So to find it here, that's a win! The place is small but clean, the drinks came fast and it's not watery, flavor wise is so good! And refreshing! So I guess I will come here after Java spice! This is truly some of the best matcha soft serve ice cream I've had in a while. They use ceremonial grade matcha so the quality is amazing. Each bite is rich, creamy, and bold in flavor. However, it melts fast compared to the Sri Lanka soft serve so I recommend either sharing it or getting an extra cup to split it. The matcha tornado is one of the recommended drinks and I can see why. The base is housemade fresh taro paste (the real stuff not the powder a lot of places use) and matcha blend. The matcha part is more icy than creamy so it's not my preference but still a great combo worth trying. read more
When I saw the ad for Cha Redefine's promo that if you buy two drinks, you get a free soft serve (9/1/23-9/14/23 at the Rowland Heights location only), and matcha is one of the options, I put it in my calendar right away! I'm a big fan of good matcha and especially matcha ice cream/soft serve, and Cha Redefine did not disappoint! After the first bite, I knew they use the good stuff (and then later I found out they use real Ceremonial Grade Matcha), and then I wished I had a HUGE serving of it. But I had two drinks to consume as well, so I told myself that just means I need to come back again! The drinks I ordered are (you'll find this funny that I chose these two because the names are so similar!): both regular sweetness, which were perfect! Mango Mango: Fresh Mango, Grape Fruit Agar Boba, Coconut Milk, Jasmine Tea. This was very good! The mango was fresh and the way everything complimented each other was perfect. Taro Taro: Housemade Fresh Taro Paste, Fresh Milk, Taro Foam This was also very good! So many taro beverages are made with that taro powder or they just taste off. Also most foam is just too much for me, I end up removing it or just simply ask for them not to add it because I know I won't like it. But Cha Redefine's taro has fresh taro paste and wow that taro foam was so good! it complimented the drink just right! I was so happy with my orders, and I can't wait to try more of their drinks (as they have so many options it was hard for me to narrow it down to just these two), and of course go back for more of that matcha soft serve!! Cha redefine has redefined and refined tea cafes. They don't use powdered tea. All natural ingredients. The boba is slightly hard but chewy. It wasn't not well cooked, it was just slightly harder. The tea taste was strong, and the milk was fresh; not powdered. Not the best I had. But I enjoyed it overall. If you haven't tried it, give it a shot. Because the taste is subject. It's a 4.4 out 5. I've been good when it comes to not getting boba/watching my sugar, but visiting Cha Redefine makes it hard to keep that habit. This location can get busy, but is better staffed than their Costa Mesa location which is in a mall food court. All their drinks are the perfect amount of sweetness (75% is the default) and they have a fun variety of options besides the classic milk and matcha teas. I ordered their Taro Tornado and Coco Avocado. Was a huge fan of the first one since they use paste instead of powder, but the strawberries in the coco avocado threw me off a little. It has a hangout vibe if you can get a seat at one of their few tables, but otherwise it's just as easy to get to-go and find somewhere else to chat with friends. I wanted to try the sri lanka latte soft serve so I called ahead and asked if they had it. The person said yes so I headed over only to be told that they only serve it on weekends. Why did they tell me over the phone that they had it then?!? Minus points for this interaction. I ended up ordering a jasmine chappucino which I'm glad I did bc it was so good! I like it more than the sri lanka latte. It's the perfect blend of tea and creaminess in my opinion and is comparable to the matcha cortado at Omomo. read more
