Got the Mango Mango with 25% sugar. It was really refreshing and not too sweet. The other drinks on the menu also look really interesting so i'd definitely love to come back to try their other drinks. Parking is easy, and there is limited seating, but when I went, there were plenty of seats open. Saw some people here getting work done as well. Service was also really friendly. Highly recommend this place for a late night bev spot!
Located in San Gabriel in the Tawa Plaza is Cha Redefine. They have a few locations all around the SGV area. Came in here on a weekday at night time and it wasn't too busy. Got to get a few seats against the window overlooking the cars coming into the plaza. I got their number 1 drink which is named Matcha Matcha. It comes with matcha cheese foam on top and overall this drink was delicious and I can see why it's on the list and the number 1! My friend tried their mangosteen drink, which is light and refreshing. Overall if you want to come and get some tasty drinks this is the spot to be.
This place has one of my favorite Jasmine milk tea drinks! I love how you can customize the sweetness and how fragrant the Jasmine floral elements are. I also love that you can do oat milk as an alternative for lactose free people. But my favorite part of this place is probably the hand pulled mochi topping it's incredible.
YOOO shout out to the staff that all had Chiikawa buttons. Super cute by the way. Here come new challenger to the 626 BOBA WARS, especially since boba is super saturated on Valley Blvd. and many keep opening up and closing in a rapid rate. Though you can never go wrong with Cha Redefine and this was a solid location as well. It replaced where Boba Ave 8090 was, so it's in that center circular building in the plaza. Very relaxing atmosphere inside, modern style. There's a couple seats and tables inside for people to hang out or attempt to work and study. Not super spacious, but not the smallest either. They have the black and white photo machine like the other locations, but this one didn't print. This location also has baked goods (more so than in some of the locations like Rowland Heights) and has gelato (I've only seen soft serve, so this was neat). You order from the cashier and they call out your order for pick up at the other side of the counter. Fast, friendly service. I got the Hojicha Einspanner with less ice and no sweetness adjustment. Strong hojicha flavor that went well with the fresh milk. Make sure to mix in the Hojicha cold foam and the crispy rice puff adds a fun carb crunchy texture to the drink too. I'm like an adult drinking my almost $10 cereal milk tea if you think about it. Nice roasted flavor overall. Cup size isn't the biggest and I think this only comes in one size, but the flavor is good, so Cha Redefine will always be a solid in my book. There's so much boba in this area that it's truly a battle to see which one wins me over when I'm in the area (at least once a month), but I'll definitely come back to try their gelato!
I've been here now what seems like 8 times in the past two months, and it is one of those milk tea places where all the pretentiousness oozes right out the glass doors and hits you in the face before you enter. From the aloof nature of the cashiers taking your order to the overpriced pastries on display and even to the strangely designed interior where functional space for queuing to order makes no sense, all of it should be red flags this place is all flash and no substance. Yet, when the drinks come out somehow the flavors and taste melt away all those glaring signs. The atmosphere starts to mellow out and you start to see how well the colors on the walls and choice of wood for the seats create a harmonious feel, even if the pathways are still a long list of OSHA violations. Their top 10 best sellers are the same it seems no matter where you go (we saw the exact same list at a different location in Arcadia), but there is no lie when it comes to those drinks. They really are delicious and great choices. The ingredients feel fresh and teas taste rich. I don't know if the cha is redefined but perhaps refined is a good description. When I first tried Cha Redefine, I wanted to hate it. All of the initial impressions really made me want to kick rocks and prove how overrated this place would be, especially for the prices. However, after drinking a good number of drinks I don't think I can hate it. I can still think the service is whack, the design is daft, and the price is high, but the drinks are legit good. Cha Redefine is a treat worth having and one even more enjoyable when someone else pays.
This is my first time at this location. It is spacious. The interior is really nice. I get the blueberry oat milk matcha, and it is solid. They have a large variety of drinks on their menu that I need to try next time!
I have ordered from here multiple times now. They have cute bags and so many drink options. Their drinks are decent, imo. Kinda pricey... All the drinks I have tried were ok. Not the best but not the worst. Something to drink when thirsty. If you go during the evening or night time, it is best to avoid their pastries. We got a plain croissant at night. They gave it to us without warming it up or anything. It was hard as rock. After warming it up, it wasn't even warm. It was still cold. It got even harder lol Not something I would drive outta my way for. They closes late so it is convenient when needing a drink while in the area
CHA REDEFINE is one of the best spots to get delicious drinks with a variety of flavors including coffee !! Sometimes I find it hard to get my matcha, coffee and GOOD BOBA FIX in the same store. This place has it all! I literally never tried a drink here I didn't think was bomb. Good service, it is quite a long wait ... but it's pretty inside and clean, lots of comfy seating and when you get drink it's all worth it. My FAVE IS : Mochi barely milk tea with POPPING BARELY that is so delicious and a great refreshing switch from traditional boba but still getting that chew, I usually always get sugar but this one with 0% sugar is still delicious because the mochi is sweet. Mango Mango : if you love mango sago drinks, this one is so refreshing and again, no need to add sugar it's perfect with 0% sugar still sweet and has jasmine green tea which makes it extra good imo perfect balance. If you like peach tea, please get the peach chappucino so good! Stopped by Cha Redefine while I was shopping in the newly renovated Tawa plaza. I had their blueberry oat milk matcha and it was pretty decent. The drink had a good matcha flavor but was slightly overwhelmed by the blueberry flavoring. The drink is recommended at 75% sweetness but that was a little too much for me. The staff were friendly and the interior itself has a few tables and benches where you could sit and enjoy your drink / desserts with your friends and has a free black and white photobooth. Would recommend coming in to try their unique drinks and take a photo.
I'm so excited for the San Gabriel location to be open! They'll have ice cream and croissants and pastries on top of their normal menu as well. The store typically opens around 11 or 11:30am and it's spacious so there's a good amount of seating as compared to other locations.
6/25/26 I was really excited & rearing to go in.... Entered the doors and was told, "We open at 11". I figured it was an open door that they were. Would've passed the chance coz time is money but J figured J will take my business elsewhere but decided to return. J walked over to Kee Wah. When I returned, it was starting to pick up already. My less than warm reception was not impressive. The young man at the counter did not greet me and I may have startled him when I loudly said "Hi! Good morning!" as I stood there waiting for him to acknowledge the presence of a customer. If anything, I value these interactions & it didn't bode well. Ambiance is modern, clean, even the single stall restroom was clean and furnished for comfort. Music is extremely loud, not much for conversation if you would like to stay to enjoy your beverage with a friend, unless you relish shouting over each other. Perhaps it's only geared for the younger crowd. I ordered the HOT Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte with oat (extra $0.75 for the oat milk)--- the only reason I'm giving it a 3 star rating. This beverage was actually very good. Not many beverages are made hot here (silly me, I thought tea & coffee are traditionally served hot vs. cold). The house cream made it palatable & the crunchy nut bits were a pleasant surprise. This is newly opened in the TAWA Gateway plaza, with many businesses sharing the lot, which I'm fairly certain will be packed in peak hours. The experience was lackluster as it was not the most welcoming atmosphere from the staff but at least I gave it a try.
Visited Cha Redefine with my lovely wife during their grand opening and it's just like the other locations I've been to. They're pretty big and have plenty of tables around. The cafe is very clean and big, free parking in a large parking lot as well. They share same plaza with two other boba shops and are close to popular restaurants as well, perfect spot to get some drinks after a meal. My go to drinks here are the matcha tornado and the Osmanthus drinks as well. All are refreshing to drink especially on a warmer day. This spot doesn't seem like a spot to hangout with friends as they don't have big tables. More of a grab and go type cafe. CRF is known for their higher quality drinks so I'm very happy to have another boba spot added to an already packed SGV.
Sg has become the spot for boba. I ahve been trying to try all the new spots that just open and i am so glad to have finally checked off cha redefine. for co text, I have tried the arcadia location before. I remember getting a fruit juice (cant recall which) but i wasnt really vibing with it. however, when the sg location opened, ive been seeing/hearing sm hype about this place and decided to give it another go! we came, and it was pretty crowded but our order came out pretty quick! we ordered the - Sri Lanka Ceylon latte (7/10) loved the pecans & whipped cream. base was not as tea-a compared to the other mainland boba shops in sg but still phenomenal! also not too sweet - canneli? (idk if i spelled correctly, 5/10) would've given it an 8/10 but it was 3.75 per piece which was kinda insane to me. but it was rlly good. it kinda tasted like an elevated madeline cookie, rich and fluffy in the inside with a burnt crisp texture on the outside. - Coco mango Gelato (10/10) so good omg! I love ice cream, and this hit home!! loved the Gelato u can rlly taste the cream. the fruits were very fresh and sweet!

This was my first time trying Cha Redefine and I left pretty disappointed. There was essentially no service--you order at the kiosk and they have a tv screen showing in progress orders or orders that were ready for pickup. Our matcha gelato came out first, and it was very underwhelming due to the tiny scoop. The flavor was there, but the size was not what I expected. We also ordered the matcha guava cloud and guava lime blossom. We were watching our number on the tv screen update from in progress to ready for 20-30 minutes. We ended up realizing that something was wrong with their system because our number wasn't updated on their screen for a while. We decided to just walk up to ask about our order. They informed us our drinks had been ready and their system was glitching. It was really disappointing because our drinks were not as fresh or cold when we picked it up since we waited a long time and they never called out our number even when they knew their system was glitching. Their drinks were good but the service at located is very poor. We are hesitant to return and will probably visit a different location next time. read more

New tea chain that opened up in this busy San Gabriel plaza. Open late night which is great for hanging out. Indoor and outdoor seating. Refreshing drinks. Nice service and even gave my dog whipped cream on the side! The mango chili uses real mango for that sweet natural mango flavor. The ceylon cha latte comes with a thick whip cream and nuts on it. Tea was good. Would come back if I'm craving a late night drink. They also have ice cream and pastries here! read more
Of course I had to visit the newest Cha Redefine location. This location is pretty much the same as the one in Arcadia. The shop has a clean, minimalist aesthetic. There is minimal seating inside, so it seems better for a grab-and-go experience rather than hanging out for a while. The menu has many creative drinks and a decent variety of drinks to choose from. I really like the chappuccino and cha latte drinks, whereas my husband really likes the ceremonial matcha grade drinks. Their drinks do lean towards the sweeter end though, so I prefer to get half sweetness here. Although there is no self-order kiosk, they do have online ordering through Toast and a loyalty program. The store opens until 1 am everyday, making it the perfect boba spot for late-night visits. Plenty of parking, including underground level parking, is available in the shared plaza. read more

Matcha Matcha 5/5 (good if you like matcha) Mango mango 5/5 (50% sweet is just right) Mango Passion Chill 4/5 (25% sweet is still a bit sweet) Almond Croissant 5/5 (only if it is baked fresh) Service 5/5! My overall experience has been good! However, their bakery goods are not good if you come in the late afternoon or evening. They're either cold or too hard to eat. I would recommend their almond croissant, but get it when they open or early afternoon - otherwise it's a waste of your money. read more
I had a good experience at Cha Redefine (San Gabriel). I ordered the Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte ($7.50 - Large - 75% Sweet - Less Ice). It's Sri Lanka Ceylon Black Tea, Milk, Whipped Cream, and Honey Roasted Pecans. I enjoyed the prominent fresh tea flavor, but it all tasted like a SUGAR explosion. It's VERY sweet. (Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring Card or Contactless Payment. Also, this location uses a gimmick where customers receive a FREE Fragrance Card if they show a Yelp Review; practice caution when checking the reviews. I vehemently dislike these gimmicks.) I arrived at Cha Redefine (San Gabriel) on Tuesday (around 11:13AM). Parking is easy. The main lot is very big. Also, there's extra underground parking whenever it's busy. Customers must order at the counter; there's no self-service kiosk. Staff (receipt says Yuhang) is very welcoming, friendly, and diligent. Yuhang happily answered all my questions, and Yuhang moved purposefully. There was no line, but the drink arrived very slowly. I waited about 13 minutes for one drink. As mentioned, I ordered the Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte ($7.50 - Large - 75% Sweet - Less Ice). I had loved this same drink at the Rowland Heights location, so I chose it again. However, San Gabriel made it very sugary. The crisp, fresh tea flavor was almost masked by all the sugar. If searching for a dessert, this is a good option. The ingredients tasted fresh and well-intentioned. On ambiance, Cha Redefine (San Gabriel) is clean, well-ventilated, and a little loud. Lively Pop Music echoed everywhere. There's about seven round tables, and there's about eight electrical outlets. Also, I appreciated the gender neutral restroom in the corner. The location is popular with a steady flow of customers. Overall, I appreciated Cha Redefine (San Gabriel). It's a good option for tea; however; there's also many amazing, alternative nearby choices. I really like how many interesting drink options there are at this location. I ended up getting the Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte. Great tea taste and the whipped cream topping added a nice foaminess. The pecan had a nice crunch to it. The service was quick, even though the store was pretty crowded. There was plenty of seating but it felt like most people were waiting for their drinks. The shop was large and felt well lit. The parking lot was in a huge complex with other stores so it was easy to find parking. read more
I'm so happy to see that one of my favorite tea shops is now open in the SGV! They have an amazing selection of delicious drinks, and I highly recommend the mango mango if it's your first time at CHA redefine! The drink is filled with fresh mangoes! I also love that they have seasonal drinks that rotate, so it's always fun to see which drink will pop up next. This time, they have a Longan Coconut series, and the Coco Longan Lemon is so refreshing. You can taste the real coconut water! This location also serves really good gelato. My kid loved the coconut gelato, she was literally screaming for more! I've also had their pastries, and for a boba shop, they have a VERY flakey, buttery and TASTY croissant! Like... you'd never think to get it, but it's AMAZING! Love the vibes, love the drinks, and can't wait to try more! read more

It's a high quality brand that offer high quality boba drinks. This new location is at Valle blvd adjacent to the Hilton hotel. They just opened about a week ago, and everything is brand new from the aesthetic decor to the electronic menu board. Cha Redefine is known for their top 10 drinks. My default drink is the Mango Mango boba! It's freshly made purée mango. Staff were nice and competent. Drinks and pastry are priced fairly well. Store is spacious and neat. Plenty of parking since it's in a large plaza. Overall, it's a nice spot to grab a boba drink. I recommend it. read more
So happy this Cha Redefine is open closer to my house! The drinks are solid and still as consistent as their other locations. Where to start? There are so many good options, no matter what I am craving or who I am with, I feel this place has it all. There are refreshing drinks like fruit teas (peach oolong!), lattes (Sri Lanka!), matcha (blueberry oat matcha), and also heavier or non caffeinated drinks (coco melon!). There are so many other flavors that are good or that I haven't even tried. I normally get 70% sugar at most places but I'll get 50% here for things without toppings. I was also impressed with the service especially during the times they had their promotions. The line moves, the ordering process is easy (friendly staff) and the drinks come out faster than expected. I am not sure if they are still experimenting with their hours but we got to hangout there till almost 1am on Friday night. The latest new addition from Cha Redefine. Solid drinks as always but a few pros/cons to consider: + Pros: Nice setting with plenty of spacing, ample parking in the Focus Plaza lot, plenty of restaurants near or in the Plaza to make it a worthwhile stop + Cons: even on a slow Wednesday night, they were backlogged by a large number of food delivery app orders (which you can see on the waitlist TV screen). Probably spent 10 to 15mins just waiting for a basic drink. The worse part is that they don't announce numbers when your drink is ready and ordering from the counter doesn't give you a text notification so it requires you to pay attention on the screen on your own to see when your drink is ready. Also the weird layout doesn't give a ton of seating so plan on grab and go. Net net, service can use improvement but the drinks are solid like the other locations. read more
Love that cha redefine is expanding to the SGV. location inside Tawa gateway / focus plaza. This one is definitely bigger and beautiful interior with a cute photo booth for pictures. I came on the grand opening weekend, they had bogo deal. They also came out with some new drinks like the Mango passion chill and Coco Logan, very refreshing and delicious. I also ordered Mochi Taro. Wow how come I never ordered this? additionally, they have gelato that are made inhouse and pastries. The dubai chocolate is my favorite. lots of filling and crispy, flaky on the outside. I highly recommend trying the gelato and pasries!! The service was nice and quick. there are plenty of tables and outdoor seating available ! read more

This Cha Redefine is in the TAWA Getaway plaza with 99 Ranch Market and Daiso. This Cha Redefine is near the ends of Marugame Udon and Wushiland Boba. Right now, they may/may not have a line due to it being freshly opened. They have so many pastries and they also have gelato. This place is the ONLY place that has gelato for Cha Redefine. In addition, they have a cute little photo booth on the left side near the restrooms. The service was great and they finished the drinks promptly. I like their Coco Lemon Longan with the refreshing lemon and longan taste. In addition, this was the time where they had BOGO on all drinks! I would recommend this to any Boba lover and anyone who loves a great place to hang out! TIP: There's ample parking and a restroom. The restroom is gender neutral! Right now til 6/18, they will do a late night special with their drinks as 50% off. read more

The Service: Friendly & efficient service! Staffs are very professional & well trained. Excellent customer service! The Food: My absolute favorite is Mango Mango! It's totally a dessert beverage. I can taste real mango chunk & boba. Super refreshing! If you are a matcha lover, definitely need to try the Matcha Matcha. Good quality matcha with match cheese foamon top. They are now offering gelato, Matcha & Sri Lanka milk tea flavors. If you want something to go with your coffee, try their croissant pastry with cheese & bacon bits. Came for their grand opening since they were doing a BOGO special and giving tote bags to the first 200. I came in the afternoon and there was line that went all the way outside but luckily it wasn't that long, and it took around 30 minutes or so to get inside. They only have one register so that's why ordering took so long. I got the Mango Mango regular size (7.95) and my friend got the Mango Passion Chill (7.95). This was worth because of the BOGO deal. They have a few seats inside and the interior is very nicely decorated. We sat inside for a good 30 minutes or so until the drinks were ready. Both drinks tasted fresh and not overly sweet. The mango passion chill tasted mostly of passion fruit though and not much mango. As for the mango mango, I like the smoothie consistency and the small chunks of mango, but it is pricey for this price and size. There are other places with mango drinks that are cheaper or bigger sized. Next time I will stick with their chappucino instead. read more

Love that there's another Cha Redefine location near me! We came on Mother's Day for their grand opening special and the line was honestly not that bad. I was maybe 12th in line and it took a total of 45 min to order and receive all my drinks. Once I actually got to the front and ordered the drinks came out pretty quickly. Things we tried, everything was ordered at 25% sweet. Cha cha lychee rice: the sweetness at 25% was perfect! So tasty and refreshing with little bits of rice and jelly. I really liked this one. Blueberry oat milk matcha latte: Could taste both the blueberry and the matcha flavor. This was a bit on the sweet side for me though. Mango passion chill: husband ordered this and he really enjoyed it. Definitely try it if you like fruit teas. There were a lot of mango bits in it. Coco strawberry and coco mango: got these for the kids (their usual order) and they really enjoyed them. Drinks were solid. I wish they had the option of going down to 0% sugar though. On the app some drinks have the option to select 0% but when I ordered in person they said the lowest they could go was 25%. The store is pretty spacious and there's a few seating areas to hang out. Parking is easy as of now but once more stores open up I'm sure it'll get packed. read more

There's a good amount of seating inside but also outdoor seating for the TAWA plaza. Plenty of parking here. I got the mango passion chill ($7.95) which comes in one size. At quarter sweet, it is just right. It has some chunks of mango at the bottom. Very refreshing on a hot day. read more

I came in on the last grand opening day on May 10th around 1pm. It wasnt a huge line but still took an hour to get to the ordering area. I got 2 matcha einspanners as part of their BOGO deal as well as a coconut matcha Gelato (only location that offers it). The service was nice and efficient, drinks were made pretty quickly as well. The inside is cool and spacious so waiting wasn't a big deal either. The Gelato itself was creamy and delicious. The matcha definitely overpowers the coconut a bit but I didnt mind it. The flavor pairing worked pretty well! The einspanner was not as strong on the match taste as the Gelato. I was suggested by one of the workers to sip it from the cup instead of using a straw but they provided a straw regardless. It was creamy, light, and tasty. The rice puffs added a nice texture into the mix. I'll be back to try other things in the future. read more

We got the: Mango Mango Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte Matcha Matcha Hojicha Einspanner I got to check out ChaRedefine's newest location at the Tawa Gateway Plaza in San Gabriel for their media event, and WOW the drinks here are phenomenal! It's also such a cute new spot to hang out, study, or catch up with friends. The space feels modern but cozy, and everything is beautifully presented. Definitely a place you'll want to snap pics at. They have a fun photo machine!! My personal favorite was the Hojicha Einspanner! It was so rich & creamy with deep roasted, almost chocolatey notes without being overly sweet. The mango mango smoothie was super refreshing too. It is packed with real mango chunks and crystal boba that added the perfect chewy texture. The matcha matcha is soo creamy, velvety, and sweet. I also really enjoyed the Sri Lanka Ceylon milk tea with boba, as it had a strong tea flavor and delectably chewy boba! This location also serves pastries + gelato! The coconut & matcha combo was insanely creamy and flavorful. I'd highly recommend trying that if you're a dessert person. Such a solid addition to the SGV boba scene. Between the quality drinks, desserts, and opening deals, ChaRedefine SG is definitely worth checking out! read more
I got myself the red beet drink which tasted good but it was so filled with ice I pretty much finished it in four gulps. The line was really long for this place but after ordering it took maybe 10 minutes for our drinks to be ready. I'd say easy on the ice next time if I ever come back but overall it was tasty and sweet. Too bad they only have drinks with tea in them. I'd prefer a variety of drinks with or without tea. The place was lively but seating was sparse. I realized later there was seating outside which would've been an option for us. Plenty of parking in this establishment. read more

The drinks here are really good. I enjoyed my drink and I'd definitely come back for another one. The only downside was the boba. It should be a crime to serve boba freshly made. It tasted like it didn't have much sweetness or flavor, so it felt pretty bland. I actually ended up leaving a lot of the boba in my cup because it just wasn't enjoyable to eat. If they can improve the flavor of the boba or let it soak in the syrup a bit longer before serving, this place would easily be a 5-star spot. Coco Mango is good. Avocado smoothie base is light and gives a slight nutty taste. Mango sauce at the bottom, good flavor, a bit stringy from the mango fibers. You can only have it 75% sweetness. Solid service, completed in reasonable amount of time depending on how many people are there. It's a cafe after all. Selfie machine inside. Finally, they did something with that plaza, it's been years since I've last went there for that big restaurant at the top of the main building. Kind of nostalgic but we know why they're putting up the boba shops first. read more
