This place is great! I was in desperate need of a polish change and the nail salon I typically go to closes at 7pm so I got on Yelp and stumbled upon Cha Cha's. This place is such a gem! I love the fact that they stay open til 10pm for all of those working ladies out there. It's also conveniently located with ample street parking in the surrounding neighborhoods. Everyone is very friendly there and the prices are reasonable, a polish change will run you $10 but if you have time get a mani + pedi for only $35. Last week was my first time at Cha. I walked over to get a manicure and pedicure. I had 2 holiday parties coming up and I wanted candy cane nails. It was a little challenging explaining the design to the team, but once I showed them a picture they were able to figure out what I wanted. Tracy surprised me. She had never done this design, but was meticulous and my nails look stunning. Stephanie did my pedicure, but wasn't as confident in the design, so Tracy did it on my toes. Ok, I have definitely paid Cha Spa enough visits by now to write them an informed and glowing review. In short, Cha Spa is my go-to for an inexpensive AND quality mani/pedi. You simply cannot beat their 20% Mon-Thurs (before 3 pm) special. A regular mani/pedi is normally $35, but only $28 during the special hours. You can barely get a manicure alone for that price at most salons in the area! (Edited 5/5/17: apparently the 20% special is no more. Was sorely disappointed this week. I'm assuming it's only during the off season to drum up business. Spring has arrived, and no more discount. So sad!) Is it the fanciest, newest nail spa around? No. Does it have the Chanel and Nars polishes like Olive and June? No. But you will ALWAYS get a quality mani/pedi at the most reasonable price for miles around. They stock the standard OPI and Essie polishes, as well as some Kiara Sky and plenty of gels. Most recently, I appreciated the thoroughness of the "callus removal" during my pedi. When I spring for the added cost elsewhere, I feel like the techs do a half-assed job and I don't get my money's worth (or a smooth foot). For $10 at Cha Spa ($8 during the special), my tech probably spent around 10 EXTRA minutes really scrubbing and filing away at the rough spots on my feet. She didn't skimp, give up, or simply work a few extra minutes and move on. She really worked at my heels until the job was done correctly. I appreciated that so much, and was happy to spend the extra money this time. Worth noting that the large windows make for excellent Montana Ave. people watching. There is bench seating for pedicures, not massage chairs. Occasionally I stray to "treat myself" at one of the fancier nail spas. But that isn't realistically affordable for regular mani/pedis. More often than not, I'm making my appointments at Cha Spa. End scene. read more

It's clean and individual functioning sinks for the pedicures and they put plastic liners in the sink but I don't know how they calculate their prices I was supposed to do a mani pedi with massage and just didn't. The mani pedi because the bill was already $107.00 with the Callie gel and a 5 minute message because I needed my ankle massaged the think is it's cash only and they wrote the receipt wrong if it accurate and I even tipped 15% I paid $107 plus $5 tip to the pedicuring and $5 tip to the manicurist and they wrote the receipt as $48 for the service when I gave them more I don't know if it was by accident or they're pocketing the cash. It only lasted 7 days for the gel mani pedi the massage was mediocre but it's what's running their business.it's really expensive and for my money at that price I was expecting better I might as well have taken the cheaper range mani pedi salons I don't know if I should trust them to be honest if I were to become a loyal customer read more

Came in on a Wednesday morning for a gel mani with Wendy and regular pedi with Teresa. They were able to take care of me right away. Both were very sweet and efficient, with great attention to detail! The combo came to $57, which was reasonable for the quality of work. I was in desperate need of some TLC and had walked by Cha Spa before but was unable to get a massage because they were booked solid. This weekend I planned ahead and booked two $35 foot massages for Sunday afternoon. We arrived on time, parked for free in the lot in the back, and were ushered to the massage chair. Things started off with a warm foot bath and pressure on my temples. I don't love pressure on my temples, so I would have preferred to skip over that bit. They end up giving you a full body massage and most of it was good but there were a few things that I found irritating. My husband absolutely loved his massage, which reminds me again that it's not the place, the service provider that matters most. The price is hard to beat, especially considering the location. Did you know that a properly done foot massage stimulates nerves throughout your body that aids in removing toxins (detox)? At least that's what I'd read; I was alarmed after my first foot reflexology here because I felt really nauseous afterwards and read up on that, which makes sense to me. Anyway, this place is a lifesaver for women suffering from high-heels pain (I go here immediately after a weekend in Vegas). Prices are surprisingly reasonable for Santa Monica as well ($50 for 90 minute foot massage, which also includes some body work; I think it was $65 for a 90 minute full body). That all being said....While my masseuse was wonderful and didn't chat with anyone else while working on me, there was a bit of chatter going on around us. There was one customer in the reception area who felt the need to yell (yes, yell!) to her friend across the street....Somebody from the staff should have asked her to keep her voice down. This place is AMAZING!!!!! I went for my first time to Cha Spa today, 6/28/14. I have had chinese massages and foot massages before but this place takes the cake. I used to drive all the way to Monterrey Park from the westside. Now I will only come to Cha Spa! i suggest making an appointment. There schedule gets very busy, which is always a good sign! I made an appointment for the 90 min combo (30 min foot massage - 60 minute chinese massage) I was greeted by Simon, the manager, and he checked me in even though i was about 20 min early for my massage. I had no problem waiting. They have a beautiful calming fountain and spa water in their lobby. The lobby is small...so I wouldn't come more than a few minutes before your appointment. When it was time for my appointment, I was walked back to the massage bed. For those who are not used to chinese massages, there are massage beds and you wear your clothes, so always dress comfortably! Everything was very clean, much better than places I have been to before. The linens all smelled clean and there was a bin designated for my belongings. Also each bed can be individually closed off via opaque curtains. Peter, my masseuse, was very professional and adjusted the bed for me. Peter was great and made sure everything felt comfortable. Peter had great pressure and made sure the pressure level was good through out the massage. Peter's use of pressure points and foot reflexology was amazing. I have never had a better foot massage. During the chinese massage, I had the option to have back lotion and undress to have a full back massage. I chose to have the lotion. I was given privacy and allowed to undress. Peter's back massage was amazing. I have never felt the knots in my neck release as much as Peter got them to. After 90 minutes of bliss, I changed back into my clothes and was greeted outside the massage space with water and candy by Peter. I walked to the front and was checked out by Simon. They accept credit cards! Cha Spa also has a punch card....for every service you get, you earn towards future services. I will definitely be back here again very soon! read more

The manicurist was absolutely the sweetest, and the store owner, Diana, brought a complimentary tray of cookies and sweets to me during my service. I was absolutely relaxed, rejuvenated, and delighted with their hospitality. On top of that, Diana asked what type of beverage I would like while having my nails done (the fact that they have a selection already was amazing) and brought me a cup of tea that was self-brewed with goji berries, chrysanthemum flowers, and other herbal essences that honestly made it one of the best cups of tea I had ever tasted. Decided to try Cha Spa for the first time because it's around the corner from my boyfriend's place and looked like a good spot for a mani/ pedi. After doing some yelp research, decided to ask for Stephanie, as she was noted a review times in other reviews as being a great technician. I called an hour ahead of time and made an appointment with her. I arrived at 215 and I have to say I was not disappointed. My nails are particularly short right now and my nail beds are on the small side. With that said, Stephanie did an awesome job working on my toes and fingers! She offered adds on such as callous removal and paraffin wax, but did not push them like some places do. I agreed to try the paraffin wax. While I waited, she also offered a shoulder and neck massage for $1 per minute. I obliged, as I have to say I was intrigued after watching a few other clients partake. I have to say overall it was a great experience and total cost was $90, which included tip for a pedicure, gel manicure, 10 minutes massage and paraffin wax. Stephanie also spend an hour and a half with me and it definitely was not a rush job. The only downside was that they prefer a cash tip, and I completely forgot to grab some cash on the way. I love this place! I have had some of the best foot massages of my life here and a few combo massages that are in my top 5 best massages- including some from the super swanky expensive places in town. I have been to a few different foot reflexology places ike this in West LA and this is hands down the best. It's more expensive than the others but WORTH it, and still less than most massages. Just went back last night and my therapist honed right in on my troubled shoulders. There aren't a ton of beds so you can't always get a walk in appointment but most of the time they have been able to accommodate me. The only feedback I would give is to the clientele - people, if you are walking into a massage place where there are no doors, only curtains, please whisper. You would not want me loudly asking about availability while you are getting your relax time. I would suggest putting up a little sign at the check in desk that says 'please whisper' or something and then point to it if there is a loud woman. Not worth it. They told me it was a 5 minute wait, then after 10 min they sit me with my feet in the water and start attending another woman who walked in after me. I'm waiting to be attended and one of the women finished but doesn't want to attend me and I'm waiting about 25 minutes awkwardly seeing them just look at me until the girl who finished I guess switched with another woman, meaning for some reason she didn't want to attend me. I don't know why but it's very unprofessional to not at least even give an explanation as to why they are taking so long.
