This was a dinner with a group of friends who hadn't seen each other in a while (25 years) and now that the circle has grown, I was the new one at the table. They had to see if I was "friend" worthy too. So naturally, they took me to a restaurant attached to a gas station. A gas station. But listen, I'm familiar with the dirty South, where gas‑station food is practically a love language, so this wasn't my first rodeo. I walked in fully prepared for flickering lights, mystery smells, and maybe a man named Bubba buying beef jerky or scratch offs. Instead, Chabuca hit me with mood lighting, real menus, and a vibe that said, "Yes, we share a bathroom with a gas station, but we are still THAT girl." Okayyyyyyyy then girl! (Clock it finger motion) It was actually busy, and honestly? I was impressed. You walk in expecting "gas station chic," but this place had no business being this cute, this classy, or this delicious. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was giving "hidden gem," and the food came out fast and fresh and not a microwave in sight. For a restaurant that shares a restroom with people pumping diesel, this place is out here serving like it's auditioning for a Food Network feature. This was "I'd bring my mama here" good. This was "I forgot I parked next to a gas pump" good. I came in expecting chaos and convenience‑store energy. I left a believer. If loving gas‑station‑adjacent restaurant is wrong, I don't want to be right. Let's get into it! Half Chicken- Delicious (apparently they run out daily-luckily got the rest of them that visit) Aguaito- Chicken soup was amazing! Patacones - Fried Plantains- was similar to a Puerto Rican (ya tu sabe-wepa) Tostone -Loved it! Drinks- Top Tier Everyone loved their meal! Highly recommend!

This review is for the new Avalon Park location. Don't even know if they are affiliated. Anyway, it was delicious! Cute atmosphere, great service, and great food! Will be back!

This restaurant is such a hidden gem! We didn't know what to expect upon arriving to the restaurant seeing that it was attached to a gas station, but don't judge a book by it's cover and don't judge this restaurant based on its location! Everyone loved everything we ordered, even my 8 and 12 year old nephews. - The grilled octopus was cooked to perfection and had such a good char and was seasoned well. - The classic ceviche was fresh, tender, tangy, and delicious. - The lomo saltado was flavorful, tender, and we couldn't get enough of the sauce it came with. - The crispy fish with seafood sauce was cooked very well and had such a good creamy sauce! The portion was also very generous especially for seafood! - The seco a la nortena was ok. The other dishes were so good that this one was just ok in comparison. It was still tasty, but felt like more of a comfort, homey dish. Chabuca exceeded my expectations and knocked our socks off! They decorated it very well and gave it a whole new, modern feel from the fast food chain it used to be. Service was good. It wasn't a busy night, as it was a Wednesday, but they greeted and seated us promptly and the food came out piping hot and cooked just as we asked - medium and medium rare for 2 dishes of the lomo saltado. The price was very reasonable for the quality too. My little adventurous, foodie nephew loved the octopus so much, he can't wait to come back to enjoy it again. Needless to say, we will all be back!

My wife is Peruvian and I love Peruvian. First time there today and totally satisfied. The staff were all so nice and friendly. The atmosphere was pleasing. The food was excellent. We will be returning and taking friends there. My wife and I shared a Pisco Sour (she drank more of it) loved it. My wife has Seco a la Nortena and I had Classic Ceviche. Healthy portions and we had to take both home. The bad thing it is just down the road from our home. The good thing it is just down the road from our home.

I wish I could have given them 7 stars. I'll start with desert first. TRES LECHES cake was amazing with homemade bailey's liquor. Then the MCO Stir Fry and the Lomo Saltado were delicious but it all started with Causa Limena with Chicken which was like a cold chicken salad meets potato salad but presented as a tower. Very delicious. And try the Lemonade with Lemon Grass aka Limonada Hierba Luisa. Annabell was an awesome server with great suggestions.

Wow, this is true Peruvian food! Authentic flavors, fresh ingredients & delicious flavors! I came for a dinner with friends and we had such a nice time. The service from Daniela was super friendly. Definitely a place to come back and try more dishes and drinks!

We dined here on a recommendation, and Chabuca Cuisine delivered the goods. If you're in the mood for something different, bold, and full of flavor, this Peruvian gem is worth a visit. We kicked things off with the grilled octopus -- melt-in-your-mouth tender with just the right touch of smoky, citrusy flavor. I went for the crispy fish in seafood sauce, and it was a knockout -- golden on the outside, flaky on the inside, swimming in a rich, savory sauce that begged to be mopped up. A cold Peruvian beer made it even better. Everyone around the table was happy with their dish -- clean plates all around. The vibe is simple, nothing fancy, but the food does all the talking. Service was friendly, and while the language might be a little hit-or-miss, we had no issues. Saluti!

We had seen people online raving about the amazing food and staff at Chabuca and last night we found out why, this place is incredible! The drinks, the food, the people, it is all incredible and we will be back for sure. If you are in Orlando, make sure to stop and enjoy it all.

Don't regret trying out this restaurant! The ambiance was great, they opened 2 months ago so everything is new Love the wood touches on the tables. Pricing was great overall! The Trio Marino was much more affordable than expected. Service took a bit longer than expected... and I give it 3 stars because unfortunately the food did not meet my expectations ... it was missing that extra flavor kick in my opinion and native Peruvian

Chabuca is a new restaurant that was previously named Aji Express but is now under new ownership. The restaurant specializes in Peruvian cuisine such as Lomo Saltado, Arroz con Mariscos, Pollo a la Brasa, and much more. I must say that the restaurant looks much nicer than before and has additional seating outside now. The menu has changed a little bit but the quality of the food remains just as good or arguably better. I would highly recommend this place for Peruvian food. The staff have remained the same and this is a good thing because they were always so kind and helpful. I can't stress enough how good this experience was. The grand opening is January 18th 2025 so grab your keys and wallet and head to the restaurant!

Had An amazing experience. Today was their monthly Peruvian Buffet and I honestly had one of the best meals of my life. The Food, Service and Ambiance were all perfect!

    Half 1/2 Chicken

Wow what a great meal! We went here on a whim as most of the restaurants nearby are large corporate chains. Chabuca surprised us with some of the best food in recent memory. The half chicken was perfectly marinated and juicy, along with a delightfully seasoned skin. Fries served on the side were very well done and salted to perfection. The lomo saltado at recommendation of the staff was another fantastic dish. This was marinated perfectly with such a deliciously unique taste to the sauce. The mint lemonade was another highlight of the meal with a perfect blend of sweet and sour and none of the acidity that is usually present. I would highly recommend visiting Chabuca and supporting the wonderful staff and owners!

I was invited by some relatives for late lunch and even at 2pm, the place was packed so I already knew it had to be good. It was also intimate with chic decor and vibrant accents pieces so very fun and Instagram worthy decor happening here. As far as food goes, the servers were friendly enough to help me navigate the menu and land on the seafood options. I had the Arroz con Mariscos and it was presented beautifully, was sizable, and most importantly had incredible flavor. The calamari was a highlight of the dish. It was cooked perfectly. My family enjoyed their food as well and cleared their plates. Though I can't recall what they ordered, I know it was delicious. I stole bites. The plantain side dish also stands out in my mind as a must! I don't live particularly close by and it was a hike coming out but I have it book marked for a future pop in!

Sweet: We ordered this 3 entree option combo. You get 3 different options - ceviche, jalea And a seafood rice dish. Great deal!! It's less than $55 for the whole meal. Everything was delicious and packed with so much flavor. They give you different dipping sauces that are so good. The service was excellent and very helpful. Sour: my only sour is that they don't have a location in SoCal. Kidding!

There were only a few other parties seated, but it could've been the early afternoon hour we chose. Sitting outside would definitely be nice, but this was a day where Florida had yet to acknowledge that fall is here. Absolutely delicious! My coworkers had the lomo saltado and a ceviche bowl, both of which I'm told were delightful. Will definitely be back! Unfortunately, it may be priced out of my frequent favorites, but it would be a great special occasion location.

With that said I hate to say that this place is not the one I would pick to go and "enjoy" some Peruvian food. I ordered the sampler and the Causa the sampler was nice it did not wow me but it was nice. The shrimp is for certain frozen and not made fresh. Now the Causa is something that I was very disappointed in. To me this is a dish that always brought me back to Peru. Unfortunately this Causa did not do it justice. I would give anything chance unless it's just always blant. When it came to service I see people love the service and this is something I looked forward to but I would like to say the waitress was having a bad day. She was rushed and not the friendliest. I love tipping and I pride my self on making people feel good but the obligated 22% was crazy. To sum it up I have a 3 because the sampler made it ok and it was a friends birthday. I am not sure if I'll be back and if I am I'll be very cautious. Can't fully recommend but I would say try it for yourself and hopefully you have a better experience m.
