Had brunch here on our day trip to Ptown. Short wait (10 min) for a Sunday morning. Waitress knew her stuff--efficient and polite. Husband had breakfast burrito-"good." I had the French toast and it was as creamy and sweet as it was crunchy. Coffee is excellent. Didn't feel crowded but the main room only holds 36. Space is clean and feels spacious. Lots of booths. The benedicts were amazing!! The homemade hollandaise is so thick and rich it is almost like a mayonnaise. My husband does not care for mayo but he was practically licking the plate to get all of the hollandaise. The staff was friendly and attentive. This was my first time coming here however, my husband and his dad comes here at least once every trip. I ordered the French toast wth pineapple and caramel nuts. It sounded good as a special however I realized that French toast in Hawaii taste much different from French toast served here. Their French toast tasted more like bread pudding and I didn't like it at all. I only ate one piece and drowned it in maple syrup. I was very disappointed. My husband ordered bacon, eggs, and toast and demolished it. His dad ordered blueberry pancakes and that tasted pretty good. Chach is one of our favorite places to go for brunch in Ptown! I love the Eggs Benedict here among other things. The sandwiches are great and portions are healthy. Extremely popular with the locals and gets crowded quickly on and off season. The ambiance is casual and friendly. Something we look forward to every weekend. read more

Good breakfast. Great coffee. Good service. I had the basic eggs, bacon, homefries and elected to have a Portuguese roll. The over easy eggs were perfect, homefries seasoned well and 2 strips of bacon cooked just right. My roll was grilled perfectly too. We loved this place. Went twice in two days. The breakfast was super. Eggs Benedict was fresh and tasty. For lunch, the turkey club was excellent and they have a french toast that's great too. The service is extremely friendly. A very pleasant, completely unpretentious place. Only open until 2pm, so not a choice for dinner. I tried this place yesterday and after waiting about 10 minutes was seated at a table near the window where there was an unbelievably cold draft on my legs. I don't think this place even has a heater, they just figure the customers will generate body heat. The service is AWFUL! There are plenty of workers, yet they all run around like chickens with their heads cut off and do nothing, they just make it seem like they're doing something. When my waiter first came over I said what I wanted to drink, and 15 minutes later got it! He wasn't even doing anything, just running in circles over nothing. Friday morning didn't present a long wait (5-10 mins). Breakfast options were plenty. Unfortunately, I found the coffee totally undrinkable. I mean, BAD. Realllyyyyyyy wish more breakfast restaurants had espresso, but so far non-existent. My eggs Benedict was pretty good and husband enjoyed his huevos rancheros. Kids really liked their pancakes, eggs and sausage. A little on the pricier side but finding this is the general case for all food and drinks in P-town. Biggest complaint is the seasonal help. And this was also not unique here. These young kids (mostly Eastern European) don't understand their role as a server. They need to check in periodically. They all seem to disappear so forget getting refills, napkins or anything else after you order and after your food arrives. This is totally unacceptable when you're paying more for your food. This and the awful coffee kept Chach from getting 5-stars. read more

WHAT HAPPENED?!!!!!??? Let me start by saying it should have been a five star plus review ... Day one and day two were amazing from the time I entered the place for the first time the staff the atmosphere the food all top-notch ....then.... today I go in for my third breakfast and was seated by a very nice guy and then a blonde with glasses came over she noticed I had my tea bag with me like I did the two previous days and said that I had to use the water outside and I told her the last two days it wasn't a problem and right from there it was one of the most horrible experiences I've ever had being waited on ... The attitude the lack of professionalism I almost got up and left right away but the food is so great there I decided to stay .... I thought maybe it's just me but took my order delivered it never checked on if I liked it and brought the check over at the end the attitude was still there .... unfortunately I will probably never go there again what a shame how one person can change an experience... The food here is incredible. simple and delicious. I came for lunch and had a salad and the BLT with their home made fries. They were honestly the best fries I have ever had. They had that home made shallow fried taste where they are crispy and soft at the same time. The BLT is yum on multigrain bread with applewood smoked bacon. and yet surprisingly I have to say the star of the show was the salad. simple side salad comes with an unexpected addition of chickpeas. get it with their buttermilk dressing. dressing is creamy and light with a savory garlic dill flavor. most delicious dressing ever. I think atmosphere is in here is great as well. upbeat lively but still chill enough to sit back relax and catch up with friends. I noted a lot of bitching in the other reviews about unfriendly wait staff. dunno. who cares? food is good, come with a friend or bring a book or something so you wont need so much attention from the poor waitress. read more

Came here for breakfast on a late Wednesday morning with my boyfriend and had to wait a few minutes for a table to open up as a few groups had arrived just before us. I ordered the florentine Benedict and my boyfriend ordered two eggs over easy as well as their renowned French toast. We also shared a pistachio cream chocolate cronut and ordered a coffee each. To his surprise, his eggs came with a piece of toast AND home fries. We thought it would merely just come with eggs and toast. The total for that one meal was $5.75! Our total bill came out to $41! You can't beat that in Provincetown! My florentine Benedict was delicious, as many of the other reviews have already stated. His French toast was also very delectable- soft, yet crispy. My girlfriend and I spent the night in Provincetown and scoured the web for breakfast joints the next morning. We came upon Chach this awesome little diner who specializes in Eggs Benedict. I order the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. It was delicious. While my girlfriend order the California Benedict which was great as well. We also got a pancake to share which also delicious. My team and I came here to have breakfast after we completed the Ragnar Relay on the Cape. It was a very nice end to running that long! They were able to accommodate 6 of us at a booth, which was nice. I loaded up on iced coffee and some delicious French toast. All 6 of us enjoyed our meals! If there's a better breakfast to be had in Ptown, I can't imagine what it would be. I ate breakfast at Chach's twice over Columbus Day weekend. The service, atmosphere, and THE FOOD were all wonderful. Plenty of seating, despite it being a very popular spot, and very friendly & efficient wait staff. I enjoyed the mushroom/feta/spinach omelette so much on my first visit that I repeated the meal on my second. Friends enjoyed pancakes, eggs, and a roast beef hash that sounded near heaven. Great price point for the usually expensive Ptown, too. Heartily recommended to anyone visiting Provincetown for breakfast and/or lunch. read more

Great breakfast spot. We came with 25 people (without a res) and I think it was a little daunting to the staff so they were a bit ancy the whole time. I tried the black bean burger (which was delicious) but I should have ordered breakfast bc it looked amazing when it came out. We love this out of the way place and our only wish is that they were open for dinner. I dream about the green chili omelet -- which is by far my favorite breakfast anywhere. The place has a great chill'in atmosphere and adds to our vacation experience. We also stop in for lunch and I (the carnivore) will order the black bean burger -- it is totally awesome.
