    Quiche Lorraine
    Samantha C.

Convenient cafe for a light breakfast and afternoon pastries. Everything looked amazing; we dined in and took some pastries to go. I had the quiche Lorraine while my husband had the breakfast croissant sandwich. Delicious! Maybe don't make any plans for afterwards though... Service was fast. Light and airy ambiance. Prices were a bit high I thought for the portions but not outrageous. The cafe is conveniently located in a plaza next to Trader Joe's. Ample parking.

This is a small place with outdoor and indoor seating. You need to go up to the counter to order and they give you a number to put on your table so that they can deliver your food. This was our first time and I decided to have the half quiche and half salad. I chose the goat and spinach quiche. It was very good, nice and warm. I also chose the Cobb salad. It is amazing that you have the choice of any salad! My husband had the goat cheese salad which came with a baguette. It was large and he enjoyed it. The one bad thing was that the drinks were not explained. They had 2 ice teas on the menu. Since one had sugar in it, my husband chose the simply black. In reality, there was a third kind of tea which was also unsweetened. The food was very good and I would go back and try something different.

As you walk in, you can't help but feel as if you were transported straight to France. Everywhere you look has that cozy bistro feel. From the decorations to the pastries, every last detail makes it feel authentic. Everyone is always sweet and helpful! Growing up, I used to only get to come here on special occasions such as, Birthdays, holidays, straight A's, or just because my dad wanted to spoil his little girl. So, over the years I've built up an affinity for Champagne Bakery. Since, I've been here so many times I've tried just about everything! But, my favorites are the three layered chocolate cake, princess cake, lemon cheesecake, and any of the laminated pastries! You really can't go wrong with anything! Napoleon- This treat is absolutely perfect! It consists of flakey thin delicate layers of crispy pastry dough with fluffy rich vanilla cream, topped with a delicious nutty chocolate drizzle. And, just a sprinkle of powdered sugar. You simply must try it! Croissant- If you're looking for a pastry straight out of Paris. Then try this one. It's flaky, delicate, and decadent! It has layers of buttery bliss with a crunchy crispy outside that is pure heaven! Three Layered Chocolate Cake-This cake is creamy, decadent, dense, and rich! It's a true work of art. It has three light layers of moose. White chocolate, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate. With a thin layer of chocolate sponge cake dipped in dark chocolate. This adds an addictive crunch factor that'll you'll dream about! Princess Cake-If you're a hazelnut fan, this cake is made for you! It consist of layers of chocolate mousse, almond sponge cake, praline crisp, topped with chocolate ganache! This cake is nutty, sweet, yet well balanced. The contrast of the silky smooth moose, the bouncy cake, and the praline crisp, make this picture perfect cake unforgettable! This cake will make it on your favorites list. Lemon Cheesecake-This cheesecake is zesty, dense, and fresh. It has a crunchy crisp crust topped with a rich and velvety cheesecake. With a thin layer of tangy lemon curd. Once you try this decadent dessert. You'll never go back.

Stopped in this cute little neighborhood French bakery for some chocolate covered strawberries and tiramisu as a gift to a friend! Very nice service and a huge menu of very tasty looking breakfast and lunch items. Definitely will have to come back to try the food!

Cute little cafe tucked away in a strip mall. Great place for breakfast on a slow Monday. The lady behind the counter was nice and busy. She had so much patience with a male customer who not only interrupted another worker cleaning tables to help him...because he was more important and then he cut in-line. But, she remained professional through the whole encounter. Our food was very good. We even picked up wonderful desserts to go. We will return!

Ordered from a delivery app the French dip with a side salad. The delivery people forgot the dip but the sandwich was still sooo good The bread was fresh, soft inside and a nice crisp crunch of the crust. I would definitely order again. However, the salad dressing was appalling! I should've tried it first but instead I just mixed it in without tasting it first and ick! Had to throw the whole thing out. But I would go back, I also love their almond twist pastry. So good!!

    Bowl of French Onion soup

I was totally ripped off. I ordered and paid $9. 69 for a bowl of French onion soup. I was served the soup in a cup. When I asked the young lady if this was a bowl she said yes. When I asked what does a cup look like, she corrected herself and said, oh no, this is a cup. I told her I had ordered a bowl. She made me show her my receipt. She took the cup and said she would bring me back a bowl. All the young lady did was pour the cup of soup into a bowl, and then served it to me. The only reason I know this is because before she took the cup of soup from me I had already cut up the croutons that were in the soup. When she served me the bowl it was half full with the same cut up croutons. A total ripoff! Shame on you! Never ever again.

Good lunch spot for some sandwiches and other treats! Stopped by here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the tastes and variety of food. A friend took me here for lunch or else I would have not tried this because I thought "bakery" = bread and pastries. I was happy to find such a good selection of lunchable foods. I am not sure I picked the right combo this time. The food took a while to be served. We waited about 15 minutes and it wasn't terribly busy but slightly busy. The half sandwich I ordered was mostly all bread with a little short rib inside. The Mac-n-cheese was good. I will be back to try this spot again.

Lots of chocolate and I think they added toffee in it too. The middle section had pistachio frangipane (or it looked like it) with coarsely chopped pistachios that brought another layer of crunch! Then to top it all off, it had pistachio cream on top of the cookie! I only wish I got another one. CAPPUCCINO It was okay. But love the foam! It was frothy and foamy! PAVLOVA The meringue was a bit too hard and too sweet and the pastry cream was overwhipped. Loved the fresh fig and blueberries though. I was looking forward to eating pavlova and this was very disappointing! KOUIGN AMANN Very buttery and sticky! Crispy on the outside. Every bite was not dry, but chewy. There was this sticky and chewy texture that wasn't unpleasant, yet it wasn't fully flaky like a croissant. But glad it was not dry! The kouign amann was not as tall like others I've tried, but I preferred it this way because it was not dry. The last kouign amann I had from Bread Lounge was dryyyy. But bought mine at a coffee shop too. PAIN AU CHOCOLAT Crispy on the outside, but I must have toasted a bit more, so the outside was a bit more toasted than desired. Inside was good. Good dark chocolate. BUTTER CROISSANT Really buttery, flaky, crispy! Ate it next day, so reheated it in the toaster oven to bring a more crispness all around. Really enjoyed this! Adding butter and jam is so good! LEMON MERINGUE Meringue had a strong eggy smell and flavor, the lemon was tangy, but not enough to rid of the eggy smell and flavor. The tart was hard and almost stale. I took a few bites and threw the rest out. PAIN SUISSE Chocolate flavor. Crispy on the outside, fluffy like a light spongy cake inside. Enjoyed this! CUSTOMER SERVICE Got there early afternoon. There was only one person in front of me. Good service overall. Quick service. Hits and misses of the various pastries I've tried. It will not deter me from trying their pastries though, as the really good ones were really good! Would love to return! Especially for that Choco Chip Pistachio Cookie! All of my friends have also agreed that they love my drink. When I've gone, I've seen a long line and also a relatively short one. The wait is never too bad, as the line moves pretty fast. I think parking has also been not too bad, as there are plenty of street parking available. The cafe itself is really cute and I love the interior. There's a front section, but if you walk down the hallway, there's a back where there's more seating and an outdoor patio. Service has been good as well :) I will definitely be back!
